About this house rental

This charming one storey end terrace house, completely renovated and decorated in an elegant style. BBQ and large sun terrace area, private swimming pool and with views of the sea, free wi-fi in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from various amenities such as restaurants, mini market, diving centre, Lido swimming sea area where you can do diving or snorkling.
This area offers a variety of activities where you can explore the mountains , enjoy water sports or just relax by the pool. Caniço de Baixo has also a variety of restaurants where you can enjoy the Portuguese and international cuisine, have fresh fish from the Atlantic waters and all delicious types of food.
No car is required, excellent bus services to Funchal City only a few minutes walk from the villa.
Airport transfers and sight seeing tours can be organised.

Pool heating should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

We spend a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Everything was perfect! The rooms and interieur is exactly as described, Cecilia was a very nice host and perfect to communicate with. The pool was nicely heated and we were welcomed with wine, milk, eggs, cookies,... Just a perfect experience. Next time we will be in Madeira, we will rent this property again.

Very spacious, clean villa with great facilities, wonderful pool, close to shops and restaurants (walking distance) in a quiet area. The host provided us with some groceries which were a nice touch and very appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again / recommend to anyone.

This vacation was a return to Madeira after five years and to celebrate my wife's birthday. The property is in a great location and provided plenty of facilities especially the private swimming pool. There are several good to excellent restaurants and bars in the vicinity of the property and the local shops can provide all the items required for a great stay. Transport to all the main areas are via taxi's and the local bus services with a bus ride to the capital Funchal costing just 2.20 euros. The support from AYS was very good when we had a few issues resolved to our satisfaction. The operating instructions for the TV could have been provided as the main channels were featuring German broadcasts and attempting to find english speaking broadcasts was a bit hit and miss. Overall, a brilliant holiday and a reminder of what a beautiful island this is. Saving for the next visit!

The property is finished to a very high standard, in a lovely quiet area that is within easy walking distance to all amenities. Had everything you will need. So glad we chose Sea View Villa, can highly recommend it to anyone. Perfection.

Modernes Haus in guter Lage. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt mit allen Komfort. Gut geeignet für Paar, auch mit Kindern. Bei Ankunft ein sehr netter Warenkorb und alles toll erklärt von Alan dem Besitzer. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. W-Lan sehr gut. Somit eigentlich alles perfekt. Störend könnten für Langschläfer die Nachbarhunde sein, da diese den Wecker um 7 Uhr ersetzen. Die Agentur ist nur bedingt zu empfehlen, da die Kommunikation mit dieser schwierig ist, um nur einige Beispiele zu nennen, Einforderung erhöhter Kosten für Pool Beheizung trotz anderweitiger Bestätigung, Übermittlung falscher Telefonnummern, Anrufbeantworter obwohl terminlich vereinbart. Termin zur Dokumtenübergabe nicht wahrgenommen ohne den Termin abzusagen, usw. Trotz diesem empfehlen wir das sehr schöne Haus

Alles perfekt!

Die Einfahrt, der kleine Garten mit vielen Blumen, der Aufgang zum Haus macht schon mal einen guten Eindruck. Oben angekommen erwartet einen eine Terrasse mit Außenküche, Pool (zuviel Chlor!) und bequeme Liegen. Im Inneren des Hauses ist alle sehr gepflegt und gemütlich eingerichtet. Eine super ausgestattete Küche, 2 Schlafzimmer mit sehr guten Matratzen, schöne Bäder, genügend Handtücher und auch Badetücher für den Pool. Im Umkreis kann man zu Fuß in die sehr guten Restaurants gehen. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das gegenüberliegende Restaurant. Und nicht zu vergessen..der wahnsinnige Ausblick auf das Meer und die vorbeiziehenden Schiffe und Fähren! Es war einfach alles perfekt!

Die Sea View Villa ist ein tolles luxeriöses Ferienhaus mit allem erdenklichen Komfort. Tolle zentrale Lage und wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer. Mit dem Auto ist man ruckzuck auf der Autobahn und kommt überall sehr schnell hin. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der direktem Umgebung. Kleines Manko: in der Nachbarschaft gibt es einige Hunde, die gerne mal morgens um sechs längere Zeit lautstark auf sich aufmerksam machen. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und wir wurden mit einem gefüllten Kühlschrank mit dem Nötigsten für den ersten Tag herzlich empfangen. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen und da wir einen Mietwagen hatten, den wir auf den Grubdstück parkieren konnten, waren wir grenzenlos mobil. Top

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Villa sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Gegend, die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Der Service war ebenfalls perfekt. Die Kinder liebten den Pool und wir den Ausblick auf's Meer. Herzlichen Dank Cecilia und Alan!

Alles neu und hochwertig, in der Küche mangelt es an nichts, sogar eine Wein-Vakuum-Pumpe war da! Günstige Lage mit tollem Blick und netten Restaurants in wenigen 100m Umgebung. Wir waren rundum zufrieden, wirklich empfehlenswert!

This villa has everything required for a great stay. A much appreciated welcome pack of groceries was there on our arrival. The owners were there to greet us and show us around and were only a phone call away if we needed them. The villa is modern, well equipped, well maintained and comfortable. Check out the telescope, we watched dolphin pods feeding almost every day (7.30am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm). Nearby restaurants which you can walk to are inexpensive and good value. We found the Portuguese people warm and friendly. The bus services are good but we rented a car to get around the island. Ample parking exists at the villa.

Amazing Villa, just perfect!

This villa is fab. Great location and wonderful view. The owners have really done this villa out to high standard and thought of everything. We have had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this property. We had a car which I would recommend, and it was a short hop to Funchal and within 30/40 mins to various attractions on the island.

Wir haben das Ferienhaus wie in der Anzeige ( Verzicht auf Weitwinkelfotos) mit tollen Blick auf den Atlantik vorgefunden. Der Besitzer selbst empfing uns und führte uns durch Haus und erklärte uns die Handhabung einiger Geräte, Beleuchtung etc.Er hatte auch einen großen Obststeller sowie Sekt, Orangensaft, Milch, Butter, Brot, Schinken und Käse für die Erstversorgung bereitgestellt. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben uns rund um Wohlgefühlt und die Ausstattung war erstklassig. In der Mitte des Urlaubs wurde nochmal Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Die Parkplatzsuche entfiel, da man das Auto mit ins Grundstück nehmen durfte.

Alles wie beschrieben, super ausgestattete Küche mit Induktionsfeld, Dusche drinnen und draußen... Der Salzwasserpool ist nicht beheizt aber man gewohnt sich schnell daran. Nachts haben leider immer wieder die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft gebellt, was ein wenig störend war. Ansonsten kann ich das Haus nur empfehlen. Sehr netter Vermieter und super Service! Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir waren 10 Tage vor Ort und an 4 Tagen standen der Gärtner, der Poolboy und Hauskeeping unerwartet vor der Tür oder bereits am Pool als wir draussen lagen. Die Türklingel ist aussen kaum hörbar, so das die Dienstleister natürlich denken, dass niemand zu Hause ist.

Beautiful setting with sea view. Modern property with charm. Close to several restaurants and shops etc. Restaurant opposite allowed us to take jugs of sangria and beer back to our own poolside. Grounds frequently maintained (pool and gardens). Owner continues to input property to constantly improve it. When our aircraft was delayed due to high winds for 24 hrs the owner agreed to put us up for an extra night and also came to collect us at the airport within 20 mins of a telephone call. This got us out of a tricky situation as we could not find any available hotel rooms. I thoroughly recommend this property. Funchal is easily accessible from closeby bus stop for less than 4 euros
