About this apartment rental
In a property on the quiet Route de la Balme, this apartment, renovated in 2017, very well located, offers all the equipment expected for family mountain holidays (1 couple and 2 to 3 children).
Our prices include, via a professional concierge, your reception directly on site without having to go through an agency, end of stay cleaning, rental of sheets and towels. In addition, its staff will be able to offer you, at your discretion, other services according to your desires (babysitting, chef at home, etc.).
A large entrance hall accommodates a bench for changing, numerous hooks and shelves, suitable for helmets. The entrance cupboards offer a boot dryer for 5 pairs of ski boots.
The bedroom accommodates 3 bunk beds; each 90 cm bed has its electrical outlet, reading lamp and tablet. A wardrobe completes the bedroom.
The bathroom has a large shower (150 x 80), with rain sky for a well-deserved relaxation. The equipment includes a hairdryer and an iron. A 4kg washing machine is located in the separate toilets.
The kitchen is fully equipped: ceramic hob, dishwasher, combined microwave oven (traditional oven, grill, microwave), fridge with freezer compartment. The small household appliance is complete, with a Nespresso machine in addition.
The main room accommodates the kitchen, the living room table, and a sofa bed (thick and firm 12 cm mattress) for 2 adults.
There is obviously a 32 "TV and also a Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker available.
A WiFi connection allows you to stay connected.
The south-west facing balcony offers afternoon sun and a view of the Bellevarde massif and the Tovière valley.
The Chantelouve residence is ideally located between Avenue Olympique and the Route de la Balme.
A retractable bollard gives access to the interior courtyard to unload luggage, and offers some free parking spaces, depending on availability. Other free spaces reserved for the residence (also subject to availability and snow cover) are protected by sets of chains and padlocks along the route de la Balme.
In addition, the covered car parks in Val d'Isère can be reserved in advance via the dedicated website.
Shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes' walk away (Sherpa 5 minutes, gas station with mini-market and bread store 200m away).
2 shuttles serve the residence less than 100 m away: the red line (from the Daille to the Pistes roundabout) on the Olympic Avenue side, and the Yellow line (from the Bus Station to the piste roundabout via the foot of the cable car to the Olympic and the Aquasport Center) on the Route de la Balme side (small shuttle whose Route de la Balme stop is the first stop: no queues, few people).
You can also reach the start of the slopes on foot in just over 5 minutes, arriving at the foot of the Bellevarde cable car.
This same route gives you access to the Aquasportif center.

The place is very small but very clean and conveniently situated close to the slopes. Concierge Constance was very punctual and helpful. My son forgot his headphones and she was kind enough to send us his headphones to Canada.

A short walk to the town centre/ski lifts with bus stop near by. The apartment was modern, clean and compact with everything we needed for a family of three. The only negative was the check in process as the cleaning company staff who met us did not speak English and were not able to answer questions. However we called the owner who was very helpful. Note - there was no parking available as spaces had been taken so we dropped off bags and then parked in underground car park which cost€90 for the week and was 5min walk away.

The apartment is in a good location, just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, and slopes. The apartment itself is well equipped with everything you would need for a holiday. The ski boot dryer and washing machine inside the apartment are great bonuses. The only drawback is that when the sofa bed is extended, the kitchen is inaccessible. Thanks again for sharing your home!

The apartment is clean, very functional, close to town and to the Bellevarde base. I would recommend it for a couple or close friends, though not for a family with children. The kitchen is well furnished, and there is a dishwasher and a washing machine for clothing. The 'no shoes' rule is a good one, as the floors are parquet, and therefore slippery. The owner is friendly and helpful.
All in all a fine place to stay in Val D'Isere.
