We had such a great week at Celeste Beach house. The location is perfect being just steps from the ocean! The house had everything we needed and more. Communication was great with the owners and Mr. Miller. We had such a great time!

The house was in a beautiful location right on the beach. The house was well stocked with dishes, pot/pans, beach towels, snorkel gear, life jackets and several kayaks. It was also very clean. Mr. and Mrs. Miller are the property managers and did a wonderful job meeting all of our needs.

When we arrived Mr Miller was waiting on us with a smile and the keys. He showed us the property and insisted that we let him know if we needed anything or had any questions. The house was clean and tidy and just as described. Having a full size washer and dryer was a huge plus. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part was the view! It was wonderful to wake up to the beautiful water and white sand every morning! We are already planning our return trip! Thank you Sarah for sharing your property with us and thank you for your quick responses and for answering all of our questions!

Everything is exactly as the photos. A truly wonderful spot!

This property exceeded our expectations. It had everything that we needed (and more). The location to the most beautiful beach could not be beat. The Tropic of Cancer beach was stunning and as mentioned previously there were very few people there. We ate all of our meals in and had everything in the house needed to prepare them. We rented a car and visited other beaches in the morning; then returned to our "home" beach to enjoy a quiet afternoon and sunset. This property was perfect. Thank you to Sarah and Mr. Miller for all of your help and timeliness of replies. We had a great girl's trip!

Located on the prettiest beach! Beach house was awesome and we enjoyed every minute!

The property was perfect for our needs. We had 2 young adults that stayed in the smaller house and 2 adults and a teen stay in the 2 BR. Everything was clean and attractive, great layout and beautiful view. We were happy to have so many clean towels and beach towels. Sarah was extremely responsive and Mr. Miller, the property manager was very helpful. Tropic of Cancer beach is heaven on earth. The location was a little further from Georgetown than where we have stayed previously, but for me, this was fine. 25 minute drive to town. There are a couple of wonderful restaurants close by- Satanas and another I can’t recall the name. We love the Exumas and if we return with family/friends we will definitely stay here again. Many sand fleas (?) on the beach, but that’s nature! There was bug spray and sunscreen in the house as well.
Thank you, Sarah and Mr. Miller for a great accommodation. We had the best time.

We absolutely loved our stay at Celeste! The home is exactly as advertised, perfectly accommodated our family of 5 with the back house and is located on a breathtakingly beautiful beach. We will definitely return in the future. Sarah and the Millers were very helpful.

Booking was easy. Good response time from Sarah and Mr Miller when we needed things. Directions to the home were accurate. Mr Miller waiting for us with the front door keys and showed us around. Mr Miller answered questions: how to catch a water taxi, location of the markets/days that fresh produce arrives, straw market, things to do. Mr Miller (grandpa to 18) was a great wealth of information. He offered to visit later in the week, we said yes to Wed. We didn't see him again until Wed when he stopped by. Everything in the house functioned well, easy to find, and clean. All rooms were spacious. Great house wifi signal. Comfortable beds too! Several 5 gal jugs of bottled water in the house. Flatscreen TV's in both bedrooms. Some construction was going on next door at a house close to the road, it was not disruptive to us at all. Our house is on a lovely section of the beach and a short stroll to the water led by a path of seashells. 4 lounge chairs were at water's edge next to 4 kayaks/1double. We kayaked. Plenty of life jackets in the laundry & bedroom closet- many sizes for both adults and children. We had the beach to ourself the entire week except for other family staying 8 houses down. Kitchen well stocked with oil, spices, pots & pans, baking/measuring, leftovers containers, foil, ziplock, coffee filters, ice cube, trays, flat cooktop stove. We lost power only once for a couple hours and it was no big deal, gas grill & 2 tanks works too. A great week at a great house!

The house is very clean and is just as described in the listing. The distance to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is unbeatable. It is well appointed with kayaks, ice chest, life vest, rafts, and beach stuff. The road going in and out is a little rough and I would recommend a jeep or higher clearance vehicle.

The six of us (me, husband, 4 children aged 2-14) visited for 11 nights. This was our first time in the Exumas. The house sits right in the middle of Tropic of Cancer beach, which turned out to be our favorite beach out of all the ones we went to. More than once we had the beach to ourselves. The home had a nice layout, and the manager was able to get us an extra bed (twin sized) for my 14 year old, which we put in the large laundry room. This worked out perfectly for us. The house had most everything we needed, and was fairly well stocked up. No complaints from us, and we would certainly consider staying a this home again.

We took a family trip with five adults and one 10-year-old child. The two houses were perfect! The house had everything we needed. Tropic of cancer beach is always amazing. The water is clear and calm. Perfect for lounging in the water, snorkeling, or for people who are not strong swimmers. The water is very calm. It is a bit of a drive to Georgetown for the grocery store and other things but you cannot beat the location on tropic of cancer beach !! this location is quiet even with people in other homes nearby you feel like you have the beach to yourself! Everybody is friendly, the locals are nice and helpful! The property manager was always responsive. Mr. Miller answered all of our questions and gave us some great recommendations. We even had, his daughter cook a traditional meal for us at our home, which was amazing! They did such a fabulous job of preparing the food, and they so welcoming, and we had a great conversation! Not to mention the amazing food that they cooked! I would highly recommend. We cannot say enough about this house. It’s beautiful it’s in a perfect spot. You really cannot ask for anything more! we had kayaks and a paddleboard to use plenty of lifejackets. Lounge chairs by the beach. Great views for the sunrise and the sunset. No need to look any further than this property. We will definitely be back.

We couldn't be happier with our stay on Little Exuma! The house was wonderful and VERY WELL stocked with linens, dry goods, kitchen items, water toys, etc! We had an amazing time at the Celeste House! Very hard to leave. So beautiful inside and out. I enjoy cooking and it had everything I could need and more (thank you!). The bit of shade at the beach can’t be beat, we were able to stay outside all day. Mr. Miller and his wife Beverly took excellent care of us, so lucky we got to meet them. Can’t wait to return!

This was the perfect spot for us to retreat, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The care take Mr. Miller is so inundated and helpful. This is a magical spot for sure. A stroll down in the beach to Brea’s Delight has the best burgers and they even grilled me up some fresh grouper.

What a beautiful home and beach! Every moment looking out to the water feels like a dream, it's such a vibrant blue. One of the cleanest clearest waters I've seen and some evenings we were the only people on the beach. We visited for over a week with our 2 kids (1 and 4yrs) and my in-laws joined for a few nights staying in the studio. The house is lovely, very clean, all the amenities we needed, a crib for our toddler, perfect set up for our family and for having little ones! We greatly appreciated the sand toys, kayaks and paddle boards. The only issue was some construction 2 houses down that was bothersome during the day, but that is out of the owner's hands and not surprised, the island is incredible, I'm sure there will be a lot of growing and building. Exuma felt super safe, we met wonderful people around town and ate many delicious meals! Sarah was great to communicate with, very friendly and quick to respond. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return some day!

Amazing beach vacation!
What a great house and beach. You never really need to leave if you stock the fridge on your way in from the airport. The house has EVERYTHING. seriously. And the beach is so empty that you often feel like you have a mile of pristine sand all to yourself. And the caretaker, Mr. Miller was super helpful and even got us fresh grouper from a local fisherman.

Paradise
Most beautiful beaches and the sand is something out of this world. The house sits right on the beach . We rented both units which worked out great for our bigger family . The house was very well stocked, had everything we needed. Make sure to stop and grab groceries when driving thru Georgetown. We found blu restaurant to be the best food on the island call ahead to get a reservation. Day excursion to swimming pigs was amazing! I would definitely come back here again.

Great home, beautiful beach!
This home was perfect for my husband and our 3 children. The home was comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for the week. Kids loved having access to beach toys (kayaks, skim board, etc), board games and cards were a plus too. Beach was very quiet and was the most beautiful water and sand! Communication with Sarah and Mr. Miller was very easy for any questions we had. Great stay! Can’t wait to go back!

If you never been in Exuma.......think twice!! Besides the beach you'll have nothing else to do.... like nothing!!! Roads are horrible restaurants are dirty and let's not talk about food. The few grocerie stores (also dirty) are EXPENSIVE like 3 times the prices in Chicago!!! I mentioned earlier the beaches.......they are nice when is not windy. We stayed 8 days and didn't have a single day without wind. We rent a villa on tropic of cancer..........believe me ........OVERRATED!!

Great stay in Little Exuma
This was our first time staying in Little Exuma. We have stayed in Great Exuma in Tar Bay previously. This house is right on Tropic of Cancer beach and the location was beautiful. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks out to Turtle Island and exploring. The chairs on the beach were perfect. There is a nice patio that we did not see in the pictures, so that was a nice surprise. If it is windy, the waves at the beach can be pretty significant, but when it is calm, it is beautiful. The house was very clean, the AC worked perfectly. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen was well set up. You do need to know the closest grocery is 20-25 minutes away, on rough roads. We also did not realize that September starts the off season, so several restaurants were closed. The well water is not recommended for drinking, so there was a water cooler there with plenty for the 4 of us during our stay. Mr. Miller came every morning to check on the property and was fun to visit with. We invited him to join us for coffee a few mornings and he was happy to answer questions and tell us a little history of Exuma. If you haven't been to Exuma yet, the people of this wonderful island are probably the 2nd best thing about the island (The beaches and beautiful water and views are very hard to compete with as Number 1!) Our favorite spots during this trip were Santana's for amazing food, Cocoplum beach and the beach at the top of Great Exuma during low tide. We also enjoyed Jolly Hall Beach and Hooper's Bay. We did not see the turtles, but we found out later that we needed to get closer to the docks at Hooper's Bay.
The only recommendation I could possibly mention would be adding a high level water filtration system to the well water. It had quite an odor at times. We do realize this is remote island well water though, so understandable.
Sarah was wonderful to work with, very responsive to any questions and all communications. They own a beautiful property and we appreciate the chance to stay there.

Tropical paradise!
We just got back from a week at the beautiful Celeste home on Tropic of Cancer beach and wish we could still be there! We had this house booked for 2020 but the borders closed. I stayed in touch with the owner, Sarah and we were able to go in August 2021. So worth the wait!!
First of all, I want to say that Sarah is an absolute amazing person to communicate with.
Mr. Miller greeted us upon arrival and answered all our questions. He is a very nice gentleman and takes great pride in caring for the home (as well as the one next door). He is willing to answer questions, give advice on where to go/do and when he says he will do something, he does. His wife does a terrific job cleaning the inside of the home.
The house was picture perfect and exactly as described. It was not only tastefully decorated, amazingly clean, but smelled fresh and clean to. There is just about everything in the house you need....from kitchen items such as dishes, to many towels, chairs, snorkeling gear, life vests, etc. It was great to have so much available to use.
The house is on a great spot of the beach. Of course, the beach itself is incredible. White sand, blue waters and barely anyone else on it the entire week. The view from the house is great but a bit hard to see the ocean much while on the couch since it is a one story.
We enjoyed the two single kayaks, as well as the 3 person one. Twice we were able to kayak to Turtle Island and into the cave! If the wind is down and tides right, give it a go! The cave is really neat and worth it (the cave faces the house and is on the left side). We snorkeled around the beach facing side of the island as well.
Also, we discovered an amazing cove to the far left of the house. It's about a mile walk and when you get to the massive rocks, follow the short path through the palm forest and you'll come out into the most beautiful slice of paradise.
We highly recommend a FULL day excursion with Exuma Water Sports. We did that on our first day and had an amazing time.
Another day we went to Chat N Chill and spent about 3 hours there. Very cool to feed the sting rays and would recommend. Hoopers Bay is a must to see the Sea Turtles.
Highly recommend the Celeste House and it's location. I would for sure go back!

Absolutely Perfect
The beach and the water are even more beautiful than the pictures. Two families stayed here for the week (one in each cottage/bungalow) and had an amazing time - the property had all of the water toys you need (kayaks, SUPs, snorkels, etc) and was very clean and comfortable. We were the only people on the beach within about 300 yards so felt like a private beach. The caretaker, Mr. Miller, was very helpful and we enjoyed talking with him about the island. Wasn’t sure what to expect since the other review called him creepy but he wasn’t at all. He was obviously just trying to care for the property and make sure the renters had everything they needed. His wife even cooked us a homemade meal our last night there and it was delicious. We would definitely rent here again.

Great Property on a Beautiful Beach
Property is well suited for families or friends visiting Exuma. The additional cottage came in very handy for us as it gave our 2 teenage daughters there own space when we needed some space. The property is steps away from the ocean and the beach sands are like nothing I have seen before. Your feet sink into the sand! Although it was a bit too windy for us to kayak out on the bay, I have no doubt that would have been awesome to do. We are told it's typically very calm waters. Overall would recommend this place to anyone looking for a more private experience away from the crowds with great view

Absolutely gorgeous home & views w/ the most beautiful water I've ever seen
Two couples (mid-50's) stayed from 2/1-2/8. The pictures on the website don't do the home justice. When you walk in the door and look out the back, you'll be blown away by the beauty! The home itself is very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has seems to have enough plates, silverware, glasses, coffee cups, etc. to handle a party of 12 or more people. It is the best-stocked of any home we've ever rented...by far! All the cookware and bake ware that you'll ever need. Also coffee maker (#4 cone filters), blender, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, even a bread maker. Lots of spices etc., but better bring your own condiments (mayo, mustard, ketchup, butter etc.) and coffee. Close to a dozen beach towels and lots of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels. Will only have a couple rolls of toilet paper, so bring some with you. A/C and a fan in both bedrooms & an A/C and 2 fans in main room; all seemed to work well. Would've been great to have screens on windows and sliding doors to let the breeze through (not sure if it's because of bugs or what). Each bedroom has its own small TV, but don't expect to watch anything unless you have a firestick or something that works outside the US as there's no cable or satellite (biggest downfall of this house). A lot of snorkels & masks, although most seemed for kids. Fins are pretty much all small sizes and are the short (boogie board) type. Better to bring your own or rent. A couple collapsable coolers that can hold about a case of beer and ice. About 6 large vinyl bags to use for groceries (they charge for plastic bags at the stores) or taking stuff to the beach. One 2-person kayak and two 1-person kayaks. Also have a SUP but it's an inflatable one, so probably not for beginners. Great chaise lounges (4) and 2 small tables that you can take down to the beach. The pine tree at the property/beach line is fantastic...one of the few places on the entire beach for shade; it's great!
Ate supper at Santana's twice and at Tropic Breeze twice. While not cheap (nothing really is on any island) the food, owners and workers were all fantastic! Always call ahead to see how late they plan on being open.
Mr. Miller, the caretaker, was nice enough but he did seem to be creeping around a lot and looking for an excuse to come in. Wasn't really all that helpful and really didn't see him do a lot.
Sarah, your contact, was always quick to respond.
Overall a fantastic house to get away!

When my family and I arrived at this house we were absolutely amazed by the beautiful view that the house had to offer. we had such a great time at the house, we cooked our meals, play games and relax! I couldn’t have asked for more we absolutely loved what Exuma had to offer! Thank you so much!!! We hope to come back soon!

BEAUTIFUL BEACH AND HOUSE!!!!
This property did not disappoint. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. The furniture was nice and the beds were comfortable. The two master bedrooms with almost identical with their own bathrooms, perfect for two couples. Outside furniture was abundant, from beach chairs to lounges. We used the kayaks to paddle to Turtle Island in the beautiful clear ocean water.
You are quite remote on Little Exuma and the roads are pretty rough so be sure to shop smartly. It took about 30minutes to get to grocery store.
We took the Ultimate Day A Way Group Excursion with Aquaquest and it turned out to be our favorite adventure. They pick you up at the house and take you to the far side of Exuma to their excursion boat which left the dock at 8:30am and returned about 4:30pm. We swam with the pigs, feed the iguanas, snorkeled Thunderball grotto, and played on the sand bar, among other stops. It was the highlight of the many things we experienced on this vacation. Santana’s is a must. Great food and rustic beach atmosphere. We swam with the friendly turtles at the beautiful beach in Hoopers Bay. Nothing surpassed the beauty of the beach behind our house. The Tropic of Cancer gets our vote.
The only complaints we had were the lack of soap in the two showers, not enough wash cloths and hardly any toilet paper for the first day. We found the caretaker, Mr Miller, to be quite rude and defensive upon our arrival. Not at all what we expected from previous reviews. He was just downright creepy. He would show up every morning and sometimes at night and make sure he came in the house. With that said, he did provide us with what we needed after he had spoken with the property owner.
This is a beautiful property on a gorgeous beach!! Don’t hesitate to pick this one!

Blissful stay at Celeste Beach house
I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Celeste Beach House. The home is absolutely beautiful, and the location on The Tropic of Cancer Beach is pristine. If you’re looking for an amazing getaway and glorious beach time away from the crowds, this is your place!

Beautiful home in Paradise!
We were so happy with our choice and couldn't ask for a better place to spend our vacation. The furnishings and kitchenware were top notch. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. The layout was very comfortable, the views were awesome. We were very impressed. It was difficult to leave such a beautiful place. Mr. Miller (the caretaker) was very helpful and accommodating. We vacationed with two other couples and all of us would love to come back and stay here again. Perfect weather, perfect home. We highly recommend.

Beautiful home in paradise!
We just arrived home from staying a week in this beautiful beach house & I cannot think of one negative thing to say about the property. Mr. Miller & his wife are the caretakers & treated us like family from the moment we met. Sarah made the booking process so easy & even moved her family vacation so that we could stay there. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, & we found the kitchen to have more than enough cookware and utensils as we did a lot of cooking. The AC worked great, keeping the house very cool. There was a nice grill on the property & cooked our locally purchased grouper perfectly! The only bad part was when our vacation came to an end. We cannot wait to go back to Exuma and we will definitely be staying in Celeste again (if Sarah will have us)!

Perfect Stay
Gorgeous property at my favorite location - right on Tropic of Cancer Beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessities. The home has plenty of beach chairs and loungers, which are very important to me. The home also had coolers and other beach toys and equipment. Mr. Miller is an excellent caretaker and came by each day to see us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We are planning a return trip soon!

Perfect house with Amazing Virws!
I always stress over picking the perfect house for our vacation. We couldn’t have been happier with our pick for our home for a week in paradise. The house is nicely
Updated and perfect for two couples as the bedrooms (each with own bath) are on opposite sides of the living/kitchen area. And the beds are super comfy! Perfectly located for going out to dinner at our two favorite restaurants (Tropic Breezes and Santana’s). The amazing view can be seen from both bedrooms and the living area! A short walk down a sandy path leads to Tropic of Cancer beach which is byfar the nicest beach onthe island. We rarely had more than two people walk past our home on a daily basis. 4 nice lounge chairs sit right at the beach just waiting for some cold Kaliks and a perfect afternoon. We would definitely rent this home again. Sarah was always responsive and easy to deal
With and the house manager and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
