The views were absolutely gorgeous. The host answered all our questions and we didn't lack for a thing. We would stay there again!

Lorenzo was an amazing host that manages a beautiful and very clean house. Everything we needed was at our disposal. The rooms were big and the bathrooms very clean and updated. Having a washing machine with children and lots of hot days made our stay like we were at home. The views were amazing and to have the bud stop in front of the villa made it all the better.
Grazie Mille!!!

This property is indeed your "home" in Sorrento! The host Lorenzo makes sure you have everything you need for your stay. The villa was well stocked with breakfast goods and other food to get your holiday off to a great start. The property is amazing! Beautiful gardens to enjoy and the rooftop views of the Bay and Mt. Vesuvius are breathtaking! There is a bus stop at the entrance to the villa which makes traveling to town so easy. You can walk to town if you wish, but we enjoyed using the local bus system. The villa is ideal for visiting the Sorrento & Amalfi coast areas. We stayed for the month of July and it was hot and humid in this region. But it was so nice to return to the air-conditioned villa to relax. Lorenzo was so nice and took such good care of the property and our needs. I do need to add that the property is located on a busy street and there is road noise. We found that the other benefits of the villa far outweighed this downside. If you are staying in Sorrento, I highly recommend this property!

Better than expected. Beautiful grounds. The rooftop terrace and the patio outside the rooms are gorgeous. The location was fantastic with restaurants nearby. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They speak English very well if that’s important to you. Everything was great right down to their local restaurant recommendations.
I will stay here again if in Sorrento.

Massimo & Laura were amazing hosts!!! They welcomed us with open arms & made us feel like family. We even spent an evening with them on the terrace watching the sunset. The house is beautiful as well as the garden & the view! Very clean & comfortable. Perfect location & the bus picks you up right outside the door. My cousin & I would highly highly recommend the home & hosts. Thank you for the memories!!! ❤️

Great views from rooftop terrace, wonderful hosts.

We were there for only a short two night stay but were able to spend time on Capri, a whole day driving the Almafi coast and dinner in Sorrento. All were great experiences and this place (be sure you have the two 'names' for this place handy...Villa L'Ulivina AND Villa Golconda, it can be confusing when using the map on the VRBO site versus the actual address of Via Capo 68). Wish we had been able to spend three nights to see more of Sorrento itself. Ratings are self explanatory but like other places in Italy, be prepared for only one towel per person to be provided (and maybe bring a compact portable shower caddie).

We loved staying at our villa. Bit was very clean and spacious, with great views and a reasonable walk to town

Loved this apartment! Roomy with lots of extras. Easy walk to town center. Very clean! Nice kitchen, lovely garden and views. On road but very quiet with doors closed at night. Must be willing to walk into town (a short distance) or a bus stop is just outside the door. We LOVED IT!

We enjoyed spectacular views from the spacious, rooftop patio furnished with a large table and benches - great for meals and casual gatherings. We also enjoyed the flower garden and lush landscaping surrounding the house including another patio furnished with a large glass top table and chairs. Inside we cooked in a well equipped kitchen, relaxed in spacious well furnished rooms with marble floors and tiled bathrooms updated with fine plumbing and facilities. Plenty of hot water, a security front gate and solid windows and sliding doors provide a nice sense of comfort and security. Located on Via Capo that leads directly into the town of Sorrento, the home offers easy access to sidewalks and lookouts over the Gulf of Naples. Without a car we had no problem shopping, dining out and taking daily trips to the town of Sorrento. Our host communicated clearly and politely from initial booking to check in and check out. Household instructions were also clear and easy to follow. The owners take great pride in their beautiful home which provides a resort-like experience. I and my family would stay at this home anytime we visit Sorrento. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing property and location. Walked to port for ferry to Capri. Bus outside villa to go everywhere. Lorenzo was perfect host.

Sorrento was our last stop on our trip to Italy. This place was perfect to help us unwind and relax from the city living. It is very spacious and charming with unique tile and furniture. The patio outside our place was large and gave great views. We came in April so I can only imagine how beautiful it will be when everything is blossoming. You can also go up to the 3rd level patio that is shown in the pictures. There is a table up there where we played cards with a view of Mt. Vesuvius and watched the sunset. Perfect! There is a crazy winding road that you can take to the town. It is intimidating but everyone walks it and you make it down alive. Hahaha. It is 10 minutes to a delicious family owned restaurant and then another 8 minutes to get into the rest of the town. The only complaint is that the beds were a little hard. I forgot to mention that the owners also leave so many breakfast items and delicious cookies. It really was a nice place to stay!

Very beautiful view looking down to the Gulf of Napoli. Sorrento is a great place to stay, very central to may sites. Pompeii ruins, Amalfi coast and drive through mountain villages. It was early march, so no fun on the Gulf. There is a ferry to Capri close but weather was not favorable. Lorenzzo is the best host

The property and house are beautiful!
Laura and Massimo are wonderful hosts and their son was also very helpful.
We arrived later than expected and restaurants had closed, so they had some cold cuts, cheese and eggs for us to eat, which was so appreciated!
Having the breakfast foods included was great and the coffee, fantastic!
The view from the terrace was as advertised, a lovely place for an evening cocktail.
It’s on a busy and somewhat noisy road, so you needed to be careful when walking, but it was doable and easy to get into town.
A lovely place to stay overall.

Villa Golconda's interior was more than charming and had all the necessary accouterments. And, imagine our unexpected delight at discovering that the fridge and cupboard were stocked with necessaries to get us started after a long day of travel along the Amalfi Coast. The true test of a vacation rental villa is location, location, location. For prospective guests, note that the primary picture on the VRBO page with the hanging star ornament was not the view from our patio table but from our hosts on the floor above us. With that said, the view from the villas rooftop terrace was spectacular, and we enjoyed the sunsets. We also got plenty of exercise walking into town up and down the highly trafficked Via Capo hill right outside the Villa's entry. Bottom line, the true comfort of our stay in Sorrento was ensured by our conscientious hosts who we will be forever grateful as they went over and above the call of duty to assist one of our travelers with a serious health condition.
Grazie Mille.

Beautiful Villa
Hosts were very attentive
Amazing welcome pack
Drove us to the railway station when we left
Room tax charged for under occupancy in double rooms which we weren’t aware of otherwise a perfect stay

Lovely home, great location. We truly enjoyed our week here. Villa Golconda is as described, with plenty of space to relax and a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. The hosts provided coffee and breakfast items, which were greatly appreciated! The home is a short walk to town, and the bus stop is right in front of the house, so transport was never an issue. I would highly recommend staying here.

The location is convenient and the view amazing
The one suggestion I have is have ice available or ice trays. Americans love ice

My wife and I had the most exceptional experience. The family was so warm and generous and made us feel right at home. The gardens are gorgeous, the view of Vesuvious is breathtaking, and the home is spotless and comfortable. The nearby Ristorante Verdemare is excellent. Amazing seafood and pizza, and it's only a 3-4 minute walk. This was one of the most hospitable and relaxing places we stayed on our 18 day trip through Italy. Sorrento is beautiful and has just the right size population to have great restaurants and shops in town, but no be too overwhelming and packed with tourtists. We love Sorrento and hope to return.

The location of the villa is perfect for a stay in Sorrento! The villa was clean and had everything we needed. The host even provided breakfast food complete with milk for coffee in the fridge…very much appreciated. If you have a car the parking is very convenient. Highly recommend!

This was the best vrbo ever. Hosts were extremely nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The patio and garden was amazing! Has inspired me to go home and do some yard work. Excellent!
4.0 / 5.0
The property is extremely clean and well kept. It is spacious and has most amenities. Property manager is attentive and responsive.
However, the view you see on VRBO is NOT what you see from the terrace. It does not overlook the water as advertised. No microwave in kitchen. Room temperature did not seem to work. One shower is barely usable. But was comfortable and met basic needs. House is on main road and walking can be scetchy.
I would attach a picture of actual view if I could.

The villa was very clean, the host was very personable. Overall the place is great! However, the beds were very hard and in need of some good pillows. The pillows were very flat and lumpy, takes two and half to make one hard lumpy pillow.
That is the only thing, that I I can complain about.

The property was exactly what is listed. A nice walk to town for dinner and pick up for tours was very close by.

Staying here was like having an adorable place of our own in Sorrento, if only for a short time. We were two couples travelling together, and it was perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed the spacious indoor and gorgeous outdoor spaces every day. Our hosts were so attentive and generous! They thought of our every need! Will definitely return to Villa Golconda again! Grazie!

Laura and Massimo’s villa was fabulous in every way. The location is great for enjoying all that Sorrento has to offer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the gardens are beautiful.
It’s a short walk into the city along a fairly busy road, but we quickly got used to it and saw that many other visitors walk the same way every day.
Laura and Massimo were very helpful - both in planning our stay, and then giving us great information and assistance once we arrived. They are delightful and friendly hosts, and will do everything they can to help you enjoy your stay.
We would love to return to Sorrento, and would love to stay at their Villa again!

We loved our stay in Sorrento at your villa. Lorenzo was wonderful in helping us with parking, our bags and other information about the area. Thank you so much for everything you left for us, outstanding Lemoncello and other items as we were not familiar with any shops close by. We would love to visit atain.

Beautiful home in Sorrento
We absolutely enjoyed our 4-day stay at Laura, Massimo, and Lorenzo’s gorgeous home in Sorrento. They were the most gracious hosts; check-in and check-out were so smooth and they also left some treats for us in the kitchen to enjoy. The house had everything we needed — the four of us were very comfortable in the three bedrooms and the two bathrooms had all of the necessities. The patio was an enchanting place to sit and eat while enjoying the Sorrento sea breeze. We are already planning on staying again the next time we go to the Sorrento area.

Sorrento Paradise
Spacious, extremely comfortable and clean with wonderful garden to enjoy.. Every attention has been paid to detail. But the best of all are the very wonderful and accommodating hosts. Laura, Massimo and Lorenzo who welcomed us so graciously. We loved Sorrento but mostly because our hosts made our stay such a pleasure.

Great place, good location
Massimo and Laura are great hosts. Full of ideas and helpful hints if you need them. Also, they check on the place daily to make sure their guests have what they need, empty the garbage if needed, etc. The place is very clean and comfortable. It is also conveniently located 10-15 minute walk from the city center of Sorrento, the perfect walk after a full Italian dinner. The only slight downside of is that it sits right on the main road so there is a bit of noise. The good news is that the bus stop is literally right outside the gate to the property. Overall, great place with a good location..

Perfect location and amazing hosts
My family and I had the most perfect location. The location was spectacular and it was so cozy with attention to detail. A real Italian getaway. Laura and Mossimo had wine, lemoncello, champagne, and delicious snacks. They recommended a restaurant that turned out to be the most delicious meal I had in Italy over 10 days. We will definitely be back. Sorrento is a beautiful city.

Sorrento villa
This is a really nice Villa with good quality building, interior deccor and facilities. It was very hot in August, but there is aircon in the bedrooms and a lovely shaded patio to sit out for eating and drinking, with olive trees and beautiful flowers.
There is a rooftop area to sit and take in the amazing views over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius.
The only negative is the busy road and noise from traffic. But it is to be expected for the area in high season. It was not easy to find the Villa, but our host 'Lorrenzo' was a great help in many ways, with good advice on the area. Although the family are above, you would hardly know it and we were afforded good privacy.
We had a hire car to visit the wider area and was able to park it securely in the basement garage. This was tricky as driving in Italy is not for the feint hearted. So if your just visiting Sorrento, it's a good location and just a short walk to the centre or take the bus.
Thank you for a nice stay. Regards Nikola

Great apartment and terrace just 10 min walk out of town
Lovely people, we were picked up from the station and returned there . Lots of information given on the busses (remember to buy tickets at Tabaccoria/station before getting on) and ferries. Everything you need is in the apartment. There is use of the beach for the hotel opposite a few hundred yards. What a fabulous stay. Hope you enjoy yours.
