Great location, lovely room.
The unpaved driveway, full of water filled holes. Too small mirror in bathroom. nothing in shower to put anything on.
4.0
It would have been reasonable to mention the amount of building work and vehicles on site at the time of booking.
The furnishings are old and tired and not in keeping with the price charged.

Beautiful location, friendly hosts, perfect English breakfasts made fresh.
7.0
Location was easy walking distance to village, well equipped apartment, good breakfast.
Some of lights in bathroom weren’t working, difficult to find as sign had broken off, parking quite tight.
3.0
good breakfast
Not suitable for business trips, as the host refuses to issue an invoice. I have explicitly asked booking.com and he is actually obliged to do so but he just did not respond to my mails anymore.

Janina personalised our breakfast each morning and was cheerful and friendly, making our stay very comfortable.

Good breakfast.
Pleasant aspect from double room and balcony terrace.
There was no one to greet us when we arrived at our stated arrival time. We tried phoning the landline without luck. We waited for about 20 minutes before the host arrived. She seemed surprised to see us but was apologetic.

Beautiful house very close to the centre of Painswick.
Breakfast was great - plentiful and delicious. Both a fruit salad and an English cooked breakfast are made to order, daily.
Staff are lovely and can make good recommendations regarding what to see and do, locally.
There is a resident dog, too, called Boo, who is lovely.

The parking was a great bonus in a fairly congested town.
Our bedroom was spotless, comfortable with everything we could possibly need, and a lovely view from the balcony/terrace.
Beautiful fresh fruit salad each morning with plenty of choice in the cooked breakfast.
Greeted warmly and made to feel at home and welcome
A sign at the end of the drive would have helped on arrival.

Lovely, helpful and friendly owners. Gorgeous location.
Tv was a bit clunky, smart TV would be nice. Shower a bit temperemental took a long time to get hot, then to hot, then temperature control gets stuck. Main lights not working, sink plugs didn't seem to work either. No parking available.

The thoughtfulness and care shown by the hosts was gratifying. I was impressed by the warmth and consideration shown to my partner by the Proprieter on arrival after a difficult journey. A true gentleman indeed.
I would like perhaps to visit again, now we know how to find the village! An exceptional place. We came to visit the Roccoco Garden and fell in love with the town.

super friendly staff. great breakfast. close to Rococo Gardens.
the bathroom was seperate in the hallway, even though only used by us.

The breakfast was great on both days. The Annex type area we used on the property was roomy and had all the mod-cons you would expect. The location was spot on for us as we were down for a wedding and to see family. Richard (the host), was a great chap and made us feel at home and was very accommodating - A+
My only comment, which was small, but significant, would be as the property is in a rural location, it was noticeable a few cob webs were viewable and all it would take is to get someone to go around and give it a 'once over'.

Beautiful, quiet location. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds and added bonus, a deer.
Janina, the manager is wonderful, nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was delicious.
Would have liked tea and coffee and kettle in room .

The king studio was a really nice place with everything you need. The owner was very nice and helpful and our dog was made very welcome.
The narrow roads in Painswick and drive way in but you get used to it.

Great location in a beautiful area. Clean and comfortable room and bed was comfy. Friendly and helpful hosts.
Lovely breakfast . Close to amenities..Dog friendly.
Would definately return.😉
Perhaps the Tibberwell lodge sign could have been at the entrance although there is a b&b sign.
Outdoor area will be better once the guest seating area is complete as it is a work in progress although this did not affect our stay

view from balcony is superb

Lovely view; spacious car parking; spacious room; friendly staff; nice fresh fruit at breakfast; close to centre of Painswick.
No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. This seems very unusual. These items were available downstairs in the breakfast room.
No specific vegetarian or vegan cooked breakfast menu - just had to choose non-meat items with no offer of extra items.
Very communal breakfast arrangement - no option of a separate table.
Self-service tea and toast. It would have been good to have a pot of tea and toast on table.

I suppose what I enjoyed the most about our experience at Tibbiwell Lodge was the slightly quirky nature of the place, which actually made it very easy to settle into the house as if it were our own. Richard and Janina were helpful and clearly cared that our needs were met while we stayed at the Lodge. Breakfast was a very enjoyable communal event, and always included Boo the dog - I hope I have spelt her name correctly! The beds were very comfortable
The bathroom (which was separate from the bedroom but was not shared with anyone else, so it was "our" bathroom) was, however, rather cramped and there was limited space to move around in and store all the things everyone stores in bathrooms - toothbrushes, razors, deodorant, etc, etc. If I had been travelling on my own, it probably would not have mattered much, but because I was with my disabled son it was bit awkward. But I must stress that this did not spoil our holiday.
