4.0 / 10.0
This house is in a great location-- walkable to the resort's pools, quiet, surrounded by trees. The house itself is clean.
That said, the property is clearly not well-cared-for. Blinds in multiple rooms do not open/close correctly. The carpet is stained and worn. The chairs around the dining room table on the back deck are mismatched and in various stages of disrepair, including completely broken down. Lighting is inadequate throughout the house. The landscaping/tree trimming is poor. One of the two grills is so rusted as to be unusable.
The front door deadbolt did not work when we arrived, which was a safety issue. The property management company responded promptly and replaced it (they were great) but of course they cannot replace broken furniture or install functional window blinds without owner authorization. There's only so much they can do.
We will absolutely stay at Spring Brook again-- the pools are great, the golf course looks nice, and it's convenient to the Dells. However, we will not stay in this property unless significant changes/updates are made. It's clear from previous reviews that many of the issues have been ongoing for quite a while, and despite renter feedback have not been corrected. It's a shame.

We enjoyed the stay very much. It is located in a very calm, quiet area with lots of woods.
Highly recommend!

The location was good for us because it was close to the rest of our family staying in another location close by. It was adequate for our needs, but left some things to be desired. The master bedroom was nice, but the other bedrooms were small. The furniture in the living room was old and too big for the space available. The dining room table was chipped and has seen better days. Some of the horizontal blinds didn't work correctly and the vertical blind in the kitchen was missing 3/4 of the slats.
In the kitchen, there were no food items of any kind including salt and pepper. You need to bring absolutely everything food-wise with you. The kitchen sink faucet handle was not affixed correctly (missing a screw?). Also there is no ice maker or even plastic molds for ice. Additionally there were only two dishtowels, but we were required to manually wash, dry and put away the dishes the morning of check out rather than putting the dishes in the dishwasher.
The lighting in the house is not great. There were only two table lamps for the living room and two table lamps in the master bedroom. The was an overhead light in the master bedroom ceiling fan, but it didn't work. The kitchen was not well lit either.
In the master bedroom there were 2 rolls of toilet paper, but no spindle on which to install the toilet paper.
When I wanted to play a DVD for the kids, I found there were no instructions in how to operate sound system with the TV and the DVD player remote had no batteries in it.
Of the few chairs on the back deck, most were broken in one way or another. The two outdoor grills are charcoal only and you need to bring your own charcoal, starter fluid and matches. One of the grills is half rusted. We didn't use the small firepit because we would have had to go out and get our own wood for that as well.

Great but not spectacular
This was a great place. It suited our needs of 4 kids and 2 adults. Positive things were great beds, tv in each room, jet tub was awesome, great deck, fire pit was nice, and house stayed very cool. It could use some updates like new toilets, bigger TV’s, gas grill, new dining room table, shades that actually cover the windows, bedroom doors that lock, etc. Overall it was pretty average but nice enough. Only having two bathrooms and everyone on 1 floor would definitely not suit 12 people.

Great stay
Perfect property for our group of two families. Space for everyone and close to all of the fun in the Dells.

Girls weekend
We had 8 females ranging from 21-79. We had a wonderful time together. All bedrooms were filled with mother daughter groups. Nice open kitchen, eating and living area so we could spread out but be together. Suggestion to add scissors and sharper knives.

Family fun
The house was great and having access to the pool was a blast! We spent the weekend skiing and coming back to the house was a great way to relax, play games, and enjoy the hot tub!

Family Getaway
Loved having a separate bedroom for all. The two baths and the two living rooms were wonderful. Never felt crowded. Loved the firepit but never got to use it as it was extremely hot outside. Great size kitchen. Lots of eating space.
Some of the deck and firepit chairs need to be replaced.
Front porch with chairs was so fun to sit on and watch the birds. All loved the pool. Great to be able to order food and drink poolside. Poolside entertainment was fun. Would book again.

As described
Did you get why you see it is accurately described. We had a good time it was close to the dells downtown area. It was close to other things we were doing in the area had a couple of good perks such as indoor pool. My kids loved it adults loved. Will return next year.

Family Vacation
It was clean and well cared for. I was surprised to find out that it was on a Resort. The only improvements I would make would be the kitchen could have had some sharp knifes to cut with, pot holders and towels for doing dishes. There were no hangers to be found anywhere and the master bedroom didn't really have any dressers.

Nice place, nice area, our group enjoyed the weekend!
The pool and hot tub at The Springbrook clubhouse was a nice option rather than going to a waterpark to be able to swim. Also the food and service at the bar and grill was awesome!

Wonderful Stay
The only complaint we had was that despite calling us and asking what time we would be arriving, our house wasn't ready for us when we arrived (at the time we said we would). The staff was very apologetic, and did their best to communicate to us how much longer it would be. It was just frustrating with 3 small kids and food in coolers to have to wait an extra 45 minutes to get into our unit.
The unit itself was great. Very clean, the four bedrooms were small, but the beds were comfortable. There are two sitting areas in the house which was awesome for traveling with kids - they took over one and the adults could sit peacefully in the other.
The location can't be beat, it's peaceful and quiet and just minutes from all of the attractions of the Dells. We would definitely come back next year!

Enjoyable stay for golf lovers!
My group of 4 guys liked this stay right off the 9th hold tee off. There are a lot of great golf courses in the area to play on at basically all levels of skill. You can also play as much gold as you want for 3 days on the 9 hole course by the house for just 50$ each if you don't mind doing that course several times over. Everything worked in the house except for one remote for one of the 5 TV's in the house.

Nice house
Spring Brook is great. Loved the pool and bar.
House was nice. We loved it there
My only complain is the terrible WiFi. For some reason the cellular network was spotty and the WiFi was even worse.
Would go again

Quiet, spacious, clean
If you enjoy the outdoors, but promised a waterpark to the kids, then this is for you. Ca 15 minutes drive to Chula Vista waterpark, maybe 20 minutes to the Wilderness Resort or Kalahari, less than 10 minutes to downtown Wisconsin Dells. Outdoor playground, small indoor pool at the reception area/Spring Brook Lodge. One of a large number of cabins tucked into the woods around the golf course that are centrally managed. No noise except from our own kids.
