About this cottage rental

Sole is a 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage at iL Sognatore, that can sleep up to 8 people. This unique, delightful home has a private balcony, with a hammock, surrounded by grape vines and a lovely view of the garden. There's Italian rustic style inspired kitchen, with everything you need and a living space with TV and WiFi. You can appreciate detailed "old world" handmade woodwork in every corner, while you take in the breeze of the serene tropical landscape. iL Sognatore is peaceful, has safe easy parking inside the compound and it is conveniently located close to the airport and the best beaches in Aguadilla and Isabela.

Sole was recently restructured house with two bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a double size bunk bed. There's a futon in the living room where you could accommodate 2 extra guests when needed and the back of the house offers an outdoor shower as well.

Sleeping Arrangements:
- Bedroom #1 with a Queen Bed
- Bedroom #2 with a Double Bunk Bed
- Living Room with a futon bed

Other things to note:

- Flight arriving at BQN airport from 1 AM to 3 AM. We'll welcome you at anytime. Remember to book the night before your arrival to secure early check in.

- There is a water rationing in place for the NW of Puerto Rico. il Sognatore has 1200 gallon cistern when city water is turned off. There is plenty of hot water and water pressure even on the off days, but we ask guest to be mindful of their water usage during the off times.

- The host offers private surf lessons, snorkeling tours, and spearfishing.

House was just as described, very clean, cozy and felt very safe. Host lives next door and is super friendly! Loved the artwork in the house and beautiful landscaping on the outside! Would return! Easy access to airport, downtown Aguadilla and crash boat beach!!

Il Songatore is such a special place. My family felt welcomed, cared for and right at home. The host family have created an idyllic little community of accommodations surrounded by gorgeous gardens full of fruit trees and flowering plants. My children played so happily with the children next door, we all loved our time here and will definitely come back if we return to the Aguadilla area. So quiet and quaint and peaceful.

My stay at il Sognatore was great. I enjoyed my stay. I appreciated the attention to detail in tasteful decorating outdoors and indoors. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. With the exception of one day I needed to sleep in and the construction noise woke me up. It's an easy commute from the airport. From the minute I opened the sliding doors onto the premises, I was enchanted. The atmosphere serene and I just fell in love with the attentive, small canine greeters who welcomed me at the porch. I would stay again without hesitation.

This was such a beautiful property. It was clean and spacious. The property was gorgeous and i can not say enough about it. The shower had cold and hot water. The bedroom had a great AC. The loving area was smal but perfect fpr our stay. The front porch was peefect with the hammock. We went in April 2023 and there was a nice breeze in the evenings. The property has private parking which qas a huge plus for us. My one and half year old loved the space in the front of tje property as she did alot of qalking around. My 10 year old enjoy the cottage hammock and living space. We had suxh a great stay. Thank you to the owners for keeping this place beautiful and available.

The house was beautifully decorated, and Mr. Fausto and his family were very nice. The doggos were very friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and at night, the Coquis would serenade. I would stay here again, the location is accessible to everything, literally 5 minutes away to crash boat beach.

This artistic hideaway was created in such a way as to pull us back from our touring to spend time in the hammock and read a book. The only suggestions I would offer Is that there were linens and supplies listed as in the house, but missing that I had to keep asking for. Fabio was very responsive but I didn’t like asking. I would come again anyway.

We loved our stay here. Fabio, the owner and his family live right next-door. Our bungalow was small but adorable. The only thing we would recommend is a few more amenities. More towels washcloths a broom. The option of a blanket. We never could get the Wi-Fi to work and emailing Fábio did not work either. The language barrier was evident. We could’ve persisted a little harder in person, but it didn’t matter that much to us. Just hoping that this review is helpful to Fabio and possibly the next renters.

Had a great stay . The grounds are clean and quiet. The house was the perfect set up and secure. Fabio (owner manager) is on-site and super chill and helpful. We normally stay on-base , but this is going to be our new go-to spot going forward. Close to the airport, close to town, close to surf. What more does one need!?

Stayed for 4 nights, real inviting atmosphere, friendly couple. Didn’t spend too much time here during the days, have family that lives on the island, spent most of our time out exploring, so we were only pretty much there for sleep. Would definitely recommend IL Sognatore, would most definitely stay there again when a future trip is planned!

Fabio was a great host. Communication was great and their place was spotless. the home was not far from the beaches and Coffee shop which made day trips easy. Any guest would be lucky to book this place. We Enjoyed our stay 10/10

First of all, check in was easy and smooth and the location is easy to find. I love that it was gated and that we have a parking spot available. The house has the tropical island vibe we are looking for and we felt at home right away. The house is tastefully decorated and the hammock is a plus. The outside garden around the property is beautiful and the owner's dogs are always so welcoming whenever they see us. Lastly, Fabio and his family are great hosts!

All I can say is wow !! The photos of the property do it no justice !! It’s beyond beautiful!! The owner Fabio, his two dogs Johnny and Josh are amazing hosts. You feel welcomed when you come into the property you feel safe knowing people who care are around you. They also have a family who rent and wow they are amazing people as well. my three children enjoyed playing soccer on the grass with the other children. The dogs and roosters made it feel like home. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you

We stayed here for 3 weeks. Owner and wife very focused on our needs and friendly. Area is very quiet. Many places to eat. To me there is no comparison between this lodging and a big hotel. We felt at home. Highly recommended.
