We were expecting the villa to be good but it was even better than the pictures suggested. It was a super hot week so we stayed at the house and spent a lot of time in the large pool. There was so much for everyone to do (we had seven children under the age of 25!) - we had our own Olympics - swimming pool games, boules, pool table, table football and table tennis. Not a single complaint, it was a perfect week. Thanks to Liz and Carmel, they could not be more helpful. Best Paul

Very enjoyable

Probably the nicest and best equipped villa that we’ve stayed at in many years of visiting the south of France. Great location only an easy 5 minute walk into the village and a short drive to the beach. Plan de la Tour itself was the perfect location for us to explore the area. We would definitely return both to this wonderful villa and to Plan de la Tour.

We just returned from a very special week long stay at La Bastide in the beautiful town of Plan de la Tour. We were two families (4 adults and 5 children) and the house was nothing but perfect! Not a detail was overlooked and we had everything we needed for our stay. The pool, the rooms, the decor-it was all we could have imagined and more. Special thanks to Carmel the house manager for her guidance and recommendations. The village is a very short 10 minute and breathtaking walk from the house. And the beach is a short 20 minute drive to Saint Maxime with tons of restaurants and beach clubs. We did not want to leave and can’t wait for our next return to this amazing property!

Hi Liz.
Your property is absolutely fantastic and we all had a great time. Plan de La Tour is as how we remembered it and it was great to visit some of the old restaurants ( La Tour du Plan) and coffee shops. It was a pity that Le 19 had closed down but we we were well looked after by the staff from Le Cafe next door. L’Amiral In Sainte Maxime was also excellent and I would add this to your list of restaurants. Easy to get to, well priced, great food, staff are first class and the views are amazing. Lastly, please pass on my thanks to Carmel who looked after us superbly and sorted out a couple of issues very quickly indeed. Iain.

Wonderful
Everything about our holiday at the Bastide des Oliviers was wonderful! It is a beautiful property on the edge of a pretty village , overlooking vineyards on one side but an easy 10 minute walk to bakeries/cafes/ bars and restaurants. The house itself is lovely, it was immaculately clean, and had everything you might need for a relaxing holiday. The owners were incredibly efficient throughout the booking process , giving us lots of very helpful information including navigating the current travel regulations. Thank you Liz and Ken, and Carmel, we had such a happy week with our family and would highly recommend it to anyone else thinking of booking!

A perfect villa
This was our second stay in this gorgeous villa - everything was still as perfect as we remembered. Beautiful views of the vineyard, very well equipped villa, exceptional garden & pool. Very easy to walk into the village for croissants or dinner (easy walk for kids) and 15 mins from Nartelle Beach with good beach clubs. We felt very lucky to spend a week here after lockdown and hope to come back next year!

Superb property for family holiday with easy access to coast
This property has everything you need and quite a lot more for an unforgettable holiday - the owners seem to have thought of everything. Air conditioning was a boon in the unprecedented June heatwave. The house is spacious and airy. The outside spaces thoughtfully designed for outdoor living and the pool is superb. By far the best place we have stayed. Best of all is the location. A short walk to a divine village with all amenities and a different restaurant for every day of the week. Plus easy access to the coast and Provence. The photos and reviews of this place look and sound superb - but honestly in reality it’s even better - simply stunning. Whether you want to sip coffee on a cool morning on the terrace listening to hoopoes, orioles and warblers serenade you, loiter by the pool in glorious sunshine, read in the shade or take on your offspring at boules, table tennis and table football or fire up the massive BBQ this property has it all. Plus a short walk to the village, and to cap it all easy access to St Maxime and the coast roads. And more bracing country roads to St Tropez and Port Grimaud and the interior dotted with excellent wine domains, pretty village and tempting restaurants. Our group ranged from 65 to 1 and I’m not sure we could have picked a better place for a family holiday in an idyllic part of France we love.

Wonderful villa, well equipped and very spacious
We spent a week in Plan de la Tour and had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous villa. The rooms were all very spacious and pristine on our arrival. The kitchen was extremely well equipped - with plastic dishes (for children). The swimming pool and outdoor area suited us well, we spent lots of time with the children splashing around. We visited a couple of the local beaches (driving distance) and took advantage of the nice restaurants in town (walking distance). The local market was also worth a visit. Great hosts and would love to return.

Le Plan de la Tour.
We found this to be a superb property and thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay. Some of the time we were content to enjoy the first-class accommodation and facilities, including the swimming pool, barbecue and comfortable living space. At other times we were happy to stroll into the nearby village to visit the busy market, shops and the excellent restaurants. We heartily recommend everything about this lovely property.

A beautiful property in a wonderful location.
The house and grounds are very luxurious but the villa also feels very cosy. There is so much to do at the villa; swimming, table tennis, boules that we actually spent several days "at home" which was incredibly relaxing. The village nearby is lovely, very French, and has everything that you need and we also went to Saint-Tropez and explored the local area which is equally beautiful . Overall a peaceful, relaxing and beautiful villa.

Wow!
This is a return journey and, for me, it is better than can be described or how I remember it. The house, the garden, the pool, the views, the tranquility - wow! The manager meeting us as we arrived was brilliant and the maintenance of everything flawless. More unique and brilliant memories made in the market in St Tropez, a relaxing lunch at a local beach club with a dip in the sea to finish the afternoon, evening spent playing boules, table football and table tennis and of course sitting around both the pool and the outside dining table enjoying the company of friends with some of the delicious local Rose.
A wonderful time in a wonderful place!

Expect your expectations to be exceeded!,
La Bastide is beautifully presented, fully equipped and ideally located - quietly nestling amid the olive trees and looking out over the vineyards to the hills beyond. If you can bear to tear yourself away from the poolside and barbecue, stroll into Le Plan to enjoy its restaurants, cafes and market, or even venture further afield to St.Tropez and its nearby hilltop villages.
I cannot recommend it more highly!

Beautiful, elegant home that caters for every need
What a wonderful holiday in this fabulous, welcoming property. The house is elegant, stylish and immaculate and the thoughtful owners have considered every need a holidaymaker might have with the contents.
Handily placed near the pretty village of Plan de la Tour, I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a little rest and luxury in the South of France.

The house is amazing, we absolutely loved it! :)
The attention to detail on the properly was remarkable, everything thought out to make our stay comfortable. We were 6 adults and 5 young kids, and adored the pool, the backyard and many game options, as well as the space and luxury of the house. It was such a treat, we highly recommend it! Thank you Liz and Ken :)

Beautiful, charming and immaculate
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. The house and garden are beautiful and immaculately kept. Stunning views over the vineyards and hills from the house, stylish and spacious rooms, good sized pool in lovely garden and plenty of outdoor entertainment including table tennis, pétanque and table football. Short and pleasant walk down small paths into the charming local village with a good range of small shops, restaurants and bustling weekly market. Perfection!Highly recommended.

Photography dosn’t Do it justice!
A pleasant surprise on arrival. Beautiful sunny day, the house looked stunning. Perfect for my family from around the world to unite for my 70th birthday. Although we spent most of the time outside the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable. We found the double beds in the two double rooms a little small but as my granddaughters had one each it was fine And ok for a couple but would be better twinned or zip & link. The master is enormous so too the upstairs main double. My son his wife and young grandson shared a further room. The kitchen and dining areas spacious, the kitchen extremely well equipped. I catered for additional visiting relatives one day with ease. We had a slight problem with bathroom lights which was sorted by Carmel the house manager. Carmel was delightful and extremely well informed ref the area. We enjoyed the village restaurants in particular The typically French restaurant the Vieux Moulin run by the wonderful , slightly eccentric Coco who also baked me a birthday cake. My husband organised a final celebration night at No 19 with friend staying locally which amazing. Topped off with champagne to celebrate my granddaughters GCSE results! Can’t wait to return.

Gorgeous villa close to the village center
This was our second visit to the villa and I Can’t recommend this villa enough. We stayed for a week at the beginning of July and there was plenty of room for our family of 8. The highlights of our week were a trip to St.Topez (take the ferry from Ste Maxine), visiting the beaches at La Nartelle and driving to the villages of La Garde Freinet and Grimaud.

A provencal looking villa beautifully refurbished
Our first impressions more than matched our expectations. This is a spacious house sympathetically remodelled. The outside area is a particular feature and our group of 10 including two young children were able to spread out and enjoy the facilities. We had a couple of rainy evenings but the covered outside areas enabled us to stay outside. Cocktails in the pool house and dinner adjacent to the kitchen.
We used a local chef; Linda Thomas, who created a lovely dinner for a special anniversary event.
Plan de la Tour village is a 15 minute walk and the location is perfect for exploring inland towns such as Grimaud and Ramatuelle and also serves as a refuge from the busier coastal areas.
We had a great time and the support from the owners was first class and we are grateful that we were able to stay in their lovely home.
