The lobby of the building is in need of serious maintenance but once inside the apt. it is clean and accurate to the photos. Keep in mind the shower is extremely small (reference I'm 5'7 123 lbs). The patio is large with great views.
It does seem that the management team doesn't communicate through VRBO so messages there weren't answered, or requests not followed through with-example an early check in request was made and approved in VRBO with my information showing check in/check out modified but the management team was not aware.

It was clean, it was not overloaded furnished, it has of course this wonderfull around-view including the ACROPOLIS - no big noise from the street down - really quiet for the center of Athens - and for me - an elderly woman a wonderful place to be. For younger people even better, because around are plenty of tavernes, Coffeeshops and and......! I will come back next year for a longer stay!

Wonderful place to base your Athens adventure
We found ourselves in Athens over the Greek Orthodox Easter. It was quite special, especially the fireworks at midnight on Saturday, seen from the balcony. Don't be concerned if you find yourself there at this time.
This flat has everything you need - location, safety, cleanliness. The balcony is terrific with half shade and half sun. The view of the Acropolis at nights is unforgettable. The flat isn't huge, but it has everything you need. Did I mention the balcony?
The management company was expert and very quick to answer any of my queries. I can highly recommend renting from them.
You would be hard pressed to find superior accommodation, IMHO.
