About this villa rental
The Tradewind Pavilion is a spectacular, fully appointed, Spanish/Caribbean style three bedroom, four bath/shower villa with air conditioning in all of the bedrooms.
The villa comprises multiple indoor/outdoor spaces from which to enjoy the colorful, Caribbean scenery and to stage your various vacation activities. The spaces are tastefully decorated in an eclectic "island traveler" style. The villa is designed to offer amazing views of the lush, green Grenada landscape; the shimmering, turqouise bays below and a natural connection with the outdoor environment from almost all indoor and outdoor spaces without compromising privacy, safety, and security.
Tradewind Pavilion's rooftop pavilion offers magnificent 360 degree views of the neighborhood, two nearby bays, lush mountaintops, and, of course, the Caribbean sea. The invigorating, tropical winds flowing through the pavilion will massage your body and spirit. The rooftop pavilion has comfortable built-in seating for up to 20 persons, dining set for up to eight persons, barbeque grill, wet bar, and sun tanning deck, all overlooking the beautiful, sparkling blue swimming pool.
The main level consists of a large kitchen, intimate living room and dining room in an open plan. These spaces have multiple french doors which open up fully to allow the ever-blowing ocean breezes to flow through the living spaces and include ceiling fans for absolute comfort. For your convenience, our kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, teapot, toaster, coffee maker, and all the kitchen utensils guests will need to prepare delicious meals. Fantastic views of the breathtaking, tropical surrounds and the gorgeous Caribbean sea can be had from anywhere in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. These indoor spaces are surrounded by wrap-around porches/verandahs and a swimming pool, all with various levels of coverings, designed to offer ideally comfortable outdoor spaces under differing weather conditions throughout the day. Gentle breezes will cool and caress your skin allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tropical and serene surroundings. Swimming, reading, listening to music, star-gazing, sipping on refreshing drinks, or just relaxing are among the many activities accommodated.
The three comfortable guest bedrooms and four bathrooms are located on the lower level. The master bedroom, named the Plumbago Room, is king bedded with ensuite bathroom/shower. The room offers full view of the sea, while relaxing in bed, through multiple French doors that open onto a relatively large covered porch. The Plumbago room also has direct access to a large outdoor-inspired bathroom with whirlpool tub, and two invigorating showers lined with river stones, sea coral, and even a seat made of fossilized ancient squid. The second bedroom, named the Reef Room, is double bedded with ensuite bathroom. The Reef Room is also fitted with multiple French doors that offer views of the coconut treed neighborhood beach, and luminescent reefs beyond, even while in bed. The Reef Room has a small covered porch with a lovely view. The third bedroom, named the Regatta Room, is queen bedded with ensuite bathroom. The Regatta Room is fitted with French doors that lead to its own small covered porch and onto the courtyard outside.
The ambiance of Tradewind Pavilion will take your breath away and hold you captive for the entire length of your stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the villa. The host communicated well and was ready and willing to answer any questions and quickly assist with any issues we had. The scenery from the lookout was terrific, and my family, especially my three grandsons, enjoyed the pool. Thanks for the mangos. I enjoyed them and wished I could have one right now.

Highly recommend this stay in lovely Grenada. Beautiful property on a hill great host. Kids loved the pool and we loved the views and breeze. Bring bug spray (for outdoors) And prepare for the heat! Thanks for everything Sharon!

We travelled as a family of 5 (Mum, Dad, 2 Grandparents and a 5 month old baby). The villa suited our needs perfectly as we are all reasonably fit however 2 spiral staircases - 1 leading to upstairs chilling area and 1 to downstairs bedrooms would not suit families with toddlers or older/infirm persons). We have been to the Caribbean many times and although not all facilities work as they do in the UK, the villa provided for our needs well and the kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils we needed. The owners were very attentive and responded to messages quickly, e.g. light bulbs not working, extra clean of the pool for the baby to use etc. The area was quiet and the views are spectacular. I read the previous review and we had no trouble whatsoever. There is a staircase to the side of the villa and some other tourists did wander up from lower villas but quickly turned back when they realised we were a private villa. Security is good from the road (locked entrance) and villa doors/windows are lockable which you would do anywhere when going out or to bed. There is a safe for valuables but not big enough for a laptop so we took ours out with us when visiting local sites. The only intruder we had was a frog in the outside bathroom which decided on a swim in the bath when the baby was in it lol!! Would I recommend this villa and would I come back - absolutely!

The owner verified he saw the intruder and instead of detaining him, chased him off the property and then called the police. The intruder was not apprehended. The property owner was argumentative when voiced our safety concerns. We did not sleep at all that night and did not feel safe sleeping there the second night, so we left that day and booked an alternative accommodation. My Aunt and Uncle were scheduled to join us at the property and they also did not feel safe sleeping there. The intruder seemed very familiar with the layout of the house, as he turned on the light switches that were located in inconspicuous locations and when we awoke to confront the intruder, I watched him walk up the spiral staircase and he turned off the lights when he got to the top of the stairs. The light switches are not located in an easily recognizable or accessible location on the opposite side of the entrance to the staircase, so it appears that he must have been familiar with the layout of the home.
This was an extremely traumatic experience to have an intruder enter our bedrooms while we were sleeping.
We are certainly due a refund after having our safety and security compromised while at this property. I contacted the property owner, who offered no refund, I contacted VRBO immediately and the telephone representative was indifferent and said there was nothing VRBO would do about a break in and that VRBO has no policy to ensure the safety and security of customers or provide refunds when safety issues arise.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained properly in a lovely, quiet but convenient location for exploring all that Grenada has to offer. The outdoor space is amazing, as are the views and Sharon and Anthon are wonderful hosts. The only negative we encountered was some issues with water supply due to a burst pipe but this is island life and Sharon and Anthon did their best to get it back on whenever we has an issue. Without this we would have given 5 stars!

Lovely hosts with great property
It is the nicest area on Grenada and the property has an old world Spanish influence. It is An eclectically furnished 3 story but it just adds to the charm. The hosts Sharon and Anthon are super and really friendly and helpful. Great stay for us.
