Gorgeous, Comfortable, Amazing View and Location

There was so much to love about this property! The property was new, beautifully furnished, in a great location with amazing view, and the host was extremely kind and responsive. The beds were very comfortable, A/C worked great, kitchen was stocked with appliances needed, loved the pool and sauna. It was convenient having a grocery store just down the road. The how provided recommendations for services in Makarska. Makarska was such a beautiful village! Checking in and out couldn’t have been easier and that was very much appreciated!

My child has severe allergies and while I could not pinpoint whether or not it was due to some dust or maybe the possibility a pet had stayed before he had some difficulty breathing and coughing. Rest assured the property was extremely clean and my child may have just been sensitive to the environment. The only thing to add is that we would have loved to have a starter coffee pack for the first morning.

Wonderful family holiday

Beautiful villa with great facilities. Plenty of space for two families. Great swimming pool and outside area. Host was so helpful answering questions during our stay. We had a great time.

The location was a little challenging at times. Taxis were expensive to get down the hills even though they weren’t far. Hiring a car was also pricey so it’s worth looking into this before booking.

Beautiful villa

The villa is very spacious,perfect for a group of friends. Everything was very clean,including the sauna and the pool. Our host was very kind and available for any questions.

Amazing villa

The vila has an amazing view. Everything is exactly as in photos. The kitchen is very well equipped and the villa has even a car garage. The pool water temperature was perfect due to the pool heater even if the outside temperature was around 20 degrees. The host is very responsive to everything we asked. Totally recommend it. The living room is very spacious and the sauna worth every dollar.

Lovely house with wonderful hosts

Mirna is the best host, so helpful and super sweet! She helped us with everything that we needed and even left us small gifts! The house is newly built, high standard, and has everything you need. Nice to have your own pool, outside shower, sauna, Small but ok gym and really comfortable beds. Good parking next to the house. Makashka is a good place to start if you want to explore more of the coast or inland (we had a car and went on excursions almost every day) - there is so much to see! The owners has a nice guide of nice restaurants and other useful tips to see in it around Makarska.

The location is right next to a road so you hear the cars passing by (day and night time, although not very heavy traffic). The road and the neighbours are close by so not much privacy by the pool or balconies. It’s also an area with a lot of construction so good to be aware there can be some noise during the days. Note that the view of makarska is somewhat blocked by other houses. You need a car (or a taxi) to get around and reach the house since it’s a steep and curvy road to get up to the house.

A very enjoyable 7 nights at a fabulous new villa on the Makarska riviera

Having spent 4 nights in Trogir and 5 nights in Splitska on the island of Brac we decided to spend our last 7 nights on the Makarska riviera at Villa MirA, which is a fabulous new modern style villa up in the hills of Makarska. The villa has 3 stunning bedrooms all of which are ensuite and each has a lovely balcony facing the sea. The largest bedroom also has its own separate dressing room and lounge area which has a sofa bed. The main lounge, kitchen and dining area are open plan and are bright and airy. On the ground floor there is a gym, a sauna, a further shower and a laundry room. Outside is a futher dining area with barbecue facilities with stunning views of the Biokovo mountains. The private pool is located at the front of the property along with a seating area and good sunbathing facilities which has wonderful views out to sea and over to the islands of Brac and Hvar. The views of the sun setting over Brac were outstanding. The villa was very easy find and has private parking facilities. The hosts ( Mirna and her husband Miljenko) made us feel very welcome and provided good recommendations on local restaurants and places to visit during our stay. They also kindly accommodated our requests regarding our arrival and departure times which were outside of the normal hours. The villa, which is finished to a very high standard, provided us with an excellent base for discovering the lovely towns that make up the Makarska riviera and of these we particularly enjoyed visiting Breda and Podgora. We would highly recommend the villa and we will definitely stay there again when we next return to the Makarska riviera.
