In a super convenient area so getting around was very easy, close to bus stops and the tram, the property was so clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment is in a good location with supermarkets close by and a pleasant walk into the old town over the Serranos bridge and through the old gate under the towers. The walk to and from the city can be varied using the Turia gardens and the various access points, we walked from the City of Arts and Science to the Neuvo Centre and Botanic gardens (not all in one journey). Thankfully the apartment was a quiet haven to rest and recover in after a full day pounding the pavements, galleries and museums and we were very comfortable. We slept really well on the very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding and appreciated the fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was a well equipped space and we enjoyed cooking some meals with ingredients bought locally.
The description is very accurate but does not convey the really comfortable and homely atmosphere of the apartment or the generous/friendly/helpful host’s. A great place to stay and one that we can truly recommend.

This apartment is in an ideal location – just outside the bustle of the old town, close to transportation and grocery stores, and an easy walk through the Serrano Gate into the town or along the Turia Park. Comfortable, well-equipped, in a quiet building, David’s apartment is just what we were looking for. He is an excellent host, friendly, quick to respond, and knowledgeable about the city. We were here for three weeks – this is highly recommended for a long stay. It came to feel like home - we will definitely be back here on our next trip to Valencia.

David was very good and quick at responding to our inquiries. The location of the apartment to the old town is very walkable.
The only draw back is that the bedrooms are small. The balcony and the amount of sun coming in to the living room is a big plus. The beautiful eucalyptus tree in front of the balcony gives a good amount of shade and is beautiful to look at.

A well equipped apartment in a residential building within a 6-7 minute walk from the city
Check in was very quick and efficient Malcolm the Co-host gave us lots of local advice
Extra heaters and blankets were provided for when the heating was not sufficient
A very vibrant city and great for a city break

We had a wonderful time. The only thing was the noise of the other people who lived in this big house. But unfortunately that’s normal for Spanish housing.

The apartment was in a great location for us. Easy and frequent transport links to where we wanted to get to. The Old Town/Torres de Serrano and Turia Park were for us a pleasant short walk away. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Supermarkets really close too. The apartment was decent with all that was needed for our stay of two weeks. The shower was a bit tricky to work out as it got hot and cold intermittently but eventually we got used to it. We found that the wi-fi signal was strong in the living room but kept dropping off when we were in the bedrooms. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here.

I spent 3 months at this location. It is very well located with he metro to the beach almost across the road and a short distance to Old City entrance.
The building is safe, clean and well maintained. The apartment is as advertised. Neighborhood is friendly and for the most part Spanish speaking only. There are plenty of places to eat or drink and much less costly than the old city.

We stayed for a short break . The apartment was exactly what we wanted. Great location walking distance to the old town and access to transport/ shops / restaurants etc. I read other reviews and the mention of noise from neighbours which there was some but to be honest it didn’t bother us too much . You are in a residential block and people have to go to work but we are early risers so we were out from early . We did hear the musical practice I think maybe an oboe or clarinet but it was one hour and we sat on the balcony and watched the world go by . The main things for me are a comfortable bed with nice bed linen . Plenty of nice clean towels and hot water . The kitchen equipment could do with updating ie toaster and kettle .overall a good stay in a great location.

The apartment is well situated only about 10 minutes walk from the start of the old city, but with pastry/bread shop, supermarket and loads of bars and eating places around. Very comfortable living/dining room and great to watch València life go by from the balcony.

Would have been perfect without the noisy neighbours..

A nice and clean flat, close to the old city, metro just behind.
David nice and received us well, inspite of late arrival.
The flat contains just what you need, but not more. A toaster would be nice..
As well as A/C in both bedrooms.
The information in the flat seems a bit overaged. Needs an update.
We would have appreciated accurate info how to get to the famous sites. Saves a lot of time if you are there for a short stay.
But on the whole, definitely recommendable.

Great Location but Extremely Noisy Building
This is a nice apartment with easy access to much of Valencia on foot. Only 10-15 minutes walk from Valencia old town with great restaurants, shops etc. Good local supermarkets , bakeries, small bars etc a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. However, the apartment is in a residential block and the noise from the upstairs neighbours is unacceptable. They seem to drag their furniture across the hard flooring continuously and at the weekends undertake DIY with the prolonged use of power tools. On the Saturday early evening when we returned to the apartment to shower and change they were having saxophone practice with the woman of the house singing to introduce the rhythm for the budding musician. There are at least 2 dogs living in the building, one on the same floor as the apartment which barks only occasionally but there is another one on the ground floor which howls, hounds of the Baskerville style, for prolonged periods of time. the dogs are healthy and well cared for and the owners are extremely nice. On weekday mornings the sounds of people preparing for work and school begin around 7am with shutters and doors being banged , locks being double locked etc. This continues until around 9.30 and then the furniture dragging upstairs begins for the day. I don’t see a resolution to this as it is a residential building. We were only in Valencia for 5 days and were out for a lot of the time but I feel that for people who are there for a longer time that it would very quickly become a real issue. re the continuing saga of the lack of a toaster, the owners thinks that he has a combined microwave and grill but it is only a microwave , no grilling ability and the oven is a very old fashioned conventional oven which takes forever to heat. I understand that the owner is concerned that the apartment only has 5kw of electricity. I have a house in Spain with 4.6kw of electricity and a note to guests saying , please don’t use the toaster, kettle and aircon at the same time will prevent power trip outs. the arrival procedure is poor and seems to depend on the guests having smart phones with 4G capability. Despite having told the owner that we would arrive at 7pm, we were left in the street for 35 mins. When he arrived he was beyond rude. The other problem with the check in is that the owner did not complete the forms required by the police regarding our presence in his apartment but we resolved this ourselves by taking our passports etc into the police.

Great Location
David's property was in an ideal location for us with its easy access to public transport , supermarkets and the 15 min walk to the old town and the delightful Jardin del Turia.
We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony prior to our active days, and sitting out in evening relaxing without being plagued by either flies or mosquitos!
David was there to greet us and show us around the apartment and he was very responsive whenever we needed to contact him.
The apartment is very well kitted out with everything we needed for our 5 day holiday.
A final word of advice, if arriving from the airport, ignore any directions Google Maps suggests to you! Take the number 3 metro to Benimaclet. Exit the metro station following signs for the number 4 tram to Mas del Rosari, and take the 4 tram 3 stops to Sagunt.
We will be back!

It was a very good apartment and as expected from the photos and description! Easy to use!! Only thing we missed was a toaster.

Great base to explore Valencia
Why you should choose this property? 1) comfortable and very tastefully furnished, 2) David was very easy to communicate with, and very responsive, 3) easy access to neighborhood stores, e.g. supermarket, green grocer, pharmacy, bakery, etc. 4) centrally located, a quick walk to the Torres de Serranos and the old town.

Central Location
A comfortable apartment with a very nice balcony where one can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers. Ample living and dining room space, and a kitchen that has virtually anything one would need. Very little closet space in the bedrooms other than the dressers but I hung my clothes in the living room closets where there was ample space.
Only ten minutes of walking and one is in the Old Town area where one can spend lots of time sightseeing and exploring the Torres, the Silk Exchange, the wonderful Mercado and the many churches, town plazas and retail stores. Also, close to the bus lines that take you to all the other areas of the city.

The perfect place for exploring Valencia
The accommodation was very well equipped. The bed comfortable, the glass walled shower large and easy to operate. The living room quite large, with a good sized dining table and very comfortable seating and tasteful decor. We enjoyed using the balcony in the evenings.
We thoroughly recommend this apartment. David explained everything to us and was a pleasure to deal with.
The provision of a toaster would be a great asset for future guests.

Perfectly situated apartment a short walk to Turia Garden and Old Town
We stayed at David's flat from mid-January to March. We loved our small pied-a-terre as it was outfitted with everything we needed. David met us when we arrived at the flat and gave us a thorough tour of the amenities. He was very responsive when we had challenges with our internet and had everything up and running in short order.
Flat's highlights? Sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by was our nightly ritual (with a glass of wine of course). We loved that the sitting room had space for 4 or 5 people. We had access to our music playlist on the stereo and movies on the TV. While the bedrooms are small, they are not on the street so it was perfectly quiet for sleeping. We appreciated that the kitchen had a few spices and staples to get us started as we ate in a few times a week. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and two shower heads to choose from. Temperatures in January and February can be chilly at night so the heater was really appreciated. It is also an air conditioner and is whisper-quiet.
Morning croissants are available every day but Saturday from the bakery downstairs and 3 supermarkets are only a block or two away. We preferred Mercadona due to its large wine, cheese and fresh meat selection. The Turia is 5 min away and was our go-to for the morning walk to justify croissants.
The run-up to Las Falles, Valencia's huge welcome-to-spring celebration, was in full swing from beginning of March on with daily fireworks, astounding displays of falles (huge puppets) and street parties. This is definitely a great time to visit Valencia. We also took trips to Marrakesh (Ryanair) and Barcelona, Xativa and Alicante (train).
The City of Arts & Sciences is an architectural dream, the beach is stunning and surprisingly not overdeveloped. The Metro, tram and buses are easy to use and biking is fun and safe with the excellent bike infrastructure. We loved Valencia with its fascinating history and highly recommend visiting in late winter (one slight drizzle for 5 minutes in 2 months). It can be cold out at night but days were lovely and warm.
David informed us about the Facebook group Valencia Information Exchange. We also discovered Valencia Secreta for all things related to off the beaten path tourism, and Valencia Curry Lovers for anyone interested in cooking workshops.
We definitely recommend this apartment as your home away from home.

Great location and apartment
We thought from Google maps that this place was maybe a metro/bus ride away from the old town centre. But its actually a better location than that. In reality, its about 5 minutes walk to the Torres de Serrano. We also walked down the Jardi del Turia for about 30 minutes to the City of Arts and Sciences - a delightful stroll to a fabulous must-see attraction.
The apartment is clean and tidy, with all the stuff you need to get by: kitchen equipment, hairdryers, ironing boards etc. However, you won't be cooking given the numerous restaurants and eating choices in the city. Check in was really simple and we had great communications from the owner. Theres a bakery on the street outside for morning pastries, a Lidl 2 minutes up the road for groceries and a tram stop equally close - it was about 50 mins by metro from the airport. There are also various bars and eating places around although we tended to gravitate to the old town centre.
Its not a luxury apartment but perfectly nicely decorated and furnished. Spacewise there were only two of us but even at full occupancy I think you wouldn't feel crammed in. Its accessible and I would say family friendly - on the 5th floor but there's a lift, and there is also a small park and playground next door for children. It was reasonably quiet given that its located on a busy intersection - there was a bit of door banging etc from the neighbours normal comings and goings but if you want perfect silence you don't stay in an apartment block. We slept peacefully.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment as a great base to explore this lovely city.

Great apartment perfectly located for the old town of Valencia (5 minutes walk) and the beach (25 minutes tram). The apartment is really comfortable and well equipped. David was very helpful and responsive on the (few) occasions we had to contact him.

Good size and very comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at this property in Valencia. It was very comfortable and the distribution was excellent, with the bedrooms at one end of the hall and the living room at the other side so didn't suffer from my daughter and her friend watching tv late at night. The only thing I recommend is replacing the bath towels as those are really worn out. But aside from that small detail, everything else worked perfectly. David was really helpful in providing so much information about the city and the surrounding area.

Fantastic base to explore a fantastic city from.
We arrived and called Malcolm from the airport. Metro system very efficient and we arrived at Sagunt tram station about 1 minute prior to Malcolm.
The apartment is a short walk and is on the 5th floor, fortunately there is an elevator to whisk you up to it.
The historic town is about 10 minutes away and we spent many hours getting lost (exploring) the many alleyways and figuring out where to eat that evening.
We were there over New Year and the celebrations were well organised and trouble free. Not even any paralytic drunks that we saw. The police presence was spot on with glass not being allowed in the square but plastic tumblers being handed out to allow you to decant rather than dispose of your precious liquid.
My highlights were the Bullring museum and 2 trips to the beach with the second one being on the tram in one direction.
However back to the apartment, it is clean spacious and comfortable and has everything you need for a citybreak. Would benefit from a toaster and some English speaking programmes on the TV , BBC world news even.
That said the weather was so good we did not have a lot of time to sit down and watch it anyway.
We are now home having telephoned to book a Taxi for 4.30 this morning and when we stepped outside our Taxi was there.
I feel as if I have had a holiday in Spain rather than have been in Spain in an English enclave. Brilliant time .

spacious apartment in a good location
This is a very nice apartment, tastefully decorated, which we, as a couple, found to be spacious and well-equipped. It has two bedrooms with the main wardrobes being located in the large living room. This might be a concern if more than two people were using the place but for us it didn`t pose a problem. The living room itself has a very comfortable sitting area which, being south-facing, receives direct sunlight which is filtered pleasantly by the huge Eucalyptus tree outside. It was really very pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch and hear the world go by five stories below you.
On that score, the two lifts in the building are quick and easy to use.
The bathroom is fine and appears to have been updated fairly recently with a shower which provided lots of hot water on demand. There was also plenty of storage space for bathroom stuff which made life easy for everyone. A good supply of fresh-smelling towels was also most welcome
The kitchen is a decent size and has most things you could need except , perhaps, a toaster. A minor point: the bowls we used for breakfast cereals, etc could, ideally, be smaller and deeper though we managed with what was provided
Although one of the bedrooms was a little on the small size, the main one which we used was more than adequate for our needs and was furnished with a very comfortable bed.
There was little noise from the other apartments with the position of the bedrooms, being on the inside of the building around an internal courtyard, ensured a peaceful nights sleep.
Although we visited in mid-October, the temperature on a couple of days required us to use the air-conditioning, which was efficient and, unusually, quiet.
The location of the apartment is excellent, being close to tram and bus stops and is very well served by bakeries, supermarkets, bars, etc
It is something like a ten minute walk to the historic centre which we found to be full of fascinating buildings, churches, museums, etc.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Valencia and will certainly visit again.
Thanks are due to our host, David, who met us at the apartment and made us feel welcome. He was most helpful in explaining about the apartment and also gave sound advice on transport, places to eat and generally on how to make the most of our stay.

Great Apartment, Excellent Host,
We quite enjoyed the apartment. Nice big kitchen, bathroom. Tastefully decorated. David met us at the door and filled us in on the area. We were relieved to find that coffee, tea, and implements for their making were provided. And added bonus--efficient, quiet, and effective AC! Do note that Valencia doesn't yet have Uber, but they have a local taxi app that works quite well.

We stay at the propertie for easter and the apartment was perfect for the family. Really good location, very near from the old town, perfect to go by foot and only 15-20 min. from the beaches in car. The neighborhood really calm and with all facilities (bakery, supermarkets, valenbisi, etc.)...We enjoyed a lot our visit to Valencia and Javier and David were really very kind. Always responsive and ready to give us recommendations! We loved our stay in they apartment.

Excellent location
Well equipped and comfortable. Excellent location. All positive apart from noise from neighbours banging doors and shouting on two of the nights until 2 in the morning.

We only stayed here for two nights, but even in that brief time I got the impression the location would be ideal for a longer stay--close to the metro, within walking distance of the old city, and well-supplied with grocers as well as local drinking and dining establishments.
It's got a rather unusual layout, but we found the apartment to be quite comfortable for the two of us--particularly the large living/dining area with the south-facing balcony shaded by a huge eucalyptus tree. The bathroom was clean, well-lit, and well-stocked with lots of towels and a large shower while the kitchen was good-sized and fairly well-equipped (though it could use some soup/cereal sized bowls). The bedrooms are, as mentioned elsewhere, quite small, so we used one for sleeping and one for our luggage--perhaps if we'd been there longer we'd have utilized the clothes closet in the dining room area.
Of the four places we've stayed on this trip, this apartment stands head and shoulders above the rest for its combination of style and comfort. It's been attractively painted, comfortable furnished, and tastefully decorated.
We did have a rough start having to wait well over an hour outside the building before being let in, but we were able to message David who was in the UK and he got our contact on the way. Also, a fresh map for each new set of guests seems to be a common perk and would be appreciated--especially one with good metro details.
