About this apartment rental
62 square meters apartment, near the coast and Vouliagmeni square (3 minutes walking from the coast and organised beach), situatedn in a quiet and tranquil green area. Fully renovated and stylishly furnished, with a big balcony with comfy furniture and calming view over a huge mature garden with pine-trees and plenty more greenery, and blossoming orange trees on the street in front of the apartment.
The apartment is fully equipped for day - to - day living, and long term stay as well as remote working, with some of the highlights such as modern and stylish open plan kitchen with plenty of appliances and cookery needed to make any meal (Nespresso coffee machine / Frappe coffee machine included), wifi appropriate for nomad working; spacious living room with the big SmartTV, calming colours and modern comfy furniture; serene big balcony with the view into a mature garden; the quietness and relaxed atmosphere but at the same time close proximity (3 - 4 min walking) to the organised beach and near by restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
The apartment can accommodate up to 4 persons. Aircon and bed matress recently bought for a comfortable stay and sleep, and stylish sofa in the living room becomes big comfy bed when needed. Stylish modern heater available for colder days, if visited outside of summer days.
The roads to the flat are partially moderately steep for the last 30-40 meters, and whilst this might not be ideal for people who are facing significant difficulties with walking, it allows enjoying the beautiful sea view and sunset cocktails from the roof terrace of the building (chairs available in the sofa storage space; please ask for the key to the terrace).
The apartment is based on the south coast of Athens, in a beautiful and tranquil area of Vouliagmeni, known also as ‘Athens Riviera’.
It reminds me of a beautiful island, busy enough and serene at the same time, elegant with its shores and lake, and with the perks of Athens downtown and near by islands at easy reach, perfect blend!
Vouliagmeni is well known for its’ organised and recently modernised Vouliagmeni Beach and Marina, with beautiful shores and beach sports and activities, and plenty more hidden and less known small beaches and shores near by. Vouliagméni also allows for active style holidays, with a wide range of water sports (waterski, windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, paddle boarding and sailing - with schools available in each category, all 4-5 min walking distance), swimming, cycling, gym facilities, hiking, amazing coastal scenery walks and run, all available in close proximity (5-10 minutes walking distance).
Important to mention are the well known and near by Vouliagmeni Lake (5-6 min walking distance) which maintains the temperature of 24 C all around the year, but also miles of long and incredible coastal scenery and crystal blue water and the near by Vouliagmeni Hill - just above the Vouliagméni Lake and overlooking the coast, for your walks / hiking with the accompanying incredible views.
There is a plethora of near by restaurants, bars, coffee shops, funky clubs and pubs, bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, market and bio market for fresh fruits and vegetables; beauty and massage saloon, gym, tennis and beach volleyball, horse riding, cycling clubs - all at the walking distance of 5-10 minutes; and many of the near by open air live events like music concerts, open air cinema and theatre.
Last, but not least, the fabulous shopping area in the lively Glyfada with its stylish and fashionable shops and bars area, only 10 min drive away, check it out!
Additionally to Vouliagmeni and near by suburbs, there is the famous and buzzing Plaka, Thisio and Monastiraki square in Athens downtown, with its’ famous cosy tavernas, tiny streets and market, and of course - the world famous ancient site Acropolis, it’s a must!
It takes about 30 minutes drive to the centre of Athens outside of peak hours, same for the port of Pireas, and it takes about 25 - 30 minutes drive to the airport; you can easily visit the near by islands like Aegina, Tzia, Paros and Idra (all between 1-2 hours away from Athens - very nice ferry boat journey from Pireas or Laurio), and plethora of other islands. I surely would not want to forget to mention the near by ancient sites like Sunion (Poseidon Temple), and Delphi. So, there is a bit of everything, for everyone's taste - variety and fun at every corner!
There is plenty of choice regarding your transport, with high number of car rental companies and public transport in a way of buses, trams, metro and yellow taxi easily at reach; bus station (bus N122); additionally, there are online taxi companies available e.g. Uber and Beat (both use Apps so you would need to download them; Beat is Greek taxi App similar to Uber).

Firstly, thanks to Lina for being such a pleasant host. Lina met us to show us the apartment and was very helpful in recommending restaurants and places of interest. She was quick to respond to any questions we had via what's app and her information was extremely helpful.
The apartment is very spacious with a great shaded balcony, perfect for eating breakfast each morning. Air conditioning was ideal as we stayed during a heatwave. It is located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, just a short walk to restaurants and beaches. It has everything you need for your stay.
Vouliagmeni itself is ideal for relaxing with a variety of restaurants to choose from. There are no shops persay in the area other than supermarkets but Glyfada and Athens are easily accessible by bus if you do want to do some shopping or sightseeing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The apartment is very close to the local bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and the beaches are only a short walk away. We would recommend a restaurant called Zaxos Grill which is about 5 minutes walk from the apartment and serves traditional Greek food which is excellent quality and great value.
There are also local transport links to the centre of Athens closeby.
We really enjoyed the apartment. It is spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the air conditioning is excellent (especially when the temperature exceeded 40 degrees). We also enjoyed the large balcony area, although it doesn't have a sea view, it is very quiet and sheltered from the sun. Excellent for reading a book with a glass of wine!
The host, Lina, was very approachable throughout our booking. She provided helpful information for check-in just before our holiday and checked-in with us during our stay which was very reassuring.
We would highly recommend this apartment and location for a relaxing and hassle free holiday

Our stay was quiet and absolutely problem-free. We often go on vacation in a holiday apartment or holiday home and have tried out several different options. This apartment is also ideal for 2 people who want to relax and prepare something for themselves from time to time. There is everything for it.

The owner of this property was very nice and tried her best communicating with me. I had an issue with a broken balcony(1st floor) door lock and notified her but it was never fixed, and was told it was a very nice area so the outer door should be enough. This is a 2nd home for the owner and was way too overcrowded with the owners items. Very little space for clothing in closet, closet floor space was filled 1/3 of the way up and under the bed was packed with items jutting out. I have been travelled extensively and used VRBO multiple times and this was too much like an AirBNB rental property for my taste. I still believe the owner tried her best, it's just that the property did not seem up to VRBO's usual standards.

Quiet & Lovely Apartment with Kind & Responsive Host
We enjoyed our stay in this modern flat. We loved reading and relaxing on the balcony. The location was convenient to the areas we needed to visit for friends’ wedding, and we could not be happier with the neighborhood. We also enjoyed the many restaurants in the area. Lina’s responsiveness alleviated any concerns we had. Thank you, Lina! We hope to return in the future!

A truly beautiful location and perfect apartment.....
My daughter and I visited here during the early Easter holidays. We were looking for a quality base to use for our first adventures around Greece.
Lina made the booking process perfectly simple and was very helpful with any questions and arrangements.
The apartment was clean, quiet and perfectly fitted out and was only a short walk from the beautiful centre of Vouliagmeni where you can find many restaurants - we ate out every evening and was never disappointed with any of the restaurants we chose.
You can use Lina's apartment as a base to easily visit Athens (a must!) and the Temple of Poseidon (beautiful location) and we used the opportunity to go for a walk in the hills every morning to get our hour of exercise.
We would re-visit in the blink of an eye and can only recommend Lina's apartment at the highest level.....she's a lovely person with a beautiful apartment. Thank you Lina

Totale Erholung an einem sehr schönen Ort
Vouliagmeni ist ein sehr schöner Ort. Meer, Restaurants, Cafés, Natur und super nah an Athen - was braucht man sonst noch. Lina‘s Appartement war super. Alles hat perfekt geklappt. 👍 Die Ausstattung ist toll, so kann man sich selbst versorgen, wenn man nicht Zaxos Grill oder das Waffelhaus nutzen will 😋

Relaxing stay close to the beach
Lina's apartment was great, she really has thought of everything!
The location is on a quiet street in Vouliagmeni with a small area with shops and restaurants very close by. The bus stops very close by as well, plenty of parking if you've rented a car.
The apartment itself was very comfortable with a huge patio!
Lina was quick to answer all my questions and had really thought of everything from beach towels (there is a nice beach walking distance at €10 a person or Lake Vouliagmeni €12 person) to power converters.
It was better than staying in a hotel! If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to stay near Athens but not IN the busy city this is a wonderful place!

Where to Start: the apartment was fantastic, really easy to find from the Airport (took 30min to get to)
All mod cons inside apartment, the apartment was really clean & almost brand new.the kitchen had all accessories you would need to go self catering.
Walking out of the apartment and turning left there is a slight hill, nothing to be concerned with as it’s only a slight gradient that lasts around 30 metres. After this you make a right turn and again you go down a 60/90 meter hill that takes you all the way into the centre. It takes 5/7 minutes to walk down and approx 10 min to walk back up. I really enjoyed the walks as the views are incredible.
Philips Bar/Coffee Shop - excellent service and I used this every day for Breakfast:prices are good and food was lovely.
There are small Beaches all around but I opted for the larger Beach as it had Bars shops and restaurants at. Made it easier when we was sun bathing and sipping in the Sea. (Cost €5 Each but well worth).
There is a lot to do in and around but I opted for a more relaxed environment to de stress and relax.
Vouliagilemi Lake is an incredible relaxing area, and the view is breathtaking with the caves and high hill sides that enclosed the lake. The lake has “healing powers” also the small fish that like to eat away at you flesh, it was an amazing experience and highly recommend.
The Evenings where spent @Swell -roof top bar: George & Yanis, absolutely outstanding gentleman that made you feel welcome, all the staff at swell where fantastic and always greeted you well with very good hospitality.
We ate out the whole holiday as the food was absolutely incredible.
There is fine dining at all the restaurants and to be honest they tend to be the same.
The Best restaurant by far is Lagrom, one Word! INCREDIBLE!
The service was out of this world Chris the host was fantastic, great fun and really nice personality- he made the guests feel like they where rockstars providing fantastic service.
The Food was exquisite the best tasting food I’ve eaten in a very long time. 5*
Overall The holiday was an amazing experience with the whole place feeling like a wonder.so many things to do and see.(via the Red Hop On/Hop Off).

Nice place and lovely flat
We are a family of three and we found the apartment comfortable, clean, nice, well located and well equipped: air conditioning, dishwasher etc.). The beach is nearby, there are supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. Lina was kind, reliable and supportive. I recommend it.

Comfortable and a few blocks from the beach!
Lina was a pleasure to work with. Her flat was clean and comfortable and offered everything we needed for our stay. It is a couple blocks from the beach and we had no issues getting a taxi for a trip downtown. Close to bars and plenty of eateries. We would stay there again!

This little flat was absolutely perfect. The location uncovers a beautiful part of Athens that most tourists do not get to see. We really enjoyed our stay there. Any time again!
The apartment is clean and newly renovated with a very nice modern kitchen which had everything needed, even a Nespresso machine. It also has a nice balcony (incl. nice baclony furniture) with a wonderful view to a garden with pine-trees. The bedroom could be a bit bigger though. Its location is excellent in a wonderful suburb of Athens. Despite being close to bars, taverns, supermarkets and the beach with windsurfing, sailing facilities etc. (everything a few minutes walk), it is very quiet and surrounded by a lot of green. Please note, that it is not ideal for people who are facing difficulties with walking (e.g. older people) as the roads to get to the flat are partly rather steep.
The host of the apartment was very helpful and happy to provide us with information of the area. She was always willing to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
A tip: If you have an Amazon Prime Fire Stick, you can use it there, since the flat has a modern flatscreen TV and sufficient internet speed.

Good apartment for a short break
Clean appartment with well stocked facilities with balcony (permanently shaded) . located within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars etc. The only drawback for us was that the apartment is up a long slope so not recommended for anybody old or unfit.
Overall good value for money and would stay again.

A very convenient and easy stay in Vouliagmeni
This was our first experience booking a flat in Europe (coming from Canada) and our experience with the booking online and stay was wonderful. The owner of the flat helped coordinate everything that was needed upon arrival, and the flat had everything we needed for a great stay. It's in a beautiful part of Athens, close to the beach, and a good value. We would definitely book this property again!
