We really enjoyed our stay in the villa it was very spacious and gave each of us plenty of space to get ready to go out and also if you wanted some quiet time.
The location was perfect and the facilities excellent
We will definitely be coming back

We've visited the West Coast many times, and this villa is in the perfect location with a beautiful, shady tropical garden. It has just the right level of comfort and we felt at home immediately. Linda and her team made us feel so welcome. All in all an excellent experience, thank you!

Property was hidden behind a lovely garden. Great facilities with everything you could possibility want/need, another blessing was the laundry meaning we came home with clean clothes. Close to beach and great to have pool option albeit only serviced with bar part of the week. Only slight downside was the uphill walk back in the heat.

Have stayed in Sunset Crest / Holetown several times before as it's one of our favourite parts of Barbados. Very pleased when we arrived to be greated by Tania who gave us a tour of this lovely property and also put us contact with a few people who might be able to make our stay more comfortable (we managed a cheeky discount on Payne's sun loungers!) - really helped us to settle in quickly :)
The property itself if great, tatsefully decorated and has everything you could ever need. Beds are all very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There's a 3rd bedroom accessed throiugh the second which was great for us as both kids had their own space. 2 bathrooms which is also handy when you have teenagers!
Outside there's plenty of space to relax or dine and the gardens are very lush with a great level of privacy. We spent a few more evenings "at home" as it was such a lovely environment to chill out in.
We'll definitely be back to Barbados and will absolutely contact Linda when looking for somewhere to stay - great host and really appreciated the phone call to make sure we had everything we needed :)

Well equipped family accommodations for 2 adults and 3 children (6 - 10). Ms Janice (house keeper) and Joel (groundskeeper) kept things nice for us.. We hit the beach every day and quickly found out that Barbados was a bit more expensive than we thought but once we found the Rubbermaid containers in the cupboard, that made making transportable lunches doable, it really made the difference in our daily trips as the kids were always hungry.. we found the pool access a great alternative to the beach. Walking distance to shopping and groceries were an extra bonus. A special thanks for that Linda for having a well equipped kitchen (blender, kettle, cups, mugs, plates and bowls), beach towels and more❤️… Sorry for the broken can opener

Everything was perfect! Tanya was very nice during check-in and took the time to explain everything. The house is big and this being Barbados, we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces (living room and dining room). House was super clean, the kitchen was very well equipped (especially compared to other rentals we have been to), the washer and dryer were useful and the neighborhood was very quiet. Added bonus: our kids loved watching the family of monkeys who passed through the yard daily! Communication with Linda was efficient. Holetown and it’s restaurants, shops and supermarket was a 10 minute walk away through safe little streets. Lastly: we used the pool at the Beach Club at the end of each day before coming home; it was clean and well kept!

Palm villa is a lovely house with beautiful mature gardens that provide plenty of shade and cool breeze, a great place to relax and switch off.
Only ten minutes walk to the beach club which we found really useful with two teeangers in tow, Linda is a great host and answered any questions quickly as well as arranging a taxi from the airport at a good price !
We were met on arrival and shown how everything woked plus Janice the housekeeper called in twice to tidy up etc which was an unexpected bonus - would we go again, 100%.

Delightfully relaxing
This was one of the most pleasant places we have ever stayed at during our travels. The villa was beautifully landscaped as a tropical oasis in an ideal location. Our hostess, Linda, couldn't have been more welcoming. Our housekeeper, Janice and grounds keeper Juhel kept everything neat and tidy. Can't wait to go back.

Quiet and Peaceful
A beautiful location with 3 spacious bedrooms. Great for 2 guests as you get your own bathroom. Love the 2 outdoor shaded areas. Great for working out, doing computer work and relaxing. No pool but beach and beach club pool are only a 10 min walk. Monkeys are cute too and make an appearance in the morning:)

Tropical Gardens
Excellent organisation of taxi & housekeeper/reception despite our flight being 2 hours late. There were just two of us so the property seemed even bigger than for most families Large outdoors with gardens, seating areas & dining table. Indoors, three bedrooms & everything you could need - all as described in the listing. Beach club, pool & nearby beaches within easy walking distance, a car isn't necessary as it is so close to Holetown. We didn't. Helpful owner kept in regular contact throughout.

Paradise at Palm Villa
We cannot overstate how lovely everyone was who was in any way associated with Palm Villa , Sunset Crest. The whole team made our family feel safe and at home. The neighbors, the monkeys in the morning on the patio, the walk for coffee, the walk to the beach, the beach, the housekeeper and gardener all delightful. The laundry facilities were super useful and the showers refreshing.

March 2020 stay
Good location, just a short walk to the beach and the Holetown shops/restaurants. Excellent communication throughout booking and during our stay with Linda. High quality furnishings & equipment both inside and out. Outside space looked after by a lovely gardener and the inside left absolutely spotless by the housekeeper. You really can't go wrong with this accommodation.

The Best!
We loved this home! It was perfect for two couples. The bedrooms are a good size and the ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom was great to have. We loved the outdoor sitting area. We had our coffee there each morning. We felt very safe in the home/area. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. The owner even purchases a new blender for me to have my breakfast smoothies each morning - much appreciated! Everything was supplied including all the toilet paper and even bug repellant. The owner arranged pickup to/from airport which was great. The owner called twice to ensure everything was okay. It was great having access to the beach house which is a 15 minute walk away. The only negative comment I have is the beds were very hard which made sleeping uncomfortable. But other than that, I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it to others.

Palm Villa
We had a wonderful time in Barbados. One of the major reasons was because of Palm Villa and Linda our host. Beautiful gardens surround the property and we really enjoyed the outdoor living. Linda was an extremely attentive host, we had a plumbing problem during our stay, but Linda handled the entire situation quickly and professionally. We would not hesitate to recommend Palm Villa for a wonderful holiday. Thank you Linda for sharing your lovely home.

Tranquil setting
Palm villa is set on a quiet avenue, surrounded by beautiful gardens. There were only two of us, but it still would have been spacious enough for 6. Every amenity has been carefully considered by our host Linda, who's communication with us could not be faulted, to make a very smooth and easy check in process. We would highly recommend this property for the relaxing location, just a short stroll from the beaches. Perfect.

We also loved coffee/drinks at Sandpiper hotel 20mins walk on the beach.Overall, Linda’s place is great in a fabulous location, completely recommend it!

Fabulous two weeks at Sunset Crest!
The villa met our needs perfectly and had absolutely everything we needed. We loved the location - perfect to explore the island and sample the many wonderful restaurants!
Access to the beach house was an added bonus - great to relax by the pool, enjoy the view of the Caribbean and swim in the clear waters.
Linda was incredibly helpful and ensured our stay was as comfortable as could be. The villa is very well equipped; we didn't need to buy anything. Perfect for two couples.
We enjoyed exploring and had a fabulous catamaran trip with Calabaza - would have gone twice if we'd done it first week. Enjoyed wonderful meals at The Tides, The Cliff Beach House, Lonestar and very many more.
A special holiday, a special place and would recommend Sunset Crest!

Great place to relax.
We had a wonderful two weeks at Palm Villa. We tried to book this villa for last year but it was unavailable for the time we wanted, however, the wait was worth it. Linda was great to deal with from the first contact until our last day there and called us a few times to make sure everything was o.k.
There is so much comfortable living space both inside and outside and it is ideal for families or two couples. We never felt the need to use the air conditioning as there is always airflow throughout the house. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of work space. Janice, the housekeeper came in once a week to change the sheets and towels and keeps the place sparkling. The garden is lush and is well looked after by Jewel the gardener who is very knowledgeable about all the plants and trees in the area.
Massy’s Supermarket is about fifteen minutes away but there is an available shuttle service. They stock pretty much everything you may need.
The nearest beach is only about ten minutes away and is great for swimming with shade in the morning. There are more beaches further north on the other side of Holetown but they are a bit busier.
We did take a couple of day trips round the island and also took the reggae bus into Bridgetown to spend the day at Carlisle Bay which has to be one of the best beaches anywhere. Just make sure that there aren’t too many cruise ships in port that day.
We loved Palm Villa and would highly recommend it for either a short or long term stay. Thank you Linda for your hospitality and letting us have such a great time in your lovely villa.

Lovely property in excellent condition, quiet and secluded
We stayed at the property for 1 week in the middle of December. We were met on arrival by Janice who was lovely and showed us around the property. Hole town is great with some lovely bars and eating places. The property is within easy walking distance of the beach and all amenities, yet it is set of the beaten track in a very private and secluded position. Linda was very attentive and checked a few times to make sure we had arrived safely and settled in ok. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return.

Loved it so much
We loved our stay so much!! The house is even better than the pictures: it is spacious, very clean, it smells fresh, the outdoor spaces are so beautiful and relaxing! I could go on and on! Linda is such a wonderful hostess, she called us to make sure everything was good and the communication was always great from the moment of booking until after our stay. Thank you Linda!
We have found our vacation spot and we will be back for sure. Barbados is a wonderful island that has so much more to offer than white sandy beaches. It is safe, still very authentic and the food is yummy! Can’t wait to be back, so for now I’ll dream about it every day :)

Home from home, but nicer weather
Linda's villa is well situated about 10-15 mins walk from the centre of Holetown. It is home from home, everything has been thought of. Linda called as we arrived and we knew she was there in the background if we needed her. She organised the airport transfers with David the driver, a very polite young man ready to help if needed. Janice the housekeeper met us at the house and showed us around and showed us where everything was. She also came to clean and change the beds during the stay. There were also plenty of towels for the beach etc.
We loved the visits from the monkeys and their babies. The cards to use the Beach House were a great help. There is a lovely bar and restaurant along side the pool area. We had a great holiday in Barbados and really enjoyed staying in this lovely house.

A very comfortable villa.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The villa has lovely gardens and some furnished undercover areas. It is fully equipped for your stay. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans in the three bedrooms (the twin room is accessed through the double room which has an ensuite shower) and a ceiling fan in the living room. The master bedroom and en suite was very nice indeed.
The owner, Linda, is very attentive and you are welcomed by a lovely housekeeper, Janice, on arrival. We took advantage of Linda's recommended taxi service for airport pick up (which she arranged for us) and were very pleased with it and made our own arrangements with him for other things.
The villa is close to a grocery store (Massy, which has Waitrose products), the beach and bus stops on the main road. (B$2 to Bridgetown or Speightstown)There are also lots of restaurants around.
We rented a car for three days and it was well worth it and easy to get around (there is even a little offroad parking area for a small car on the villa grounds).Linda recommends Mah car hire, but we left it too late to book and used Drive-a-Matic, but had no complaints at all.
All in all we loved Barbados, there is so much to do, no matter what your interests are and the people are friendly and welcoming, it is also very clean.
I would have no hesitation recommending Palm Villa and Barbados to everyone.
Thank you Linda!!

Amazing & relaxing villa!
We had a wonderful time at Palm Villa. The place is clean, spacious, and well equipped with almost everything you need. My wife and I spent 10 days here in February and loved our stay. Linda is incredibly accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a spacious, relaxing villa just a short walk to the beach.

Wonderful homely villa
Palm villa was wonderful. The property had everything you need and is like a home away from home feel. Your close to the beach and Holetown which has great restaurants and a supermarket. Linda has kept in contact from the moment of booking and called the villa the day we arrived to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be back and Linda is a great host. Cannot recommend this villa enough.

Beautiful villa in quiet area.
We have just returned from ten days in paradise!
Firstly, I have to say that dealing with Linda was a pleasure from start to finish. She was always available if needed, and arranged our lifts from and to the airport for us. She also checked with us regularly to see if we needed anything.
This villa is perfect for a home from home holiday. It is spacious, light and airy and beautifully furnished.
There are mosquito and security grills on the outside of all windows which means that you can leave all of the windows open day and night. This gives a lovely airy feel to the place and gives nice through breezes.
The air conditioning in the bedrooms is very efficient and the beds are very comfortable so we slept so well!
The outdoor spaces are very private, except from the occasional visit from the friendly monkeys which is amazing. They visited us twice around breakfast time.
The friendly housekeeper, Janice, visits twice a week to change beds and towels etc. There are plenty of towels provided including beach towels. This villa actually has all the amenities you need.
The access that is provided to the Beach House is what makes this extra special. The Beach House is about a 15 minute walk away, but it is an easy walk. The access provides you with the use of all facilities at The Beach House so you have sun beds and shade and free iced water. There is a bar to buy drinks, and a restaurant for lunch and dinner. Also showers and changing rooms with lockers should you need them. We felt quite happy leaving our belongings out when we went for lunch or in the sea. It is a nice place, solely for use by members. The best part is the beach! It is particularly quiet and the water is beautiful here!
The villa is situated in a quiet backwater, next door to a small hotel, whose pool we used on one occasion after checking at reception that it was ok to do so.
There is a nice little cafe, a few shops and the bus stop within a 5/10 minute walk, and then the main supermarket and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk. Everything is within easy reach.
We used the buses on two occasions. We went to Bridgetown on the blue bus, and then rode the yellow reggae bus to Speightstown which is an experience not to be missed!! You need the correct money, but it is only 1US dollar per person per ride. Amazing value.
The locals are all very friendly and we always felt safe.
We only have positives to say about this villa and holiday. Thank you Linda!

A great place to stay and so well equipped. Linda made sure everything went ok and was in regular contact to ensure we were enjoying ourselves.. The Beach House is a 10 minute walk away with a lovely pool and beach.

Ultimate Relaxing Holiday
Palm Villa deserved five stars from the time of booking owing to Linda's care for our comfort and her attention to detail. The villa is comfortable, spacious and so very very relaxing. The peaceful location and the level of privacy was important to us whilst at the same time being convenient for shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Heaven! We can highly recommend Tides for a special evening out and Zaccios or The Beach House for a more casual meal. Sundowners at Drift are a must but we felt that Fishpot further along the coast had lost its magic rather .... less individual and indifferent service. On the south coast you can't beat Champers for lunch. Book for a good table and enjoy! As for fabulous swimming then head to Folkestone .... have a fish cutter and a Banks beer in the shade after a great swim. I could go on and on .... book Palm Villa and have a great holiday.

A gem of a home with so many amenities!!!
We had a most wonderful vacation at Linda's paradise home and would definitely stay again if she will have us. The home is beautiful and only slightly off the west beach area and a short walking distance to the grocery store. Loved to be able to BBQ our own dinners. The patio area is so comfortable and where we enjoyed seeing monkeys, tiny lizards, large snails, and birds.
Linda was very attentive to make sure that our stay was all we expected. Thank you, thank you.
The home will comfortably accommodate a family six. JUST A REAL GREAT PLACE!!!

We were really surprised how well-laid out and equipped the villa was. It has a real homely feel. It worked well for us with our two teenage daughters having a room of their own.
The villa is located in a lovely area, a short walk to the beach, cafe and restaurants. It's a bonus having use of the hotel pool next door as well as the Beach House. We look forward to returning.
2.5
Palm Villa is a beautifully presented villa, 5 minutes walk from local shops and less than 10 minutes from beautiful Bajan beaches, shops and restaurants in the centre of Holetown. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need (the aircon was a godsend) and very comfortable - lots of space, lots of different areas to sit in according to time of day, mood and noisy teenagers... We really felt at home here.
The hotel pool next door was very handy - a lovely place to cool off at the end of a hot day.
We had a real treat one morning when a troupe of monkeys casually wafted past us at breakfast on the rear terrace, climbed onto the roof and reappeared in the trees at the front of the property. They regarded us as curiously as we watched them. We felt like we were the zoo animals.
Linda and her team (Janice and David the taxi) were outstanding. Linda gave us lots of information prior to our trip and patiently answered all our questions - it was our first trip to Barbados.
Our journey out there was a bit problematic as we were diverted to St. Lucia with the possibility of staying there overnight. What of our taxi driver waiting for us in Barbados? Janice waiting for us at the villa? Although it was late in England Linda was on the case and sorted everything out for us. When we finally landed in Barbados David was there with a welcoming smile to transport us to Palm Villa, where the lovely Janice was waiting to show us round.
We had other problems whilst on holiday - an abscess in a tooth, an infected toe - and Linda was on the end of the phone, talking to her local contacts trying to find the best care for us. Thank you so much Linda - we hope your other guests are not so problematic.
Janice was fantastic - she was there when we needed her, but not when we didn't.
Our favourite restaurants were Surfside - great cocktails, food, sunsets and friendly waitresses (and reasonably priced) - and The Beach House - stunning location and food - not quite so cheap but friendly staff - our daughter enjoyed the impromptu napkin folding masterclass!
If you fancy swimming with turtles try 'Cliff Sharker'. The owner, Charles, will make it an experience not to be missed. Based on the south coast it is a bit of a drive early in the morning (13 miles) but well worth the effort.
We had a fantastic 2 weeks in Barbados and in Palm Villa. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - wish we could have stayed longer.

My friend and I had the most amazing holiday out in Barbados for two weeks in May this year. Having been to Barbados several times I knew the area well, Sweet Palm is perfectly situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of all the local beaches and restaurants. The Villa is brilliantly equipped with everything you need to cook should you want to eat at home. The BBQ was great and easy to use and the area outside is lovely for dinning outside under cover, with the sound of the local tree frogs as background music! The washing machine and dryer was brilliant to have and was the only holiday that I have had that I could pack light and take clothes home clean....Great! Linda is so helpful and is really brilliant at communicating with you both before, during and after your stay. I can't recommend this Villa and Linda highly enough and I am definitely returning for my break next year.
2.5
"Sweet Palm" is a quiet oasis from the outdoor sitting room and the dining patio to the comfortable bedrooms and well equipped kitchen.
It is just a pleasant walk away from the beach and shopping center. A dip in the next door pool is a extra bonus at the end of a great afternoons activities.
I hightly recommend this villa rental

We were guests at Sweet Palms for two lovely weeks in February 2013.
We arrived very late on a Friday evening and were greeted by Janice, the housekeeper. Janice showed us around the house and made us feel very at home and comfortable. To our surprise Janice returns twice a week to clean, straighten up, wash the bath towels and change the sheets if necessary – this was a bonus that we didn’t know about!!
Sweet Palms is everything the pictures show and even more. Before I even walked up that path that first evening I knew that I was going to love it. The house is in a very friendly, quiet and safe neighborhood. All the rooms are spacious from the bedrooms to the living room to both of the outside sitting areas. There is WI-FI for those of you who have an IPad or a Laptop and also a CD player with a small library of movies to watch on those evenings you decide to spend at home. The one thing that was important to me was the lighting in the bedrooms so I was able to read my book – and the lighting was great in both rooms for this.
There are ample large beach towels that are there to take to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and there is also a washer and a dryer which we took advantage of.
Two of the days we were there we were entertained by a family of the island’s mischievous monkeys. So, don’t be surprised if you see them at some time in the front or backyard while you are there. They are very curious!
Linda, the owner, is wonderful to work with and so responsive with any request or problem you may have.
We loved it so much we have made our reservations for next year the same time.
Some Tips and Suggestions:
-Go to Bottoms Bay Beach on the east coast. About a 45 minute drive and there are chairs to rent for $7.50. Pack a lunch and enjoy the beauty of this beach. Not crowded at all. Worth the trip.
-For those who like to do yoga….about 3 minutes from Sweet Palms is a great studio to practice yoga – “Sunshine Kula Yoga Studio”
-Go to Zaccio’s for dinner and you must have their “warm bread pudding” for dessert. Right on the water so the view is spectacular at sunset. Make reservations.
-Go for a late lunch at the RoundHouse Restaurant in Bathsheba right up from Bottom’s Bay. View is spectacular and very good reasonable food.
-Café Bar Carizma in the Chattel Village - reserve a table for their Tapas evening when they have live music.
-Café Indigo - for both breakfast and dinner - great place!
