Beautiful room, spacious and nicely decorated. Good size and nicely decorated bathroom, excellent water pressure in shower! Beds comfortable, quiet at night. Everything very clean. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Really lovely inn. 25 mins to Plymouth. Would definitely book again if visiting Dartmoor.

Nice location and early key pick up was appreciated.
Paying premium price as Muse were playing in Plymouth and not getting the proper breakfast as 10 minutes later than 9.30 cut off. This time, wasn't on any literature in the room or the website. As I picked up key on route to concert, the breakfast timings weren't given by staff.
£193 for a room and coffee and toast. We were very disappointed.

Friendly helpful staff and great breakfast.

The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice.
Maybe there could be a better range of alcoholic drinks e.g. Martini, Advocat, Sherry or Rosso.

My husband and I have stayed at The Burrator Inn before, the staff are always very welcoming and helpful, our bedroom was clean and comfortable, with everything provided as you would expect...tea and coffee making facilities with little bottles of fresh milk in a fridge on the stairwell to help yourself too. Lovely quality bathroom products too, shower, shampoo, conditioner etc. We had a small issue this time with the sink plug in the bathroom which was addressed straight away.
We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal, which was very good home made food.
All round good value for money, and a comfortable stay.
This time the breakfast was very disappointing we both ordered the full English, which the waitress commented "everyone had ordered this morning "
We were not the last to arrive for breakfast but when it was served to us, the breakfast was a very small portion, probably because the chef had not cooked enough portions to start with. Half a small grilled tomato, 1 slice of black pudding, 1 shrivelled slice of bacon, 1 cold shrivelled sausage, 1 teaspoon of baked beans!! And I mean a teaspoon, 4 pieces of very small burnt saute potatoes and 1 freshly fried egg. You could tell everything had been cooked a long time and held under a heat lamp apart from the egg. The waitress cooked our toast and brought that to us along with our coffee, needless to say we had double toast!!

Great location and perfect for our one night stop over with our dogs before taking the ferry to Spain.

nicely refurbished, comfortable rooms and great food. Great location to explore Dartmoor and plenty of parking. Good breakfast. Great value for money.
everything was good

Newly refurbished room with good facilities. Breakfast was good but the menu did not reflect exactly what was served, clearly staff hadn't read the menu and the menu in the room was different again. Staff were very friendly on all interactions.
Centre light in room very dim and needs higher wattage bulb. Hairdryer curl cord very tight and power socket at low level making it difficult to use dryer at normal level and when pulled hard to extend curl cord it resulted in plug coming out of socket. Bath quite narrow at shower end.

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay at the Inn. Our room and the facilities were very comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfast and dinner were great. Loved the location, the village is so charming and on the edge of Dartmoor, one of the most beautiful areas in England. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Room very comfortable, love that we could take our dog! The food was incredible. Nice range of beers at the bar, great board games too. Great value. Surrounding area absolutely stunning.
Nothing - all spot on for a great price

Very tastefully decorated, lovely big bathroom hot water and luxury soaps etc liked the settee in the room. Good food and welcoming bar. Help yourself to milk.
Not much of a view from our room a few more tea bags. But we didn't ask and I am sure we would have been given some.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfasts and good value tasty evening meals.
Would prefer to have an earlier breakfast than the 8.30 start time.

The room was very nice, lovely Bramley toiletries, dinner was very nice, and breakfast also very good.
When we arrived in the bar we were ignored by the barman for about 5 mins while he was serving what appeared to be two staff members drinks. While staff are busy I accept we have to wait to be attended to but a polite acknowledgement that we were standing in front of him would have been enough. We eventually had to ask if we had come in the wrong door! Not a very warm welcome at all.

Our room was light and airy. Very comfortable beds.
It's a tough time for hospitality at the moment but breakfast was accompanied by surly staff.

Lovely large bedroom, well equiped. Friendly staff.
The wifi wasn’t great and probably best not to serve avocado at breakfast unless properly ripe …should be smashable but otherwise food great.

it’s modern looking and really well located to access the moors, cities and beaches.
they are so so good for dogs owners to stay and have a great outdoor area to eat and drink as well as a safe area for kids to play.
Staff are so friendly and accommodating.
The menu is good and well priced and food is generous in size.
there is a large tv in the var and access to Wi-Fi through the cloud.
found nothing not to like.
ok the bedroom needed a little decorating repair but the bed was king size and you get a kettle as well as a coffee machine and lovely biscuits in your room .
Our room had a wet room so easy to shower
