About this house rental

This beautiful, four bedroom house is located in a very quiet lane just metres from Culburra Beach. It features a huge undercover entertainer’s deck, ideal for listening to the ocean and catching the cool sea breeze and all the comforts and features necessary for a fun and relaxing family holiday.

Upstairs features one queen bedroom and a trio bunk room containing a double bed on the bottom and a single bed (with safety rails) on top. Downstairs has another queen bed and a bunk room that sleeps 4 children (with an option for a 5th on a trundle bed). Note we do not recommend adults sleep on the top bunks. Sleeps 12 people in total but only 9 adults.

It contains a fully equipped kitchen, large, covered entertainers deck, bathroom (with a bath) and lounge room upstairs plus another lounge room downstairs, a kitchenette, a laundry, a second shower and a separate toilet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The beds have doonas and pillows on them, however you will need to bring sheets, pillow cases and towels with you. Please note we can supply linen for an extra charge of $20 per person.

Attractions

Culburra Beach features two beautiful beaches. The beaches are patrolled during the summer holiday period, and being located on either side of Penguin Head face in different directions, providing a variety of surf conditions for board riders, swimmers, body surfers and families with young children. The surf school and sea kayak hire shop is nearby.

Culburra Beach is perfect for fishing either off the beach, the headland or by boat with easy access at the nearby Crookhaven Heads boat ramp. It is also a dog friendly beach with dogs being allowed off leash between 4pm and 8am.

Tennis and squash courts and the bowling club provide an alternative to the beaches or Nowra is a short 15 minute drive and has a cinema plus many shops and restaurants.

What a gem. We really enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect with the beach just down the road. Great beach for kids. The house has a great size and basically a kids area at the bottom and main living area above.

We had a wonderful week staying here. The house was one of the best equipped we have stayed in- we had everything we needed. The living spaces worked well with plenty of seating for everyone. We loved the beach with our dog making friends with everyone and photographed some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was great to not have to worry about keys on the beach with the coded entry and we were so close we could go there barefoot! Thanks Jeanette and Richard. We are looking forward to returning.

Pros: location and the great covered deck, which we used every day. Cons: besides the bathrooms and floor (which were clean) the house was very dirty. I had to clean the ceiling fan in the main bedroom before I was game to turn it on. The blinds in the bedroom were (and still probably are) filthy. There were no matches and none of the BBQ lighters worked. And the remote for the TV is for a different TV so we could change the volume but had to change channels and turn it on from the buttons on the back of the TV. So all in all, or stay was a bit disappointing and we won’t be staying there again.

This house suited our needs perfectly. It is so well appointed and clean. We have stayed in many holiday homes but this one is next level in terms of what the hosts provide. “All the little extras” is one of the factors that makes this home, a home away from home. And then there is the deck….😌

We had a very chill getaway. The house was so close to the beach and extremely well equipped with plenty of kitchenware and bedding for a large group. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Went away with a group of friends and had a great time. Easy access to the beach, all necessities close by and the property itself is clean, spacious, comfortable and has a great homely feel to it. Jeanette was easy to communicate with and a great host. We’ll be back again next year as a group and a few of the boys are even talking about staying there with our own families when the opportunity arises. Many thanks again!

I stayed here with the extended family and we were so grateful to have a dog friendly beach within one minute’s walk of the place! The kitchen was well equipped and the air con (upstairs) and heaters (downstairs) worked a treat. Some of the mattresses on the beds were a little wiry and squeaky and the place wasn’t exactly spotless when we arrived (perhaps the cleaner had had a bad day) - but it is a cheap and cheerful place ie. great value for money with a location and outlook that’s second to none. The owners were also very communicative and friendly (and the kind offer of early check-in and late checkout before I’d even asked was noted!)

This is our second stay. It is well equipped. It has a great layout and the balcony is perfect for relaxing. Walk to the beach is an easy stroll. Highly recommend.

WE were all totally impressed with the property.......we loved it....so close to beach...so well stocked .....incidentals plus cleaning ....crockery and we only found the games on last day.We wanted to live there and definitely wish to return ...the kids had a ball at beach and the wedding was wonderful.

Jeanette was very quick with responses. The property was well maintained and very spacious. Our dog felt right at home (and he usually doesnt warm to new places!) The property had all the required amenities and is so close to the beach. I would definitely come back here.

Jeanette's house is perfect for families with children. The big covered balcony is great and the downstairs area with bunk beds and games were really appreciated by children and their parents. Jeanette was very accommodating and when at some point we were thinking of cancelling our trip because of the road closures, she was very helpful (luckily it didn't dome to that!) Our family truly enjoyed our time at Ocean Breeze. There was amply space for all 8 of us and amenities were more than adequate. The covered deck area was well used and comfortable with a plenty of chairs and table space, a day bed and Weber BBQ. The back yard is a great size and secure for pets. The property is no more than a casual 5 minute stroll to the water's edge of the dog friendly beach. A little longer stroll will lead you to a well appointed take away and convenience store. Jeanette was very responsive, helpful and a pleasure to communicate with 😊
