The host is very nice, but overall, the experience wasn’t great. First the positives: the apartment is spacious, located right in the Piazza, and has comfortable bed and hot showers. However, it lacked a lot of basic conveniences. There were no hooks or racks for towels in the bathroom, barely any clothesline to hang clothes to dry and insufficient clothespins, no dresser or closet in the master bedroom, empty soap bottle in the second bathroom. The smart function on the TV didn’t work, which is a small issue, but it should have been fixed within a day and after 7 it still wasn’t. My daughter ripped her foot open on a screw protruding from the threshold of her bedroom. The location is awesome but if you’re a light sleeper, beware, as there is often a lot of yelling in the piazza and in the side alley especially at night. For some, these might not be an issue, but others may want to take these into account when deciding where to stay in Siena.

Amazing, cool, artsy, spacious. Giant windows open to beautiful view of Campo. Fantastic location. Superb host.

We were met by Rossella personally when we got to the apartment. Communication was awesome during the entire process. The apartment is just as advertised. The property looks directly over the Campo. Photos of the property look great but to see it with your own eyes will really make you happy about your decision to book this apartment. The place is really big and very clean. Location can’t be beat because you are within 5 to 10 minute walk to great restaurants, Cafe’s, shops and of course Gelato right around the corner. If you are lucky enough to book the apartment do it. You will not be disappointed.

Great apartment and host!

This apartment suited us perfectly! It’s on the Campo and offers a splendid view from both the living room and the primary bedroom. It is spacious and comfortable and very well maintained. The owner, Rosella, was helpful and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Two important things to note: 1. there are 58 steps to the apartment, but it also has a small elevator that makes it easier for anyone not able to make the climb 2. the second bathroom has a very small shower and sink - but is still manageable! This was our second stay - and I hope for a third in the future!

Excellent in every way! Exceeded expectations. My advice is to book immediately if you are lucky enough to have the chance!!

We couldn't have imaged a more perfect apartment overlooking the main public space of the historic city of Siena. Spacious and airy, immaculate and art-filled , impeccably furnished. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious with plenty of hot water. We prepared meals in the well appointed and stocked kitchen. What a joy to walk just down to the Piazza in the evenings for an Aperitif. The windows overlooking the Palazzo Pubblico afforded us the opportunity to see several wedding parties and watch the local parades with drumming and singing as the winning neighborhood of the Palio celebrated their victory. If we ever go back to Siena, we will stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location overlooking Il Campo. The apartment is large and well decorated. The description is not clear that the bathrooms are not en suite to the bedrooms, but that was not a problem for us and bathrobes are provided. While the description indicates a washer and dryer, we could only find a washer and were told by the person who greeted us that there was no clothes dryer. There is however a clothes line outside the kitchen window.

Traveling to a foreign country is not something we do often and so we had some reservations about using an online booking service for this beautiful place. I am happy to report that the condo was gorgeous and the hostess was perfect. She was available(upstairs) but not at all in the way. The beds were comfy and the view.. perfecto!! There is a steep hill as you approach the property(like most of Siena) which may pose a problem for some. Inside there is a lift which is helpful as the condo is on the third floor. Bathrooms were a little challenge but that is part of the Italian experience. Siena is a wonderful city and Rosella a perfect host. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable . She even took care of booking taxis for us.If I ever make it back I would definitely book this condo again. It was the nicest place we stayed in all of Italy!

Everything was lovely and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect for exploring and the apartment perfect for just relaxing and looking out over the Piazza with a lovely glass of chianti. Love the mix of artwork in all the rooms. Grazie Mille Rossella.

This was a clean, huge apartment right on the campo. There were only two of us, but we loved the location of the apartment. We stayed four nights and could easily have stayed for another four. Rosella was charming and helpful. She helped us with many great dinner reservations, transportation and answered all of our questions regarding the apartment. Whenever we return to Siena, this will be our home base.

The apartment is in the heart of Siena overlooking the piazza. It is very spacious, clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for a nice stay. Rossella is an excellent host. She was very helpful with car parking, restaurant reservations and recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is very large, attractive and well finished, and has a high end feel. The apartment is comfortable. Three windows, 2 in the living room and one in the master bedroom have direct views over the famous Siena Campo, directly onto the Palazzo Publico and the Torre Mangia. This is an iconic and incredible view. The kitchen is well furnished, although not outstandingly so. The oven had recently broken down, and after we complained, it was replaced within a day. The apartment is furnished as an art gallery with primarily contemporary art, all for sale, that creates an interesting ambience. The art is a hodge podge, mostly mediocre, and it should be left to each individual to decide whether they like the overall effect or not. Every vacation rental apartment has problems, and this on is not exception. The lighting in the living room is inadequate. There is actually no place within the apartment where one can sit comfortably in the evening and read a book. In the very large entrance hallway there is no coat closet or anywhere to hang a coat. The walk-in shower in the second bathroom has inadequate water pressure. The pressure is not just very low, but it is insufficient to keep the water heater running, so the water cycles between hot and very cold. The shower in the bathtub in the main bathroom works well, but the sides of the tub are quite high. Not a complaint, but just a fact; The building is located on a steep pedestrian ramp. Maneuvering luggage into and out of the building can be difficult. Overall, I don't want to lose sight of the fact that this is a wonderful apartment, and we would be happy to return.

Great space, amazing artwork, centrally located right on the main square. You feel like you’re part of things with windows overlooking the square… weddings, people watching, neighborhood celebrations of the horse races. Bellissima :)

Enjoyed spending at the place with family together. Location was the best for everything (ex. Shopping, restaurants, walking around, and so on) and view from the property was beautiful! We want to go back this place again for sure!

There is no better "base" location than this property to experience the medieval jewel that is Siena. Right on the Piazza del Campo and ideal based on location and views alone! We woke up to the sound of hooves one morning and had the incredible experience of watching a trial run for the Palio at sunrise. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained and decorated. I would strongly recommend following the host's recommendations for what to do, see and eat in Siena - we are already planning our return. I can't recommend Palazzo Giorgi enough!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Siena. Rossella was a great host and took care of our needs and requests the entire time. The apartment worked out perfect for the 4 of us, (my wife and 2 sons). The valet parking worked out just fine, as did our dropoff and pickup. I wouldn't have changed a thing and you can't ask for a better location. When we needed a reservation, Rossella was quick to pickup the phone and take care of us. I would definitely stay here again

The apartment is in the most amazing location looking right over the Piazza del Campo. Opening the windows and looking out over the bustling square below was incredible. The apartment had everything we needed and is a great size. With very high temperatures outside, it was a real luxury to retreat to the aircon-cooled bedrooms. We loved Siena and the apartment!

Remarkable apartment
This has to be the prime apartment in Siena. We were fortunate to have concerts happening outside the window two of the nights we were there. Absolutely fantastic. The space was well laid out and gave ample room for our family. This would be definitely a place we would come back to when we revisit Siena. Everything flowed nicely with the driver drop off and the pick up and we felt like we were a part of Siena. I can’t say enough nice things about this apartment and its location.

Perfect apartment in Siena!
What a gorgeous apartment with the most remarkable view of Il Campo. We were able to watch the process of Il Palio from beginning to almost end (we left the day before the main race) and the pride and tradition of the people of Siena is incredible to see. Rosella was a fabulous host and made us some excellent dinner reservations. We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Perfect location!
We were amazed about everything this property had to offer. The apartment is centrally located, beautifully decorated, comfortable and has stunning views.
Rossella was always responsive to my questions, she connected us to a local tour guide who was fantastic and she provided sightseeing and restaurant recommendations that we absolutely loved. She was the perfect host.
We only wished we stayed longer and used this as our base for visiting Tuscany. We are already planning to come back! Don’t miss out on this property!

Best Location in Siena
We stayed at the apartment for eight nights in April 2022. It is very spacious, clean, and well-appointed with interesting modern art. There is an elevator, although it is hilariously slow. You will use it to go up with your suitcases when you arrive and down with your suit cases when you leave. Otherwise, there is a well-lit staircase.
The view from the apartment is spectacular. You are directly on the Campo with views of the tower on the square from the living room and bedroom. Be sure to use the black-out curtains in the bedroom (it took us one night to figure this out) as the square and therefore your bedroom are well-lit at night.
In this apartment, you are walking distance to literally everything in Siena that you might want to do. Walking distance to every sight and every restaurant. Literally you are a five-minute walk from everything.
There are two bathrooms, and the tub/shower in the larger bathroom is bit of a problem. The hand-held shower head does not fit into its overhead holder, so it falls with a loud bang as soon as you turn on the water. You are forced to hold it or set it down in the tub in which case it sprays everywhere. Also, the tub didn't drain well. Since we were just the two of us, we used the other bathroom for showers and it wasn't a problem. If you were two couples in this apartment, each trying to use one bathroom, it would be a problem.
The only other thing I would say is that this apartment definitely needs a microwave oven for reheating coffee.
That said, let me say that we LOVED our time in this apartment in Siena. We were taking language classes at Saena Iulia, and the school was a three-minute walk from the apartment. We took a wine class at the Tuscan Wine School, and it was a three-minute walk. We took a wine tour to Montalcino/Montepulciano/Pienza, and they picked us up one minute from the apartment. Our fellow students at the school were very jealous!
You will not be sorry if you decide to splurge on this apartment. It is a bit expensive (so I think they should spring for a microwave!!), but worth every penny if you want a memorable stay in the beautiful city of Siena.
Thank you Rosella (and especially Valeria, Rosella's sister, who welcomed us and was so helpful and responsive in getting us dinner reservations our first night in town when we were exhausted and hungry).

IF YOU WANT THE BEST OF SIENA, STAY HERE!!
From the initial booking of our reservation to the end of our stay, everything was exceptional. Rossella was the perfect property manager and any information or service that we needed was provided.
She set up a parking and driving service that brought us straight to the apartment. This was important because the City of Siena has restricted zones. We could get our car in and out as many times as we needed it, 24 hours a day. You don't have to use this service, but we found it to be of great benefit.
The apartment was outstanding and just as it is shown in the VRBO photos. It was super clean and spacious. The view of the Piazza del Campo was amazing and it was literally one minute from the apartment. The location of the apartment was central to everything you might need and 5 minutes to the Duomo (a must see).
Rossella's restaurant recommendations were great and there are many others to choose from. Shopping, bakeries, grocery and wine stores are all minutes from the apartment.
Like we said, if you want a great experience in Siena, stay here. We will be back!!

Beautiful Il Campo apartment
Rossella was amazing and so sweet! The parking service she hooked us up with was fantastic. The apartment is large and lovely and we so enjoyed it for our 2 weeks there.

Great location in a fabulous city.
Nice apartment. Very large, all the modern conveniences. Take advantage of the paid valet parking as it is a long walk with luggage through the town if you dont. Otherwise it drops you off next to apartment. Hosts were nice and check=in went smooth except for new wifi box which they quickly fixed. Only problem was air conditioning. Only two units, one in each bedroom. With the record heat we had it could not keep up and the apartment barely cooled down, but it was 104 outside. One more AC unit would have made it perfect.

It just doesn’t get better than this!
Absolutely outstanding! Tremendous apartment. Incredible location. The owner could not have been more responsive or helpful. To have a lift in a building this old is remarkable. The renovation that was done is incredible. I am not into lavishing superlatives however this apartment warrants them. If you settle for less in lovely Siena, shame on you!

excellent location and wonderful
Rosella was fantastic from initial reservation through check out. The property is spacious, well decorated (fantastic artwork), comfortable, and convenient to exploring Siena and the surrounding area. And Rosella - she was very timely in responding to my email questions; her directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow; and her recommendations were reliable and spot on. She arranged parking which was extremely convenient and efficient. She went above and beyond with a water heater issue on a holiday and resolved it in a very timely manner. The apartment is great and Rosella made the experience even better.

Outstanding!!
Palazzo Giorgi was absolutely perfect in every way! The only downside was leaving! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the location could not be better. Rosella and Costanza are wonderful. It’s a very special place and I sincerely hope to return.

Best place to stay in Siena
I can't imagine a better location to stay in Siena. Quite spectacular views out the windows as shown in the description photos. Nice new and clean kitchen. My wife and I bought some wonderful food at local gourmet shops (5 minute walk) and cooked a feast. This was a treat after many restaurant meals during our prior Italy travels. Rosella was quick to respond to all messages and met us for a quick check-in. This is the best place to stay in Siena.

Beautiful Apartment with a view
We spent 2 nights in Siena. The rooms were clean, spacious, well appointed and beautiful artwork. The location was wonderful and everything was accessible. The only snafu we ran into was driving our car through the center of Siena as it is not clearly marked to do not enter. Google takes you through the town to reach the parking garage.
Overall a Great experience .
