The villa itself was absolutely perfect for our group of six, 4 adults and two teenagers. Very nicely presented and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there, in mid August it’s very hot, and the villa does get warm but the shutters work well to keep the sun out during the day. The pool area is just lovely so clean and well maintained, my only thought is a few sun umbrellas would be great round the pool, it faces due south and is a sun trap ! The lady who runs the house was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, couldn’t ask for more !

We enjoyed the stay very much. The Apartment is well equipped. The children were happy about the empty pool. In 15 minutes you can walk to the promenade. The restaurants in Gardone are also highly recommended and can be easily reached on foot.

In one word: FANTASTIC
This stay is superb. You will stay in a nice accommodation. You can completely relax in the garden and the swimming pool provides the necessary cooling.
Everything is available. 3 large rooms, neat sanitary facilities and a kitchen with all comforts. A private garage completes the picture!

The property was in a fabulous location with views of the lake. A great swimming pool & clean accommodation. The rooms downstairs were very damp but soon sorted by a very helpful host who brought 2 new dehumidifiers. Loved every minute of our stay

Wonderful house for our family stay. Great Lake views, pool and a little backyard to play in. It was a bit of a hike up the hill, but very centrally located to walk to shops, restaurants, ferries and the grocery store. Mara was really quick to respond and helpful with all of our questions. We would come back!!

Mara , our host , has given a profound reception and was always at our disponibility if we had problems, wishes of any information. it was a fantastic stay and the weather has contributed a lot. we had fantastic and tough biker tours with bici rent , our Guide Roberto of Salo.

Great location to go up/down lake. Great pool that hardly used as other units in complex mainly weekend visits from Milan. Plenty of space in apartment and nice private garden area. 10 minutes walk to get to restaurants and shops or down to the main Gardone ferry/restaurants area.

Amazing stay
This was one of the best properties that we have stayed at. It is even better than the pictures make it look. Immaculately clean and very well presented and Mara was available to help with any queries. The walk up from the lakeside is a bit steep but well worth it for the amazing views. The pool is perfect and the back garden is great for breakfast and pre-dinner drinks. There are great local restaurants just a short walk away and the harbour at Salo is beautiful and great in the evening. The ferry to other parts of the lake is about a 20 minute walk away which we used instead of having a car.
We can't wait to come again and are already planning our return visit with friends next year. Thank you Mara for a wonderful stay.

Tolle Ferienwohnung und Mara ist ein super Host
Wir waren als Familie 7 Tage zu Gast bei Mara in der Ferienwohnung und hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt. Die Residenz liegt auf einem Berg und vom Pool hat man einen super Blick auf den Gardasee der zum Träumen einlädt. Hinter der Ferienwohnung befindet sich eine Terrasse und ein kleiner Garten, welcher ein super Rückzugsort ist und wo man in Ruhe frühstücken kann. Wir waren mit 6 Personen in der Ferienwohnung und es war alles vorhanden.
Zusammenfassend eine super ruhige Ferienwohnung die Entspannung bietet. Aber auch Ausflüge kann man gut Unternehmen. Die Uferpromenade ist ca.500m Fußweg zu erreichen. Von dort aus kann man weitere Orte bequem mit dem Boot erreichen. Auch Limione ist innerhalb von 1 Stunde mit dem Bus zu erreichen.

Fabulous Place
We stayed for a week with three generations (2 kids, parents and grandparents). The flat is really well equipped with many thoughtful additions and was beautifully prepared. The pool was just opened and due to the cooler weather mid April the water was still rather cold (not heated). The kids went in daily nonetheless and the pool looks really inviting and large enough to do some swimming.
All people in the other flats were very friendly, also the couple in the flat above.
The location is great, up higher with a beautiful view but in walking distance to a bakery, shop and the promenade with restaurants.
All of the interaction with Mara before, during and after our stay was very nice.
We are looking forward to coming back sometime.

Erholung und Ruhe in einer wunderschönen Umgebung
Mein Mann und ich sind Mitte September, für 10 Tage vor Ort gewesen. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Das Wetter war die meiste Zeit sommerlich warm, nur ab und zu ein Regenschauer. Die Ferienwohnung hat uns gut gefallen. Alles war genau so wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung war sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
Mara ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Die Kommunikation hat von Anfang an prima funktioniert. Sie war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar ein paar Sonderwünsche erfüllt, wie zum Beispiel Nespresso Kaffeemaschine und Check in am frühen Vormittag. Das war ganz wunderbar.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle, ruhige Lage und der grandiose Ausblick über den See. Es lohnt sich den kurzen Weg bergauf (ca. 500 Meter) zu fahren. Wir sind mit einem Multivan angereist und problemlos oben angekommen. Auch das Parken in der Anlage ist gut. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze und auch eine Tiefgarage.
Die meiste Zeit sind wir jedoch mit unserer Vespa unterwegs gewesen. Ein super Fortbewegungsmittel am See.
Die Anlage ist genau das Richtige, wenn man zur Ruhe kommen möchte. Alles ist ruhig und sehr gepflegt. Die meiste Zeit hatten wir den Pool für uns alleine.
Das Einzige was uns "gestört" hat ist ein Eigentümer aus dem ersten Stock (nicht die Gastgeberin), der penibelst auf die Einhaltung der Hausordnung geachtet hat (keine Handtücher auf der Terrasse, keine Getränke am Pool, feste Plätze für die Sonnenliegen etc.).
Wir haben Mara darüber unterrichtet und sie hat versprochen mit dem Herrn zu reden. An dieser Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank, dass Du Dich auch dieses Anliegen bemüht hast.
Das Fazit lautet: Alles wunderbar und wir kommen gerne wieder 😃

Wunderbare Wohnung und tolle Lage.
Ich war mit meiner Frau und den Kids in Maras Wohnung und habe den Urlaub sehr genossen. Pool und eigene Terrasse mit Garten sind die Highlights.

Ausblick und mehr
Das Apartment liegt wunderbar mit Blick auf den Gardasee. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment. Es war "fast" alles vorhanden, was für den Aufenthalt wichtig war. Bei sechs Personen wünschte man sich schon eine Spülmaschine - das ist aber eher ein Luxuxproblem :-)
Eine Kaffeemaschine hatten wir mitgebracht.
Zu bemängeln wäre, dass wir nur einen Schlüsselsatz zur Verfügung hatten, was bei drei Paaren einen besonderer organisatorischen Aufwand erforderte. Am Pool standen für uns nur zwei Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung. Auf Grund einer hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit in den unten gelegenen Räumen, musste man über den gesamten Tag einen Luftentfeuchter eingeschaltet haben.

Schönes Haus
Das Haus hat ein schönes Ambiente und liegt ruhig in der Anlage mit wundervollem Blick zum Gardasee.
Leider darf man sich vor dem Haus nicht aufhalten um die Sonne zu genießen. Die zwei Zimmer im Keller haben zwar ein Fenster welches sich bei näherem Hinsehen als Lichtschacht entpuppte. Eines der Kellerzimmer beinhaltet versteckt in einem Schrank die Gas-Therme des Hauses. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist etwas spartanisch (keine Spülmaschine, keine Kaffeemaschine (nur mehrere Espressokocher). Die oben wohnenden Besitzer passen auf dass die Hausordnung bis aufs Detail eingehalten wird.
Schwierige Anfahrt für Motorradfahrer zum Haus und zur Tiefgarage.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit dort mit unserer Grossfamilie
Mara eine super nette Vermieterin. Wir sind von ihr so toll empfangen worden, obwohl wir viel zu spät angekommen sind. Das Appartement extrem sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es wurde da an alles gedacht (Mundschutz, Mückenspray, Wundpflaster usw.) alles einfach da. Die Anlage selbst auch schön angepflanzt und ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Der Pool mega schön mit Blick auf den Gardasee. Wir waren so gut wie immer alleine im Pool. Das Appartement, sowie die Anlage sehr zu empfehlen.

Absolutely perfect!
We had a perfect stay in Mara’s appartment. The place is exactly as in the photo’s. Everything super clean. There were even face masks and desinfectant available to comply with the Covid19 regulations. The pool was fantastic and the view even more so! The appartment is really situated in the most beautiful region around Lake Garda, nice and not too crowdy. The Vittoriale is at walking distance through the beautiful surrounding hills. Mara was always immediately available. Thank you Mara for our lovely holiday at lake Garda...

Mara's apartment is roomy, clean and has everything you need for a great holiday on Lake Garda. With two cool, dark bedrooms on the lower ground floor, our teenagers slept really well, whilst the large double bedroom on the ground floor has its own ensuite.
The living and kitchen area is well equipped and comfortable, and the back garden terrace is a lovely place to eat out in the evening. The pool is large and clean and there were always sunbeds and tables available.
The area is perfect for exploring the lake, and we also had a couple of days round the pool, strolling down to the lake and eating in one of the many restaurants.
Mara was very communicative and lovely, and we're very happy we found this lovely place to stay.

Schöne Anlage in sehr ruhiger Lage
Das Apartment ist sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, auch das Kochen ist gut möglich. Wir waren 5 Personen und hatten genug Platz, wobei die Ausstattung für 4 Personen besser geeignet wäre. Für 6 Personen wäre es hingegen meiner Meinung nach zu eng geworden.
Auch die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Der Pool lädt zum Schwimmen ein, allerdings ist das Wasser Ende Mai noch zu kalt gewesen.
Die Lage ist sehr ruhig mit einer tollen Aussicht auf den See. Für Ausflüge ist man allerdings auf das Auto angewiesen.
Mara war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Unsere Anreise hatte sich sehr verspätet, aber auch das war kein Problem.
Das einzige was mich etwas gestört hat, waren die Betten, die für meinen Geschmack zu hart und etwas zu schmal (mit 1,4 m für 2 Personen) waren.
Alles in Allem hatten wir hier einen schönen Urlaub.

Great stay at Mara's apartment
We had a lovely stay at Mara's apartment - its a beautiful spot overlooking Lake Garda in a peaceful, immaculate apartment block with a shared pool. There's lots to do locally or its within easy driving distance of all that Lake Garda has to offer. We enjoyed Gardone's promenade by the lake for its bars and restaurants (or just coffee & ice-cream..), Rimbalzello for pizza by their pool and nearby town Salo for its museum and shopping. We missed having air con during our stay, but it was the hottest week of the summer and we survived! Mara was very quick to respond during our stay, and we really appreciated her welcome basket of Italian goodies when we arrived. Highly recommended!..

Great views of Lake Garda
We had a great time at Mara’s apartment. It’s set up the hill from the lake with great views.
There are a number of apartments around a shared pool which is superb, great for little ones learning to swim. The apartment is very nicely furnished, the 2 bedrooms in the basement were nice and cool and the main bedroom is nicely out with big cupboards. There is a nice garden and terrace at the back which gets the afternoon sun.
Mara was very welcoming and on hand for any questions.
We have 3 kids who had a great time and they would recommend staying!

We had an amazing time in this house, which is even better than the pictures show. Having been to Lake Garda many times we stayed somewhere different this time and we were very glad that we found this place. The views are stunning and the pool area fantastic; busier at the weekends but still always beds and a peaceful place to relax! The house (and the rest of the buildings in the property) looks amazing, is very well looked after and has everything you could need and with two bedrooms downstairs, providing natural coolness, we could sleep comfortably as well (great idea).
10 minutes down the hill from the house (which we walked everyday although we are not particularly fit) we found the cafe/bar for snacks and drinks and the bakery, as well as the Spar supermarket (we did drive for supplies!). There is also a high ropes/tree adventure park that looks fun. A short further walk and we were in Gardone Riviera itself with its beautiful promenade and lakeside restaurants. There were also craft stalls and live music a couple of times whilst we were there. Everything you could want on your doorstep but you can also get the passenger ferry from Gardone to access the rest of the lake, or the car ferry from Maderno, which is a 10 minute drive further on. Inland there are also places of interest (within walking distance if you want) including the house Il Vittoriale the eccentric poet, which is well worth a visit, if nothing else but to see the ship and to eat in one of the nearby pretty restaurants.
Overall this was a superb place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend Mara’s house, which was amazing. We will be back. Thank you.
