Lila made us feel like home from the moment we walked in. Not only she greeted us with a smile and genuine enthusiasm, but she also offered us an extra room at no expense to make our stay more comfortable. Lila pointed us to all the best places to visit on this beautiful island, including the magnificent Katouni bridge. She's the best!!! Other things we liked was the brand new looking facilities, great breakfast and excellent location right next to the beach.
Nothing I can think of.

The hotel was more than hospitable, the employees were very polite and helpuful. Breakfast was great. Dozen of options from sour to sweet and fruits. The location is really ideal because you can swim whenever you like to the hotel's private beach. I defenitely recommend Anesis hotel for your vacations.
Just one thing, the coffee...

The receptionist " Lila " made our stay a 1000 times better, forgot about the downsides.
Mattress was not comfortable!
The main hotel smelled at times. (Sewer) but I guess the whole island has these issues.

Checkin was very efficent and quick. The rooms were spacious with an incredible vieiw and a lovely little balcony. 10 minute walk to restaurants and bars along the beachfront road. The staff at Anesis were amazing, so friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the service was impecable. A big thankyou to Lila at reception she greeted us with a big smile and made our stay extra special she is amazing at her job. The breakfast was nice with a beautiful veiw. Ample parking and beach that is great to swim at straight across the road with chairs and umbrellas for a small price.

Leela was the friendliest, most helpful, and overall best hotel employee I've ever met in my many travels. She and my fiance exchanged contact information in hopes of staying in touch.

Brand new hotel, right next to the beach. Staff were so kind and accommodating and responded to our needs immediately. Quiet location but very close to the organised beach of the area, as well as lots of cool restaurants and cafes by the seaside. I particularly recommend Thea Thalassa
Everything was fantastic

Exceptional all around. staff very helpful. room was spotless and modern. view to the water was unobstructed. Breakfast was fantastic. superb location at the beach, and easy walking to restaurants. WiFi was very fast in room and all parts of hotel
had to hold the shower head to wash hair, but this was passed to hotel management and they acknowledged that it was something they would look into.

The hotel is welcoming and located close to the beach where we had a lot of fun in the waves.
We liked the walk to Aghia Pelagia where we found some good restaurants.
The breakfast was not exceptional.

The hotel is located just across the beach. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly at the same time. The hotel is extremely clean. The rooms are simple but comfortable with a cute balcony. The breakfast was fine.
The only negative I can find is the location in terms of being a little far away from the Kythera center and the bigger villages. I have nothing bad to say for the hotel though!
8.0
Fantastic location quiet and close to the village's restaurants bars and super Market. Listening to the sea waves during the night was mesmerizing.
Breakfast could be of better quality as far as coffee and orange juice is concerned. An upgrade of drinks is indispensable.

Excellent location, on a quite beach and 10 min walk to all the restaurants

Lovely hotel on the quiet side of the Agia Pelagia beach, beautiful view of the sea, staff friendly and warm, felt at home and safe as a sole female traveller in the off season. Good breakfast had every morning on the cute terrace just meters from the beach. Good wifi. A short pleasant walk to restaurants and shop. Couldn't wish for more.

Hotel staff were very kind and helpful!! Location of hotel was wonderful, near cafes and restaurants. It was nice to be able to hear ocean waves from our room. Good Wi-Fi service.
Breakfast needs to have more variety.
4.6
Great location. The room is new and modern, the windows are provided with nets; there are safety box, fridge and a kettle. The location is quite and at less than 10-minute-walk from shops.
Shame we couldn't enjoy this front beach location. Despite having booked online the most expensive twin room in the list (€81.5 per night) with five months in advance, apparently booking.com was to blame for having secured us what we thought was a front-sea view room ( I made a complaint with hotel and website). It is not clear if you can book it online nor how much it would cost. Anyway, it was 'kindly' given us a side-sea-view room, which is a small room, with new modern decor, facing a building and some uncultiveted grass with a very tiny balcony and two 'embedded' chairs, of which only a lucky one facing the sea. Also the room layout, could be improved, in fact, if only the beds were placed on the opposite side of the wall, it would have been us to enjoy the sea-view instead of the fridge. Anyway, for the price I was expecting a bit more. I must say, this part of Greece is more expensive than anywhere else I have been before. The shower hasn't got a head holder above your head (just one at waist height, quite popular in this island). I found pillows and matress uncomfortable and the fridge had a noisy vibration quite loud in the night. Cleaning was ok, a part from the two forgotten eggs and a long hair in the fridge, the day of our arrival. The modern hotel has reception, stairs and breakfast room in a huge hall close to freezing temperature so it doesn't feel cosy. Breakfast was only set indoors despite the beachfront location. What is the point to be in such a great location if you do not take advantage from it, I wonder? Coffee wasn't good, the orange juice was from the box and fruit mainly from tins. Eggs overcooked with a funny taste while Greek cakes were really nice. In the whole, it looks like that the hotel it is not thought for customers to enjoy it.
