Great studio with all the feelings of home.

Great place to stay. Better than a hotel room by far. Private studio well equipped with the basics. Warm atmosphere, friendly guests. Great courtyard view in front and door in back opens up to pool. Will definitely stay here again.

Beste Zimmer auf unserer Reise in Florida, jederzeit wieder!!

Ein wunderschönes Zimmer, neue und sehr moderne Einrichtung, einfach TOP!! Großer Kühlschrank, super Herd. War unser bestes Zimmer, was wir in FL hatten. Am Abend oder unser Frühstück konnten wir am Balkon genießen, mit Blick aufs Pool und den schönen Pflanzen. Sehr nette Nachbarn gehabt, denen konnten wir unsere Lebensmittel geben, die wir nicht mehr mitnehmen konnten. Würde es sofort wieder buchen.:-)

Our last day at the hotel was in 2020 which I must say it needed an update, This time around the whole unit was updated beautifully. I will definitely stay there again.

Very pleasant experience!

The room was newly renovated with a great taste. Kitchen and bathroom equipped with all necessities. New, clean and pretty. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. They try to meet your requirements going above and below. For example, you can enter your room earlier or later then it is written in the rules. You can leave your luggage and pick it up later.

There is no grocery stores in close proximities. No café where you can have breakfast or quick snack. Restaurants are a bit farther away and always full. If you travel without car, it could be a bit of a problem. Most people are coming with a car, though.

I had a great experience and would come back

The place is super nice, I really liked the room, it was quite big, the pool area was very relaxing. I didn't have a car and it didn't interfere with my vacation as the property is in a great area with lots of bars and restaurants around.

Great location but quality is not up to expectation

The facility is very much warned out and quality of air in the room was so bad that my husband experienced asthma attack would never stay there again . As well although check up time is 3 pm the office was closed for weekend from Friday 4p,m?? The staff was very friendly and the admin is simply was waiting for our arrival

Deux nuits dans cet appartement hôtel bien agréables

Appartement ouvrant sur deux côtés au rez-de-chaussée, pas loin de la piscine. Pas de bruit. Parking pour la voiture. Appartement entier avec tout à se servir. Les personnes qui nous ont reçus bien agréables. La piscine qui est un atout aussi. On se sentait bien.

Evidemment si vous voulez de l'intimité, prenez l'appartement en haut pour que vous puissiez ouvrir en grand votre porte sans vis à vis. A mon sens, je ne vois rien d'autre à dire.

We enjoyed our stay very much and will return when we visit Fort Lauderdale again.

We stayed in a newly renovated Suite that included a full, nicely equipped kitchen. The King Size bed was very comfortable and the Pool was a big plus. We also enjoyed relaxing in the lounge chairs. The other guests were friendly. We were also very happy that the Green Island Inn is further North from the rowdy Spring Break area!

No matter how we adjusted the temperature for the air conditioners, it always felt too cold. It would be helpful if the owners would print an instruction sheet explaining how to adjust the temperature and fan speed.

Perfekt mitten am Strand aber ruhig und romantisch

Die Unterkunft ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand. Besser geht es nicht. Es liegt komplett im Grünen, wie in einem großen Garten. Ruhig und romantisch mit eigener Terrasse. In der Küche gibt es alles, was man zum Frühstück und um einen Snack zubereiten braucht.

Already booked again

Very quaint, had one of the remodeled rooms. BEAUTIFUL and had everything you need, kitchenette with all cookware. Coffee maker, toaster. Two blocks East for the beach, easy walk west to the water taxi, restaurants and just a few minutes further local bars. If you remember the original Melrose Place(TV) this was a Deja vue, rooms are situated around a pool that reminded me of the show. Great for cruisers layovers, full time cruiser in need of the onsite affordable laundry. Ironing board in room.

My only wish for was the location of nearest real grocery store, I travel without a rental car. I ubered the 2 miles. BUT, a brand new Publix is being built now. It’s a quick less than 5 min walk, two blocks further there is a Walgreens so everything you need.

Great Value for the location with brand new remodeled rooms and a 5 min walk to the beach!

The room was recently remodeled and was excellent, we had a King suite and the bed was very comfortable. There was a full sized fridge, facilities to cook and the shower/bathroom was a nice size and all brand new. Access to the beach was great with approx 5min walk through a stunning neighborhood and there were some great restaurants and bars very close by with live bands.

The pool heater wasn't working, so we never used the pool. Luckily we had friends just down the street with a heated pool so we were able to use that one. The grounds are a bit overgrown but overall the best value for the location.

Location is nice beach is one street over Quiet areas.Staff nice,Agnes very nice went over and beyond to make sure our late check in was a breeze Bed is soon comfortable. Stove, microwave coffee pot, hair dryer and refrigerator in room was a asset.Nice siting shaded area out back of each room was nice.

Couldn't sleep , didn't really feel safe with glass french front doors

The air-conditioner was way too loud and would turn on and off several times waking us up every time. Bathroom was alarmingly small and the toilet would move when sitting.

Great place at a great price.

Very nice older style property with lots of character, good pool, tropical garden type grounds. Large room, comfortable bed, well equipped with kitchen. Walking distance to beach and restaurants, good price.

They provide a coffee machine - but no coffee, so bring your own. Also the old air con units only just deal with the heat and humidity but new ones are being installed.

Great place to stay if you're in and out and about!

The front yard had a lot of greenery which attracted us to the place (bring your bug repellant) It was better than we expected. The bed was a large king bed and it was very plushy and comfortable. We was surprised at that. The studio has a small kitchen and small bathroom. It is a very old school look but pleasant Just as seen in the photos and reviews. The staff was very communicative before, and during the trip which we appreciated very much.

The backyard needed some upgrading. Pool needed maintenance which we had to ask about. The staff stated they were having it looked at which I appreciated it. We did not get to go into the pool. The scent in the area is strong, it is walking distance from the beach and the beach smells like old seaweed. That's mother nature and not a reflection of the establishment. Other than that it was good.

Happy to recommend Green Island at this price and accept the possible problems

This is a good value, basic motel accommodation in a good location. It is not trying to be or wants to be a luxury 4 star hotel. Good simple motel style hotel. If you want luxury please book a 4 or 5 star hotel for 3 or 4 times what it costs to stay here. Big rooms, fridges, microwaves, nice pool, bus stops close by, water taxi stop at Shooters 10 mins walk away, restaurants and shops nearby. Beach across the road.

You must be aware the front office is closed at the weekends. So whenever you arrive you either need to call someone or find John who lives on the property. If you are not from the USA please make sure you can make a phone call. John and Agnes are good people. Once you contact them they will look after you. Both very helpful people but you need to call or find them if you have any questions, need bags storing, etc. Not sure why the front desk is closed on the 2 busiest check in / out days. Air con is old and noisy but is a continuous drone. I slept ok with ear plugs in. Fixtures and fittings are old and dated. All buildings and grounds are not looked after or kept to a high standard. It is a peaceful oasis amongst the skyrises but could do with some TLC. Sorry to say the price point does attract some "interesting" guests. Everyone has the right to enjoy their holiday as they wish. Some people like to drink and take drugs around the pool all day. There is a smell of weed coming from rooms. They can be very loud and noisy. They can make you feel uncomfortable by the pool or sitting outside your room. But you could be lucky. We had 2 days that had no one around the pool. It is just luck of the draw who is staying here when you are. Overall we did enjoy our stay and happy to recommend Green Island at this price and accept the possible problems

This hotel is like a small retreat. It's a good place to just relax which we did prior to our cruise. Having a kitchen is a plus, parking is available (we didn't need it), and it was a good price! The pool is pretty but we didn't use it.

Well, the AC is a window model and it blew directly on the bed. It's noisy and made it difficult for us to sleep. The toilet flushed slowly and inefficiently. It's 2 stories, we were on the 2nd floor and had to carry our luggage (2...48 lb. suitcases) up & down the stairs & we're in our 70s!.
