About this house rental
This spacious 1 bedroom 1 story Barn has recently been converted transforming it into an ideal luxurious relaxing getaway for couples. The Barns at High Park were originally built in the late 1800's and are situated in the heart of the North Devon coastline. It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.
The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.
This barn features a solid oak super king bed in the master bedroom, all new solid oak furniture, airconditioning, leather sofas, LED lighting and underfloor heating.
The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.
The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

Just back from a lovely holiday at High Park farm just what we needed the accommodation was very clean and the cream tea left for us was yummy, the swimming pool and hot tub was very clean and we liked the fact there was a rota so everyone could enjoy it on their own. The Thatched Inn at Abbotsham was nice and we were made to feel welcome we had 2 meals there which were excellent

This is our second stay at High Park Barns and can quite honestly say that it is the best place we have stayed in North Devon. Beautiful cottages, finished to a high quality. Stunning and idyllic location and everything you need. Highly recommended and will be back again soon to stay at High Park Barns!!

We are returning customers and love to stay at High Park. Ann Louise and Paul are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. A private swim also appeals with the swim schedule making sure you can have the pool every day and plan around the schedule. Excellent pubs locally and the Atlantic village is a stones throw away although you would never know in this quiet haven with green views.
Self catering but all essentials provided with a warm welcome of scones and a pint of milk from the local farm milk kiosk. Other places we have stayed supply nothing.
Already booked to stay again.

The property was perfect for a couple and dog. Close to amenities and beaches, but also rural with lovely views. The barn has been converted to a high spec, with modern fixtures and fittings, and plenty of room to spread out. The pool is an added bonus. Everything was sparkling clean and communication over directions and check in was clear and easy.

10/10 across the board, outstanding facilities with gorgeous views. Close enough to Bideford and westward ho! But felt secluded enough to be able to relax completely.
Can't wait to return and enjoy it all again.

We can't fault our stay. It was 5* all round and we wouldn't hesitate to recomment ---a beautiful property with so many extra special touches --from the scones and milk on arrival to the swimming to the warm welcome. We loved our stay and so much to do in the area too.

From the moment you arrived until you leave you will be in a bubble. Everything is perfect. The views, the barns, the swimming pool and hot tube. Easy access to any beaches around and country side things to visit and do.
The owners are a fabulous couple, always happy to help.
This is our second time coming and we already book for next year.
Do not change anything here, it’s just perfect the way it is.

This must be one of the best if not the best of all the holiday accommodation that we have stayed in with our dogs, location,facilities,cleaning,all very well organised even down to the hose pipe and outside tap to wash the dogs muddy paws !!

We stayed in molesworth barn and it’s faultless.
The attention to detail, quality and set up are just excellent.
The facilities are brilliant with a lovely pool and hot tub.
The grounds are amazing as well and so clean.
It’s a short drive to some lovely coastal towns and near enough the Cornwall border you get to plenty.

So glad that a change of holiday dates meant our original hotel not available as High Park much better than a dog friendly room in a hotel. More space to relax and very user friendly for our 2 year old spaniel who quickly became very independent exploring the grounds with us sure he was secure. The wire around the base of wooden fencing not clear in photos and very unobtrusive but really reassuring

What an ideal place to stay for a trip to North Devon. The barn we stayed in had everything we needed both inside and out. Parking was very close. We had a great time and recommend this venue.

This is the third time we have stayes at Molesworth Barn and we would really struggle to find fault. It is well located and very peaceful and the facilites in the accommodation are excellent.

The barn itself is very nicely appointed, with all the utensils and facilities you are likely to need for two people. We usually cooked at least one meal each day when the wind and rain meant we didn't much fancy heading outside.
There is a very large bed with good bedding and towels provided. There are TVs in both rooms with decent Freeview reception. Heating is under-floor and worked well. The dogs really enjoyed the warm floor.
The Wi-Fi is pretty good, but speeds drop dramatically when all the adjacent barns are occupied, especially if there are lots of kids each with their own connected devices. Initially we found we couldn't connect to our own barn's Wi-Fi, but could to another barn's system, so perhaps it can only handle a small number of connections to each barn.
The bathroom was newly redecorated and worked well, with plenty of hot water available at all times.
The pool and hot tub were very nice to have available. There is a time slot allocated to each property every day. Most of these were not convenient for us and, although there are first-come, first-served slots for the rest of the day, we'd have preferred a pre-booking system so you don't get your swimming gear together and head off to the pool only to find someone else got their first.
Car parking was fine. We never had a problem getting a space outside our barn.
The location is fairly remote with no public footpaths or convenient dog walks nearby. You can't easily walk to any shops either, so a car is a must. It's then only a few minutes to lots of supermarkets and Atlantic Village retail centre. We knew this before booking as we'd stayed here before and were fine with it.
We cycled into Bideford which involves travelling on the surprisingly busy road at the end of the driveway, and then onto the main road past Atlantic Village with occasional shared cycle paths. Once in the town you can get onto the Tarka Trail towards Meath or Barnstaple quite easily.

5 stars is not enough. The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable. The owners made us very welcome and were available at any time (even though our stay was over Christmas!). Thank you so much for a very restful and enjoyable few days. We will be back again.

Had a relaxing stay with everything we needed to make it so. The extra touches such as the milk and scones were very much appreciated. The swimming pool was fantastic and made our stay extra special. Shame it was only 2 nights. Highly recommend to friends and family

Had a great stay at Molesworth. The accommodation is of a high standard - clean, all the necessary utensils etc, great bed and good bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for more! Plus the added bonus of a pool and hot tub is great - perfect for taking our baby swimming! Highly recommend!

Molesworth Barn
The setting is fabulous and the Barn had everything we needed. The air conditioning which was really appreciated with this hot weather. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, everywhere was very clean and tidy. The cream tea was a lovely treat after a long journey.

The Perfect Place to Stay
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Molesworth Barn. On arrival apart from how beautiful the Barn and Location was we were so impressed with how clean and fresh everything was - the cleanest place we have ever stayed through Air BNB for sure! The little touches like the scones and Milk in the fridge were brilliant and make all the difference, and we have everything we needed in the Barn which is very intelligently designed for the stay. Our little dog Luna had the best time too, ability to just let her out with little to no worry about traffic as the only traffic were other people staying in the Barns. The Hot Tub / Swimming Pool time slots worked really well with no issues at all - and again a lovely extra for the stay. We cannot recommend this highly enough - we will be back!

Great place to go back to again and again.
My second visit and it’s great to know that the facilities are excellent. Comfy bed, crisp sheets, the sort of kitchen tools that you’d have at home and a great welcome for my dog. With the luxury of the swimming pool and hot tub, it makes a relaxing break that isn’t weather dependent.

First class Accomodation!
Extremely happy with Molesworth Barn, Everything you could possibly need and more. Super king bed, TV in bedroom, Kitted out kitchen, Coffee machine. Wonderful power shower and bath. Beautiful surroundings. Arrival scones, jam and cream. Milk kiosk walking distance selling fresh eggs and milk. Dog friendly, Will definitely return.

This was our third stay and was as enjoyable as ever. Great Central location even though you feel like your in the depths of the countryside. The accommodation is well equipped and super comfortable. Our two little one ages 3 and 5 love coming to stay and having the option to swim everyday for them is an added bonus. Really easy to enjoy meals at base and we made use of the bbq which was great fun. Instow has a lovely lil beach, we discovered the Glorious Oyster this trip which was great for the lil ones as they played in the sand while we enjoyed a drink in the sunshine. Lots of places close by to enjoy family days out or beautiful beaches if get lucky with the weather. Thank you for a lovely stay and excited to return again soon!

Just lovely!
Beautiful spacious accommodation for 2 +dog. Lovely views. Pool is a bonus and great to swim with only those in our barn. All usual amenities plus a few more like washing machine and dishwasher. Altogether great place in good location. Definitely will return.

What a gem of a place
My first trip here and it certainly will not be my last. The location is PERFECT... its nice quiet and remote with BEAUTIFUL views (at least from my barn) with brilliant amenities nearby. The welcome of scones a delight and the milk...goodness me, this was the yummiest milk I've ever had! (It came from the Dairy farm next door). Superstore for groceries is less than 5min drive away. Great dog walking at Instow and Westward Ho! are less than 15min drive away. And the Vets (because one dog had an accident) at Charter Vets were super helpful. All round a really really relaxing 9 nights away and we'll be back.
