We had a great time staying at this home. It worked very well for my crew of 4 young adults + me. The layout was perfect, the house was very well equipped. The kitchen was better equipped than any vacation rental I’ve ever rented. The Seabrook area and low country are worth the trip.

We recently returned from a week in Charleston with accommodations on Seabrook Island. While the house layout is wonderful, the overall condition of the home is in need of some TLC. The furnishings are worn and not overly clean. The kitchen is not very well stocked nor are the interior of the cabinets, top of fridge, etc. very clean - we actually found an entire bag of trash still in the pull-out trash can by the sink. The bathrooms are dated and in need of better lighting, vanities, and shower facilities. We experienced a hot water issue and, once reported to maintenance, it was handled along with compensation offered - which we appreciated but the fact that the propane was allowed to run out is something the homeowner or property manager needs to review. Checking between guests or scheduling a delivery of propane on a regular basis would help with this problem. We would definitely return to Seabrook Island, the amenities are outstanding, but we would not rent this home again unless the owner puts some effort into updating the house. We were pleased to work with Sweetgrass Properties and would consider renting through them in the future. On a better note: we loved the close proximity to restaurants and shopping in Freshfields Village - we had several wonderful meals there. This house provided Beach Club access which allowed us to enjoy a beautiful pool and beach setting. We also dined in the club one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our favorite amenity though was the beach horseback ride we took during the week - it was so peaceful, and the weather was perfect!

Wonderful stay!
This was a wonderful experience! Starting from booking the house to the actual stay through the checkout process, it was easy and a great experience.
The location was great as we had friends staying close by and the wedding venue was close by as well. The house was exactly what we were looking for with a wonderfully large living, dinning and kitchen area.
We even used property maintenance service as we had mistakenly locked our bedroom and they were there in 15 min.
The one thing I would recommend is that some updates need to be made - lighting fixture in a couple of places and some fumigation services.
Again, overall we had a delightful stay and would definitely stay here again.

The house has a 1 mile to the beach club pool, 1/2 mile to number 9 boardwalk beach, and 2 mile to lake house club pool. The house is okay. It was good for layout and number of rooms and bathrooms but the kitchen fridge and oven could be updated. The garage door to the garage was broken. The bathtubs did not fill for bedtime baths for our kids. Overall, it worked but could use some updates.

Location was great! Club House, Pool and Ocean were very close by. The house was well equipped with all the necessary items. We too, had a issues with the kitchen stove, however, it's my understanding the stove will be replaced. Each bedroom was spacious, comfortable and clean. We were very pleased and discuss renting the house next vacation

Overall Nice Visit
Overall nice property. Kitchen could use some updating specifically stove and sink. Master bath shower tub needed some updating. Nice location to beach and pool.

While the house has tremendous potential and we loved the layout - it definitely needs some TLC and some handyman work!
The ice maker/water dispenser on the refrigerator unit leaks. The stove and stove top were filthy.
Many of the light bulbs were out. "Blue" bedroom on the first floor after the stairs had cracked bathroom mirror; sink would not drain; windows do not open.
The Master bedroom smelled like animals and while we appreciate and understand pet friendly, it was like someone had let their dogs/cats pee on the carpeting.
The living room rug had mud stains and a huge tear/ rip which was initially covered up by the coffee table.
We loved the games and location.

The property was mostly clean and well stocked. The living room was large and comfortable for our family. Several issues that need attention: the hardwood flooring was buckled in 5 different areas making it a trip hazard, the freezer door handle was broke off, couple of roaches were found in front bedroom and master bath, living room ceiling fan was inoperable, the bathroom sink in the bedroom adjacent to master had a very slow drain, the propane tank was very low on gas, there was dried blood on the duvet in the master bedroom. The house was very nice and quiet with great views of the golf course, it just needs some attention to correct some maintenance items.

We loved the house. Lots of room for everyone and the decks / porches were a great place to enjoy a crisp fall morning.

Seabrook Stay
Home was perfect for our 3 couples. Beds were comfortable and all having our own bathroom was wonderful. Love the open concept of the family/dining/kitchen. Kitchen was adequate for several of us to move around in and cook. I suggest to have home exterminated - one guest had a roach crawl across their bed. We are looking to buy in Seabook Island and this home would be exactly what we are looking for!

House would be terrific if bathrooms were recalled and kitchen appliances were working properly. Living space and porch were very nice. House needs power washed on steps and sliding doors.

Amazing vacation on Seabrooke Island
We had a fantastic vacation with our two sons and daughters-in-law. The house was beautiful and met all our needs. We especially loved the screened-in porch and the fact that it was on the golf course. We absolutely love Seabrooke Island. We love how secluded in is, the live oak trees the wildlife. We stumbled upon a gem two years ago when we came here for the first time and enjoyed it even more this time. We will be back!

Home owner needs to repair floors and update baths. The baths weren't a negative to our stay, but hardwood floors could be a balance problem for certain individuals.

Nice home
I was overall very happy with the house. The common area was spacious and perfect for little ones to run around. The house was close to beach and beach club (just a short drive). The layout of the bedrooms was also nice and spacious with plenty of privacy for my in-laws and good room upstairs for toddler to nap. The bathrooms were rather dated and dingy and could use some work but other than that we were very happy.

Great Seabrook stay near Beach Club
We stayed at Seabrook for the 1st time and really enjoyed it! This house is right on the golf course and is tucked back near St. Christopher's. It's only 1/2 mile to the beach club and #9 boardwalk to beach. We loved the common area with the huge couch and dining area, with a large kitchen. There were tree frogs every morning stuck to the doors :). We are a family of 4 so this house was REALLY large for our needs but it was nice to spread out and of course, we loved being able to bring our dog for a small fee. We really loved the natural landscape of Seabrook and will definitely return!

Wonderful!
This house was absolutely PERFECT for us. My husband and I were vacationing with our two adult children and their spouses, and this house was ideal. It's conveniently located on a quiet street adjacent to the golf course, and is an easy walk to beach access or a quick drive to the Beach Club. The 3 bedrooms on the main floor each had a private bath (no sharing!), and while we didn't need the 4th bedroom, we ended up using it as a yoga studio and a quiet spot for working. The kitchen/living/dining rooms are well equipped and had plenty of space to gather. We especially enjoyed the screened porch in the evenings for our dinner meals while watching the last of the golfers.

Excellent
House was great, very clean and well kept. Really great home, great location, Enjoyed our stay tremendously! Couple additional kitchen items would be nice to have included/added in the home (e.g. kitchen knives are pretty dull; needs a large stock pot added to pots/pans; could use a set of plastic drinking cups as mostly all are made of glass). Only item to be immediately addressed would be the shower curtains in the bathrooms were moldy. Need replacing. All in, really great time! Thanks.

Wonderful!
It was the perfect house for our family of 7. Spacious and comfortable. The living area and kitchen served us well. Also, the house was cleaned very well. This was the best experience we have had in the past several years. Just a short ride to the beach, or even walk.

Average-Good
We enjoyed our stay on Seabrook Island very much. There are so many outdoor activities to do even during COVID. We did not use the pool, but we brought our bikes and rode all around the island, played golf, and enjoyed the beach. The interior of the house was clean and neat, well equipped and there was plenty of room. We noticed that some of the furniture was updated but parts of the house felt a bit tired.(kitchen cabinets, bathrooms). One of our guests ended up not being able to come on the trip so we didn't even use the upstairs. We lived on the porch for our meals. One open-air deck was not really usable due to the fact that the leaves covered it every day. We had to clean it every day sometimes twice. The gutters were overflowing during rain storms due to the fact that they have not been cleaned. Could cause potential leaks in the house. We realize SC is a very humid place, however, we would have enjoyed the house more if the windows and the entire exterior was properly cleaned. Lots of dampness smell particularly in the garage. The trees need trimming very badely as they take over part of the deck. We also did have large palmetto bugs in the house which was not due to the doors being left open. All in all, we enjoyed our stay particularly the proximity to the beach.

Wonderful Home
2875 Hidden Oak Drive is a wonderful home for large families- spacious and comfortably appointed. The location is great- just a five minute bike ride to the beach and the pool; quiet street and neighborhood.

Nice, quiet location on the island
The house was in good condition overall, with a few exceptions.

Great house
This house has huge kitchen, dining and living areas. The 4 bedrooms and 4 baths allowed privacy and space. The only negative was that the kitchen was not as well-equipped as I would like. There were only 2 small sauce pans, no large "shrimp boil" pot.
4.5
Great house
This was a great house for our family vacation. We needed a pet friendly home for three couples and this was perfect....large enough for everyone to have their own space if they wanted it and close to the beach and all the amenities. We were very pleased with the roomy, open layout. Having two bikes available was an added bonus (although one is in need of a tire fix). One thing that could be worked on was that the trash cans were nasty and smelled awful. And personally, if the house were mine, I would seal off the door between the master bath and one of the guest room baths.....but, all in all, this was a terrific house! Thanks for putting into the rental pool!!!!! I rated communication with the property manager low because we never had any communication with the property manager.

Exactly as advertised!
Everything went smoothly leading up to our stay. E-mails and phone calls were answered immediately . The house was exceptionally clean, which was a relief as I have rented some that obviously weren’t clean nor had they been in some time.
The linens were fresh and you could tell someone had been there to put out fresh towels and even left a welcoming light on . A great experience overall.
