The villa is well equipped in a great location with quite a number of restaurants and bars within just 5 minutes walk, even before you think about going into the main town! The pool was nice and well maintained and the managers and owner helpful and responsive. Thank you Anna for our lovely stay!

The villa is beautiful, spotlessly clean inside and out, has everything you need for a home from home.
Kalkan is as beautiful as ever, a short walk to the centre and a steep but manageable walk back up. Would highly recommend for adults and family holidays. Can't wait to return 😀

We stayed for two weeks in September as a party of six (regulars to Kalkan) and the villa was perfect for what we needed! Plenty of space and the pool area was brilliant - nice and private and the pool always stayed cold!
Easy 10 minute walk into/from town and close to all the amenities we could need - we would stay here again!

My husband , myself and our 10yr old son have just got back from a 10 day break in Kalkan and Villa Zinnia and I have to say from start to finish the whole process was seamless. Anna was very communicative and helpful . The Villa is a perfect location for us as not far to walk into the centre of Kalkan and then get a taxi home for 110 Lira the Can Can shop over the road from the Villa is perfect and stocks all the essentials you will need. The villa is secluded and again has everything you will need and from the top balcony you get some lovely views of Kalkan in the evening … I’m pretty sure we will be back. Oh and the owner of Porcini (the restaurant next door) is such a lovely guy and makes you feel very welcome 😀

Spacious villa with own pool which was cleaned daily. Plenty of sunbeds, outdoor dining table and comfortable chairs, ideal for evening drinks and bbq’s. Short walk down hill (about 10 mins) to the centre of Kalkan and plenty of reasonably priced taxis to save walking back up the hill at the end of the evening. Lots of choices of restaurants to suit all budgets. We ate out quite a lot and didn’t have one bad meal. Kitchen in the villa well equipped for dining in and villa is a two minute walk to small supermarket, with bigger supermarkets such as Migros just down the road that had a wider range of food and drink. Kalamar Beach club is a 15 min walk downhill and they provide a free shuttle service. Excursions to nearby Patara beach, Saklikant Gorge, boat trips easily bookable from offices in centre of Kalkan. We have been to Kalkan several times over the last ten years and it’s always so relaxed and welcoming.

First time visit to Turkey, cannot recommend Kalkan highly enough!
Villa Zinnia was absolutely superb and location was great, short 10 min walk to centre of Kalkan, always got a taxi back as it’s uphill coming back (only £2)
Communication and check in with Anna was seamless, and she arranged our transfer to and from Dalaman airport. The villa was spotless and very well equipped, the pool was delightful which was cleaned every day by Sedat.
Will definitely be coming back!!😊

We had a fabulous holiday at this lovely Villa. Wonderful location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Kalkan. Anna went above and beyond when she allowed us to stay for an extra night after our flight was cancelled at the last minute. Highly recommend.

We found the villa to be nicely secluded, really clean, well located and in a quiet area. It had plenty of space and is well equipped. It was our first self catering holiday so didn’t know what to expect but it was fantastic. The welcome pack was much more substantial than we expected, especially arriving in the early hours of the morning so thanks for that.
The managers (Sedat and Elenor) were both very helpful. The pool people called in twice a day to keep the pool clean, which it always was.
The location of the villa is great as there are lots of nearby restaurants and bars but it is still quiet. The walk down to the old town is not too far either. I would definitely recommend this villa and hope to visit again.

Lovely villa, great location
The villa is in a great location. An easy stroll into the old town. We always got a taxi back because of the heat. A small supermarket just across the road and some lovely restaurants within spitting distance. Correspondence with the owner and the management company was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Well managed home away from home
The property is well cared for with thoughtful details to make the stay easy and pleasant. The home is equipped with more things than most (from games, to grill, to kitchen equipment). The neighborhood is convenient to groceries and restaurants.

The Villa itself is great. Very clean and the pool is attended to daily. The local agent was very helpful when we needed to have a boarding pass printed out and even hand delivered it the same day.
The only observation we would make is that the Villa is accessed by walking through Porcini's Restaurant which wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews which we found a bit odd. Nevertheless, the staff were fine with this and it was great to be able to stagger back from a late drink.
We would highly recommend this Villa .

A lycian delight
We were very happy with this excellent villa and services - the villa, pool and gardens are very clean and comfortable - the owners have been very helpful and provided all the information and transfers etc we requested - we could not ask for any more; Deniz and his family at Porcini's, the supermarket and the cocktail bar which all neighbour the villa are all wonderful company and very friendly - we all felt very at home and well cared for by them. Kalkan itself is a special place that we hope to return to - the roof bars and restaurants are lovely - particularly Sade - the harbour and surrounding beach bars and shops are all excellent and varied - everyone we met were either having a wonderful fun holiday or were a friendly smiling local - Kalkan is a real delight.

Perfect Holiday
The villa is ideally situated. It is a gentle 15/20 minute stroll into the harbour and village and about the same distance downhill the other way to Kalamar Beach Club (they will give you a free lift back). The villa itself is spotless with a beautiful cared for totally secluded garden and deep pool, located behind Porcinis restaurtant, which was a delight serving exceptionally good food. Ideal after a hard day at a beach club or relaxing around the pool and only a few steps away.
Deniz, who owns the restaurant and also seems to own that small part of Kalkan together with his parents who look after the little 'supermarket' opposite, are always ready to help.
A delightful three week holiday that we hope to repeat next year.

Lovely Villa in a great location
It was our first time visiting Kalkan with our two daughters age 10 & 6 years and we had such a lovely time. Villa Zinnia is in a great location with lots of lovely restaurants close by and a local shop just across the road. The villa was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The pool area was private and the pool was a good size, we loved the fact that it was cleaned daily. We had an amazing holiday and found it very easy to settle in with the help of Anna's recommendations. We cant wait to return to Kalkan again soon!

Lovely villa in beautiful Kalkan
Staying in Villa Zinnia was a wonderful experience. It’s location made it easy to get into Kalkan and the villa had everything we needed to make our stay a memorable one. We had lots af advice from Anna and previous guests and enjoyed exploring Kalkan and the surrounding area. We’d love to go back!

Lovely, private, well equipped villa
We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Zinnia. Spotless, well maintained villa with everything you would need for a perfect break. The lovely greenery around the villa protects your privacy and we were visited by the local tortoises from time to time!. The grocery shop opposite the villa is really handy so you don't even have to lug shopping far at all. The Porcini restaurant next door serves fresh and well presented food at reasonable prices and even provided a light meal to one of us who was a bit poorly one day. They also provided a meal very late at night for us when we first arrived tired and hungry off the plane. There was a generous starter package of foodstuffs in the villa when we arrived which was much appreciated. Can also recommend The Brothers restaurant next door which we visited several times. The Turkish people are so happy, kind and generous and we are already looking at returning to Kalkan again next year.

Fantastic Chilled Holiday
First time we have stayed at Kalkan and would definitely go back. The villa was brilliant, clean and quiet. The weather was fantastic, not too hot just perfect. The location of the villa had stunning views of the harbour. Even though walking back from the harbour each time was very hilly, steep hills this was no problem for us. Highly recommend Brothers Restaurant, service and food was brilliant. Porcini Restaurant owned by Deniz and his family (and dogs) were friendly, accommodating, fantastic food. If you like cocktails I would say go to 'Black and Gold' in the town.
Everyone in Kalkan are so friendly, there are so many English people either living there permanently or just going to their villa for the Summer. The Turkish people in the restaurants, bars and shop were lovely.
Highly recommend this villa and Kalkan..... one of our top five places to visit.
We were two of the passengers on Monarch Airlines and Anna was fantastic by contacting us straightaway to see if she could help. Even said the villa was available if we needed to stay on. Brilliant, thank you Anna
Thank you

Fantastic villa in a lovely location
We holidayed in Kalan for the first time this year and chose Villa Zinnia as it seemed to be well located and had the amenities we needed. You never quite know what you will be getting though and to be honest I was a little apprehensive as the transfer minibus pulled up outside Porcini restaurant.
From that point onwards all of my uncertainties flew away - we received a very warm welcome from Deniz who owns the restaurant. He helped us carry our bags down the path to the villa and when we opened up and went in we knew we had made the right choice ! What a lovely place !
The villa was just perfect - secluded from the main road and neighbouring properties with a lovely pool and ottoman platform to put your feet up. Bedrooms are large and with all the storage you need to decant your suitcases etc on arrival. The view over the bay from the second floor bedroom is outstanding both during the day and at night-time.
Wifi worked very well indeed but we didnt venture as far as getting the PS3 out - seemed wrong on holiday somehow !
Location wise the villa is a 15min walk downhill into the town which is fine - walking back up is do-able but I must admit we tended to use the 10tl taxi back as we were usually full of food and cocktails by that time !
We went out and about a bit during the day, but to be honest the villa was such a relaxing place to hang out there were a few days when we just kicked back by the pool and fired up the barbeque !
Can Can supermarket is literally just across the road and supplies most things you will need. The shop is owned by Deniz and his father Jan who are both the most welcoming people you could ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble ! Fantastic family.
Overall we had a super super time in Villa Zinnia and cant wait to visit again :-)
If you considering a holiday in Kalkan do yourself a favour and book here !

Amazing Family Villa and Pool
As one who doesn’t normally write reviews, even though I know I should, I am now writing a review of our fantastic stay in Villa Zinnia, Kalkan, Turkey in August this Year.
What can I say of the whole thing other than it was a fantastic, stress free experience from the start to the end.
Booking the Villa through the owner Anna was a breeze, she was very helpful even though we needed longer than normal and slightly awkward dates. Everything was spelled out to us and several helpful documents were sent to us giving us details of both the Villa and the surrounding area, including surrounding restaurants, things to do.
Travel was arranged be Anna for the transfer from Dalaman Airport to the Villa and this was fantastic, in an air conditioned luxury minibus, which also included bottled water.
Arriving at the Villa late at night didn’t give us the appreciation of what a great place it was as we were tired and just need to rest/sleep. Upon arrival though we became aware of a great welcome package left for us so that we would not need any essentials which was a very thoughtful gesture.
The next morning though we became aware of what a great Villa we were staying at – the views, the rooms and the pool were amazing. The Villa itself was amazing, a great fully equipped modern kitchen/dining room, a comfortable lounge area and three well equipped bathrooms (one on-suite).
The three bedrooms were of a good size, two with large beds and one with two single beds and can I say that the beds were fantastic.
The Villa had air-conditioning throughout which was a must for Turkey in August.
Now I’m a big believer that things can go wrong but it’s the things in place to sort them out that is the most important thing. Well it did as one of the air-con units broke but we contacted the emergency number that was part of the welcome pack and the chaps attended that morning and fixed it straight away.
We had an amazing time in the day relaxing by the great pool and using the Ottoman in the rear garden. At night we walked out to several restaurants close by and had some fabulous food and drink. All of them were great but we liked the Brothers, Aqua, Porcini and Yelken that were within walking distance. We also loved Corriander Restaurant in Kalkan were we had several breakfasts and evening meals.
There is a great little store across the road run by the family that owns Porcini – Deniz & Family which sells everything that you will realistically need and if they don’t they

A wonderful stay at this lovely villa
A very rare five-star review from me for Anna's lovely Villa Zinnia, the perfect choice for a stay in Kalkan. It's conveniently located on the 'Kalamar Road' just behind the Porcini restaurant, a 15-minute walk downhill to the centre of town.
The villa itself is perfect for a relaxing holiday as it is very private - the mature garden shields it from neighbouring properties - and is well-equipped with a great kitchen, satellite TV (no UK channels, though, but several English-language ones such as BBC World, BBC Entertainment and CNN), dishwasher, washing machine, DVD player, wi-fi (of the flaky Turkish kind!) and very effective aircon in all rooms.
The pool, although small, is perfect for cooling off and there is plenty of room on the pool surround for several sunbeds - the ones provided are some of the most comfortable I've known. If you like proper swimming, as I do, the nearby Hotel Elixir has a huge pool and is very happy for you to use it as long as you buy a drink or two. We also visited the gorgeous Regency Hotel, a short walk away, several times.
The local area has several restaurants including the excellent The Brothers, Cafe Aqua and (the over-rated) Cafe Vita and there is a general store just opposite which belongs to the family that owns Porcini - Deniz, his parents and their (to date) four dogs are lovely neighbours. Porcini has TV sports channels where you can watch Premier League matches - and the food's excellent too.
The firm that manages the villa is very efficient - an issue we had with the door lock was fixed within minutes.
All in all, a perfect stay in this gorgeous villa. We'll be back!

Fantastic Villa
We recently stayed at Villa Zinnia and can honestly say we had a fantastic holiday. Anna the owner answered my many questions, arranged airport transfers and provided a welcome pack on our arrival which was a very nice touch! The management company keep the villa very clean and tidy. They come in once a week to change sheets and do a very thorough clean along with daily pool care and tidying the outside area.
There were 5 of us staying at the villa, 2 adults and 3 children. it offered everything we required for our holiday and more. I have to say that on the really hot afternoons the Play Station for the kids was a real bonus.
This was our 5th year in Kalkan, the previous 4 we spent in a villa higher up on the mountain which meant taxi's everywhere. However this year on the evenings that we wanted to go into town to eat it was a very easy walk in but being lazy we tended to get a taxi back. On the evenings we didn't go into town, there are some nice restaurants very close to the villa.
The little family run shop just across the road was an absolute godsend and sold nearly everything you could require. If it didn't they would either go themselves to get what you wanted or take you to get it. They also own the restaurant that's literally at the end of the path from the villa and also the cocktail bar that is just above the shop (we spent several great evenings in here being entertained by Denizas).
I would highly recommend Villa Zinnia to anyone looking for a great family holiday. We will certainly return if Anna will have us!

Villa Zinnia
Villa Zinnia was perfect for our stay in Kalkan. It was only a short walk into the main town and had everything we needed to make our holiday a home from home. The pool area was private and kept very clean and we would definitely return here for another holiday in the future.

Garden with a tropical feel
Villa Zinnia is in a lovely private spot, completely unseen from the road ,the photos of the garden do not do it justice , it is like a little tropical paradise , with lush vegetation and flowering plants and backing on to an olive grove The garden and pool area are maintained daily by very friendly unobtrusive staff.
The villa itself has everything you need for a holiday ...good air con , comfy beds etc. There is a little supermarket across the road for supplies and the harbour is about a 15 min downhill walk , where you are spoilt for choice of restaurants, our favourites were Moussaka , Korsan, The Small House and Adams Place .
Great holiday in a villa that felt like our own (I wish it was !!)

Kalkan Villa Zinnia
Absolutely beautiful Villa in a fantastic location with amazing views over Kalkan. The interior is modern spacious with everything you could wish for. The pool area is fantastic, with a great pool plenty of shaded areas to sit and relax. Its not overlooked which is rare in Kalkan, there's plenty of quality sunbeds and furniture all kept in top condition by the maintenance company. Anna the owner was brilliant arranged the transfers and was extremely helpful. Kalkan is beautiful with its roof top restaurants, bars and friendly people. There's a small beach which clean and the waters are crystal clear. The local beach clubs are great offing good value for money. The only down side is the hills which can be steep and rather over bearing in the August heat. Overall we loved Kalkan and will be back next year.

We love Villa Zinnia!
This is a beautiful villa in a lovely, friendly town with many great restaurants. It's not far to walk into the cente, down by the harbour but at the same time has some great cocktail bars and restaurants close by. The villa itself is amazing, spotlessly clean, well equipped, soacious and well, what can I say about the outside, plenty of seating areas, sun beds, great wee pool, lots of flowers and plants and we loved the ottoman at the bottom of the garden. It was our 2nd visit and I really hope we will return. Highly recommended. Enjoy your holiday, we had a great time!

5 star villa...5 star holiday
This villa is outstanding. 3 shower rooms, modern kitchen and aircon...the list goes on. Rest assured you'll want for nothing.
The pool and outdoor areas are as equally impressive too. The ottoman area is great for escaping the midday sun.
We found it well placed for Kalkan center and the Kalamar Beach Club too.
Everyone in our party loved Kalkan. I'm sure we all commented at some point about the relaxed atmosphere. A trip to the market is well worth it...even if it is just to see the cheeky (but funny) market traders. That said, you don't have to venture too far for supplies as the CanCan supermarket is a stones throw away.
We'll definitely be returning to Zinnia at some point soon...maybe just earlier in the season.
Many thanks to the Valentines for what was one the best family holidays we've had in a long while.

Everything as promised - and more
For very 'particular' / fussy people, we researched a whole range of villas around Kalkan, but as soon as we saw and ready about Villa Zinnia, it ticked all the boxes for what we were after.
The reality did not let us down. The villa is beautiful and was perfect for what we were after - very clean, spacious, quiet, stylish, practical and the most stunning view of Kalkan from the top bedroom.
When we return to Kalkan we would not hesitate to return to Villa Zinnia (if they will have us again!). The only thing we would say be aware of, as with all Kalkan, is the steep hills leading from the town centre to the villa. In 100 degrees heat this isn't much fun, but learnt very quickly that a taxi from the centre to the villa was the way to go, for a cost of only around £4/£5.
Anna was SO helpful and efficient with everything, from our initial enquiry through to pre-arranging transfers - even when we were staying at a hotel for a few days beforehand. It meant that we could relax knowing that everything had been taken care of by someone completely reliable. All the transfers we had were so punctual, literally to the minute.
We could not rate the villa highly enough. The description and images are accurate and you won't be disappointed. It's also really useful to have the Can Can store right over the road, perfect for the essentials like water, fresh bread and ice cream.
A couple of local recommendations too - coming out of the villa and turning left along the Kalamar Road, the Aqua Cafe is lovely an much more reasonable if you want a night away from the town. Also the Kalamar Beach Club is fabulous and well worth visiting, even if only for the snorkelling. They pick you up from the villa for free if you phone to pre-arrange. All useful details and recommendations are in the very useful visitor folder.
So, a big thumbs up from us and and a big thank you to Anna for all her help and making sure that we had everything covered that we needed. We look forward to, and long to be coming back again!

Another fantastic holiday in Villa Zinnia
We returned to Villa Zinnia for the 2nd year in succession and enjoyed our holiday as much as the first time. The villa was spotless with everything that we needed to enjoy ourselves, with air conditioning in all the rooms. The villa was spacious with more than enough space for a family of 4. The pool was sparkling and very well maintained - perfect to cool off on the hot, sunny days that we experienced. The villa is conveniently located just outside town with a beautiful view of Kalkan and the bay. It is a short 10 minute walk to most of the best restaurants in the town centre. The recommended restaurants were all excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!
