Lovely, spacious, cottage for a family with easy access to amenities in Tralee, Killarney and Dingle

Julie's cottage is very well maintained with plenty of clean bed linen and towels. The outdoor games for the children were a great addition.

Great cozy stay

Great location! We did Dingle Peninsula, Gap of Dunloe, and Ring of kerry from here. lots of space - easily slept 7. Games and toys available.

Nice cottage

Nice cottage at a very calm place, but close to the surrounding villages. Perfect for a few days with a small group.

The cottage can get very cold, the heating/warm water system quite compicated if not familiar with it. Two bathrooms but no possibility to use showers at same time. Beds were quite soft.

Soggiorno perfetto per vivere un'esperienza autentica

Posizione fantastica, perfetta come punto di partenza per visitare la contea di Kerry e dintorni. La zona è tranquilla e immersa nel verde, la casa è tipica, accogliente, grande, pulita, calda e super attrezzata di tutto il necessario. Mary è stata disponibile e gentile, velocissima nelle risposte e il suo pane bauletto fatto in casa è semplicemente divino! Ci è piaciuto tutto davvero molto, carinissimo anche il piccolo beagle che veniva a trovarci la sera sulla finestra...una settimana meravigliosa.

La météo de fin décembre ne nous a pas empêchés de passer une très belle semaine.

La maison était superbement décorée pour notre semaine de Noël et très douillette. Elle est très bien équipée. Bien qu'elle soit située en pleine campagne, au calme, l'Internet et le wifi fonctionnaient parfaitement. Nous avons pu faire un feu de cheminée chaque soir. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le pain maison et la confiture de saison laissés à notre intention. Le gîte est central dans le Kerry mais il faut absolument prendre la voiture pour arriver aux sites touristiques, des falaises de Moher au nord à la Ring of Kerry, en passant par le parc de Killarney.

La maison était un peu humide à notre arrivée. L'accès à la maison se fait par des routes étroites avec des nids de poules (typiques du mauvais réseau routier irlandais).

I had one of the most relaxing bank holiday week ever

The owner was so friend and cottage was so homely and Confy there had everything you could think of like baking supply’s pots pans everything and so quiet.

Excellent value for money in a peaceful location close to all the necessary services.

Location was excellent for exploring the Kerry ring and the dingle peninsula. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable and Mary left us with supplies including soda bread and jam. Surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Castleisland is a short (3 min) drive away with a good selection of pubs, shops and supermarket. Adjacent road is single track with passing places, but it’s a short distance to larger main roads leading to the fantastic Kerry ring. (30 mins). Can’t fail to mention the local cat who visits daily. For the price paid it was excellent value for money.

The price is an indication of some of the quirky but not deal breaker issues.

Very well equipped cottage, plenty for the kids to do, loads of games, DVDs on hand if it's raining. 30 mins to Tralee and 40 to Killarney.

peaceful comfortable and great value for money

this is a little gem in the countryside but close to Tralee and Castelisland for restaurants shops and recreation. the cottage is homely and welcoming and there was beautiful homemade brown bread, jam and butter on the table for our arrival. it’s spotless clean and everything you need is in the house. I will definitely return

Family-friendly Ireland home

Family-friendly property with multiple rooms equipped with dressers or wardrobes for clothes, equipped kitchen and the kids were so excited for the toys, puzzles and movies. The hot water in the showers was efficient, and we appreciated the extra touches like the carrot cake and milk in the fridge!

Cosy cottage

The cottage was really clean and comfortable with really good duvets. The owner was really kind and we had a great stay.

There was nothing I didn't like. It's a bit out of town but in a lovely country area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Julie's Cottage. Beautiful and cosy house, very well equiped, and has a lovely safe back garden, perfect if you are traveling with small kids and a dog. The location is great to explore co Kerry, less than 30 min drive to Killarney. Mary is a fantastic host, very flexible and approachable. Highly recommend!

Nice country retreat, close to Castleisland.

Lovely cottage, very spacious and everything you need is there. Fuel for the open fire, all kitchen utensils etc. Host Mary very easy to deal with and had no problem with check in and out. Nice and relaxing. Castleisland highly recommended, friendliest people in Ireland there!

Couldn't complain about anything, if I really had to maybe the mattress was bit on the hard side in the top far room but that is also good for your back! All in all, very pleased.
