Well situated and well appointed apartment.

THE PROS:
The location is fantastic! If you're planning to visit other places and use the train station for travel, this apartment is perfect. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Central Station. Cities like Turin, Bologna, and Lake Como are only an hour away by train and are well worth visiting.
The neighborhood is great, with many restaurants and shops, several of which stay open late. It feels very safe walking through the streets at night. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk from several metro links and city trains. The apartment itself is cozy and beautiful, with a private outside terrace. When all the windows are open, it's very light and inviting.
THE CONS:
The only major downside is the guest bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, both of which are great and fully equipped. However, one bathroom has a shower, while the other only has a bathtub. The bathroom with the bathtub would greatly benefit from some sort of shower curtain or sliding doors above the tub, as well as a hook on the wall for the shower head. If you enjoy soaking in a tub, this might not be an issue, but taking a shower without getting the floor wet or being in an uncomfortable position is nearly impossible. A simple rod with shower curtains could easily fix this for those who prefer a quick shower.
Another small con is the lighting arrangement. During the daytime, when all the windows are open, the room is filled with light. However, in the evening or when the windows are closed, the bed

This is apartment is located in a vibrant neighborhood not too far from the train station and many cultural attractions. The apartment itself is lovely and well decorated, and the building, courtyard and gardens are truly unique-an architectural gem.

Communication wasn’t great before I got to Milan. When we got to Milan, we got through to someone finally who did let us in the property remotely. The layout is good of the apartment for 2 couples. Pretty good neighborhood too. The problems we had were killing 22 to 25 mosquitoes / musty smoker smell and a shower in the main bedroom that was cold and knobs was broken. Not really what you want when you pay over 600 a night… the owner needs to figure out the mosquito problem at a minimum.

The apartment is in a great location and has a wonderful layout. We loved the huge doors that opened onto a greenhouse/ very large balcony. The apartment was musty when we arrived and I killed probably 10 moth flies right away and another 4-5 in the next 2 days. The kitchen has everything except a nice coffee maker, (I don’t use French press and the other one was old and poorly functioning). One of the bathrooms has hair in it so I wouldn’t use it, but the other shower was great. The owners were responsive but said they’ve never seen moth there 😳. This apartment has a potential to be great but it’s not there yet.

Lovely property in a convenient location (nearby train station, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, etc.). Relaxing place with patio for outdoor feel in the middle of a city.
Once we had physical keys, entry was easy... however the initial need for WiFi caused a delay when we could not access.
Otherwise clean, quiet property.

Just as described in the listing. Clean, very comfortable, and great location. Excellent air conditioning was also very helpful as we were there during a heat wave. Lots of great restaurants within a block or two. Easy access to the city center via tram or metro.

This is a very clean, well located and well furnished apartment.

As much as I would like to give a high rating, there were real problems. First, the advertised clothes dryer didn’t exist. Second, my final 2 days was without hot water. Those were the big things and such shortcomings were inexcusable. And I would add that at these prices, they really should supply dishwasher and laundry soap.

loved it...everything about it.

The house was great. The information sheet on how to use appliances, etc was in German. Would recommend also in English. The country air was wonderful but suggest screens to keep the flies out of the house.

Super nice apartment! We especially loved the beautiful terrace, the efficient ac and the comfy couches. The electronic door opening process was VERY cool and convenient. The neighborhood was both close to Milano Centrale and quiet. The only things we didn’t like was the 45 minute on-line check in, the lack of bar soap in the shower and the 11:00 am check out time; too early! What is the rush?!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 3 while visiting Milano. Check in was easy and apartment was clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and living/kitchen area. Elevator in the building to access apartment as well. Grocery store across the street and cafe on the corner. Milan Central train station only a 10 min walk away. Will book this apartment again if in Milan.

Great appartement with large terrasse, very clean and functional. Grocery store, transport and all services near by, very central. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Plus, Gaia (our host) is super kind and welcoming. I strongly recommend it to anyone.

We liked this apartment. It is located easy walking distance from Centrale train station even with luggage. It is directly on the 1 and 5 tram lines to make it easy to get to other lines and it is a short walk to Repubblica Metro stop. The outdoor patio adds a nice dimension. Food store is across the street. Very quiet. The place was perfect for three of us - parents and 19-year old son.

This apartment was in a great location. Close to metro stations and a 15 minute walk to Milano Centrale train station. Excellent if you’re traveling on from Milan by train.
The apartment was nice and clean. The private outside space was a nice feature. The amenities listing is not accurate. So if there’s something on the list you must have double check with the owners.
The owners were pretty responsive- if you speak Italian it will help in getting complete answers in one try.

We had a great time in this space! Great location and we walked out to dinner and lunch and a grocery store right across the street. We had 4 adults and all very comfortable. Thank you very much!!!

This apartment was just right for our group of four adult travelers. The location is wonderful; quiet neighborhood with easy access to grocery markets and restaurants. Don't miss dining at Mamma Rosa's! Our Vikey check-in was easy but it took two emails to remind the manager to send the information. Communication was spotty for questions during our stay. The apartment could use a "house book" to explain the use of the washing machine (It's tiny and unlike any I had ever seen. We figured it out but instructions would have been welcome.), stove top (buttons are hard to find and it seems it can't be used if dish washer is running at the same time), check-out procedures (what to do with trash, linens, house keys) and neighborhood amenities. There is no clothes dryer (there is a heated towel rack and a freestanding rack). These were minor inconveniences, however. The location garners the five star rating. Milan is very walkable and this apartment is in a great place (and very near the train station, too). We all agree we would go back there.

We stayed at the apartment for 3 nights. The location was perfect, check-in was easy and they were able to let me leave my luggage the last day as we were not flying until the evening and had a tour scheduled during the day. Much appreciated.!Restaurants, markets, subway and train station were close by. The Duomo, shopping and other attractions are all within a 10 or 15 minute walk, or you can take the subway. There is also a nice park right up the street. The weather was surprisingly warm for October, so we enjoyed the lovely terrace. Would definitely stay again.

Our family loved this apartment in a safe neighborhood close to major tourist sites and public transportation. The main living space is large and comfortable. Both the living room and two bedrooms open to a small terrace with a nice table and chairs. We loved leaving the doors open and enjoying the fresh air. We suggest that the appliance manuals be placed with the welcome folder for ease of use.

Gaia&Pietro place is superb, clean and comfortable. Beautifully designed and decorated. Closed to nightlife but really quiet at night. Highly recommended.

You couldn’t find a better location for seeing Northern Italy. You have trams and subway locations within minutes of the apartment. There are restaurants and grocery stores just a block away. The apartment was quite, clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner and staff was great.

My husband, his uncle and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights while having a short, mid week visit to Milan. It is centrally located with plenty of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets nearby so easy to get supplies. There is also a nice bar only a few doors away and also a panifico across the road for morning croissants. We ate in the trattoria across the road which is run by a Chinese family but serves excellent, traditional Italian food. Even mid week it was busy and it seemed to have attracted both locals and tourists. It is not mentioned on the house book but several others are.
The apartment itself is spacious, although the kitchen and bathrooms are a little basic. There is very little road noise as it is in an internal courtyard of the building. One advantage in warmer months will be the access to the external courtyard - it was a little cold to spend much time out there during our visit.
Whilst it was fine as an apartment for a short stay, as a keen cook, the kitchen and equipment did not lend itself to making meals, which was a disappointment for me. This did not detract greatly from our stay on this occasion as we ate out but, had we been staying longer, I would have preferred to eat in some evenings. Both the living area and the dining area were more than adequate for dining in.
The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage space. One has a small en-suite and the main bathroom leads off the living room so great for two couples or a small family.
All in all, a good place to stay but just falling short of being extra special, which is shame as the apartment could be exceptional with a little extra TLC and attention to detail.

We visited Milan for a combination of business and pleasure. The apartment was quite comfortable and very conveniently located in an interesting neighborhood. We were within walking distance to the Duomo, the central train station and several very good restaurants. Travel to the convention center was easy via the metro. The apartment came with a rustic veranda complete with a presumably neighborhood cat that was comfortable entering the apartment at his/her leisure when the French doors were open. Everyone we interacted with who was associated with the apartment and its management was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning in the apartment was welcome because of the warm weather during our stay. We were somewhat disappointed that there were few staples in the apartment such as bath soap and shampoo which we had to purchase at a local grocery. The individual who photographed the apartment also deserves some recognition for optimizing its appearance. Overall, we were very happy with the apartment and would recommend it without reservation.

Greenhouse Duomo is an excellent apartment with all the comforts a travelling couple, or family, could want. The space is conveniently arranged and nicely equipped. The most noticeable attribute, however, is the location. We were able to walk to Milan Central Train Station in 10 minutes, to the Duomo area in 15-20 minutes and to a metro stop in 5 minutes, or so. No car needed. And, the way the Greenhouse is set away from the street makes it one of the 2 or 3 quietest places we have stayed. Gaia, and his colleagues, are responsive and very professional in the way they deal with their guests. We had the great pleasure of dealing directly with Victor, our on site host. Victor went out of his way to see be received the help we needed. We have stayed at HomeAway, and related company, rentals 12 times in six countries and think Greenhouse Duomo is one of the very best.

The apartment is fantastic and I highly recommend it. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We are a family of 4 and really enjoyed our stay. It's beautiful, clean and comfortable and is in a perfect location. It's very close to the Duomo and city center. There is no need for a car, as you can walk everywhere. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen is fully equipped. We felt like we were living in Milan. We can't wait to go back and stay in this apartment.
