The spot is beautiful, private, locals are great. The village is laid back as well the beach which is a half mile up a quiet road along the coastline. The ocean itself was perfect for my 5yr old daughter, warmer water than across the bridge without any waves, great. Just great.

This home was small but mighty. The home was clean, well decorated and impeccably maintained. For a small home, the storage solutions were smart and our family of four was comfortable for a week stay. We loved the secluded backyard and the beach right down the block. Maria was a thoughtful host and very responsive! Onset was a perfect location to springboard activities in central/Western part of the Cape. We can't wait to go back!

We wanted somewhere convenient and reasonably priced and this place worked for us. The lady next door has issues, but we just tried to stay away from her. Called police on us for parking in front of house while loading luggage, this is in a neighborhood.

We three sisters in our 50/60’s had a great stay. House was super clean. Back deck was very comfortable and private. Enclosed front porch also comfortable. Kitchen and home was well stocked. It was an enjoyable walk into town. Most of the nearby houses were very nice (next door was run down but we were not bothered). Beds were comfortable as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Host responded to all questions in a very timely manner. Answered all questions that were asked. The location was close to Onset Beach but you do need to drive to it. Several places in the area to eat at, close to the Bourne Bridge. Great Ice Crean shop with soft serve and homemade ice cream, great flavors, next to the candy store.. Cash only so be prepared. Sad you have to pay to park at the beach during the month of May when the temps are cool. The house has everything you would need, the coffee pods and half & half in the refrig were a plus. It was raining while we were there, so we did't get to use the deck furniture or grill. Adequate linens for 2 people. Mentioned King, Queen and a full bed. There was 1 queen, 1 full bed, a daybed and 2 twin(?). If I had known that, we would not have not booked the house. Only one bedroom had a TV. Couches need to be replaced! Sunken in and old, if you have a bad back, it will be worse, very hard to get off of the couch and love seat. No furniture to put clothes in for an extended stay. We were there for a short time so we lived out of our suitcase. The closet was blocked by the bed and end table. There were a few hooks to hang a few pieces of clothing. Okay for a couple with 1 or two children. Puzzles, deck of card and games available. A few trip hazards for seniors. Quiet neighborhood, no problems.

We had a fabulous time at Cape Cod and this could not have been a more perfect rental for us. The house is so well furnished! Great kitchen supplies, lots of towels, selection of pillows and so comfortable. It was very clean. It was also nice to have a washer and drier with laundry detergent supplied! It’s located a block from the water and an easy walk to downtown in a quiet area. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll certainly want to stay here.

A quaint bungalow within walking distance of all things Onset. House was well kept with all the things you need for a stay. We loved the furnishings and art! The backyard was amazing for the family cookout and we walked into town everyday for all the seafood. Great Place! Thanks The Bakers

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway with 4 adults and 2 children. It was plenty spacious and very clean. The location was great and a short drive away from the beach. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

This was our second time staying in this home. My family enjoyed the comfort and convenience of local amenities. The house is clean, spacious and relaxing. The private beach is a few steps away. We would definitely consider rebooking this home for our next Onset vacation!

This property was perfect for our family of four including a 2 1/2 year-old and a two-month-old. The home was very comfortable and clean with all of the amenities we needed. It’s a very short walk to some wonderful beaches that were hardly crowded during the typical busy time on the Cape. We loved having that cape feel without having to cross the bridge. Super close to other Cape towns and restaurants/ice cream. We enjoyed nightly walks as a family to grab food, visit the beach, or just check out the scenery. There were also bikes accessible which was great when we needed to take the vehicle down to the beach but didn’t want to pay to park. We would definitely return and make this a family tradition.

Very clean and nice property. Interior was super clean and nicely decorated. Exterior of home was also well maintained. The neighborhood is a mixed bag of homes that range from typical water front homes that are higher end to working class homes/rentals. Would stay here again. Owner of home responded to several questions I had immediately.

We had a great time in Maria's property, obviously lovingly restored and renovated and full of lots of little cute beachy touches. We liked the backyard w/ grill & fire pit, and even rode around the neighborhood on the two provided bikes. The property is literally steps to a tiny neighborhood beach on a cove which is cute (and full of tiny crabs to watch!) -- but the "real" bay beach is a bit more of walk away. The kids enjoyed sleeping on the closed-in "porch" but it seemed the doors to it don't close all the way, meaning us parents had to be quiet after they went to bed. A word of warning: there's a bit of an ant issue going on in the kitchen (a closed box of donuts we left on the counter one evening was infested with them the next morning) -- but once we sealed and put everything away they seemed to leave us alone. Otherwise we had a great time in the house and surrounding areas and would definitely consider it in the future!

From booking to check out, this was all smooth. The property was absolutely perfect! The backyard and patio is the highlight of the trip. The ocean breeze is a rock throw away and the downtown area with food and ice cream is a walk away. 10 out of 10!

Maria was super responsive to any question that I had and her clear directions made everything very easy. We were a group of 3 couples and found that we had plenty of space; we especially loved the backyard. The cape breeze was cool enough most nights, but we did appreciate the a/c window units on one particularly humid evening. The house had everything we needed -- and more importantly, everything was clean, organized, and functional. A small but notable feature that speaks to Maria's attention to detail were the incredibly soft, fluffy bath towels that were provided for us. Thank you!

The house was exactly as described, and being there for 5-6 days with our family (2 adult daughters, their spouses, and 2 children 3 & under) we thought might be stressful because the house was not as large as others we had rented. But it wasn't. Everybody found their space, whether it was in the shaded front room, the sunny porch, in the kitchen, or by the fireplace. And all the amenities were there & all were useful/worked well. It was also convenient to the wedding venue, to Onset, and to the beach. Because it was smaller than the house we rented together last time, my granddaughter dubbed it "the Doll House".

The house was so adorable and clean! There were bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels and other little things that were left for us to use which was so nice. Maria gave plenty of recommendations for places to eat and beaches to visit. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking to visit Onset!

Maria's property is clean, bright, and has everything you need. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the front porch, the back deck and walking as well as bike riding in the neighborhood. The local beach was an afternoon well spent and the bike path on the cape was worth some extra driving. Overall, we enjoyed our time!

The "footsteps" to Broad cove description was somewhat accurate but very misleading. it is a very short walk away from property but you are lead to believe that its closer than it actually is. You can't even see the water from the property. Having said that all in all the property itself is very nice. The back deck is a gem! Very close to dozens of eateries and loads of activities or you can just stay and chill at the very well stocked house. Though there are several ac units we only needed to run one during 90 degree heat wave. Every room has ceiling fan which circulated cool air nicely throughout . Thank you Maria for sharing your property with us .
