About this house rental
Winnall Springs is a modern, spacious, country house set in approximately 1 acre of gardens with natural, spring-fed pond. It has beautiful views from every window, and looks out over rolling Worcestershire countryside towards the Malvern Hills in the South.
There are wonderful walks (many off-road) locally, Ombersley Golf Course is approx 1.5 miles away, and the pretty riverside towns of Stourport-on-Severn and Bewdley are within very easy reach. You may also be interested in trips on the Severn Valley Railway, or visiting West Midland Safari Park which are both nearby. Lincomb Equestrian Centre and Orchid Spa (massages and beauty treatments) are a short walk along the quiet lane from the house.
We have an ultra-fast fibre broadband connection to the house (up to 950 Mbps), and free Wi-fi is included.
If you’re thinking of having a family/group celebration at the house we can highly recommend Plyvine Catering for large or smaller catering needs.
A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome at a small extra cost.
The house is very well presented and equipped to a high standard having recently undergone extensive refurbishment. A large hot tub is placed adjacent to the raised rear decked area to take advantage of the views. The oak-framed Orangery is perfect for relaxing, whilst the large open-plan kitchen is a particular feature, having all Miele appliances and an Aga positioned in the centre island. The sitting room has a log burning stove with wood provided free of charge during winter months. There are two cloakrooms, a boot room, laundry room, dining room and study/bedroom five on the ground floor. The study has a double bed.
Four bedrooms are located on the first floor; bedroom one is a large room with king sized double bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom; bedroom two is spacious and has a double bed and ensuite shower room with WC, it also has a large kiddies den with TV and games console, and various other toy/games: bedroom three has double bed with ensuite shower room with WC and TV; bedroom four has two single beds and benefits from use of the house bathroom.
Free wi-fi is included, together with Freesat TVs in the sitting room and orangery and Freeview in the bedrooms. Use of the PC in the study is included.
All bed linen and towels provided. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request (please bring your own cot bedding).
There is a charcoal BBQ (please bring your own fuel).
NB: Whilst children are very welcome we would advise close supervision at all times due to the unfenced natural pond, and hot tub.
We make every effort to ensure the house is prepared to a high standard of cleanliness for your arrival. Please ensure that it is left clean and tidy on your departure.

Second time visiting this property. Isolated location, beautiful immaculate home, wonderful gardens and outdoor entertaining space, well equipped large kitchen! Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle with your favourite people, highly recommended.

This was a family get together of 6 adults and 4 children (aged 4-7) and the property was just perfect in every single way - location, size, layout and all the wonderful house amenities. We could not have asked for more with the most special memories made in this truly stunning house. We were reluctant to venture too far away from all this fabulousness but we did visit “Little Owl Farm” up the road one morning which was also perfect for us all. Even the weather was gorgeous making it a perfect 10!

We booked to celebrate my step mums 70th birthday - beautiful house, grounds and surrounding area - really appreciated the welcome basket with added thought for Yvonne’s birthday - the house itself is very comfortable and well equipped - thank you Sandie for being a very good host - we will be back !

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful spacious property. We stayed three nights (the hottest three of the year) and pretty much stayed around the house, enjoying the garden and local walks. We prepared all our meals in the huge well equipped kitchen and ate on the terrace and then sat and chatted until bed time. The evenings were so warm watched the stars and listened to the owls in this lovely peaceful location.

A very impressive house, very well equipped and in a nice quiet location.
Pictures don't do the house justice. Very spacious and comfortable. We only used the lounge once during the week such was the available space. The conservatory and the decking were the locations of choice.
The grounds are ideal for little ones to work off some steam and we were very impressed with Larry the Lawnmower!
The welcome pack was a real bonus and got us off to a great start.
Bedrooms are comfy and light.
Loads to do in the area which was good to occupy the children as well as the adults.
Take it steady down the lane to the house, bound to meet someone going the other way!
Thanks to Sandie for allowing us to rent her beautiful home.

No lack of space here!
Large, comfortable, well maintained and presented house and garden out in quiet countryside. Plenty of parking space. Only 10 minutes drive into Stourport-on-Severn.
If you have very young (grand)children bring cots and high chairs (one provided).
The hottub was a bonus.
Loved it. Expensive maybe, but very well worth it.

We have never stayed somewhere that was just so effortlessly easy, from booking the accommodation through to check out. Sandie was very responsive to any queries and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house was absolutely perfect and really clean. Little extras like the prosecco and the hamper were a great surprise. Thank you so much. We'll be back!

Such a well equipped property, genuinely thought of every scenario from travel cot and high chair for young families to a downstairs bedroom for anyone unable to make the stairs. The kitchen have every pot/pan/utensil you could need plus added extras of dishwasher tabs and dog treats. Really cannot say enough about the this property. It really was the best property I have stayed in

Booked the house for my 50th birthday 1 week before Christmas. Very thoughtful welcome hamper on arrival. The house was dressed for Christmas which the kids loved. There is so much space, inside & outside! The Kitchen & orangery is a great space for everyone to get together. The lounge in the evening with the log burner-so relaxing.. Nice big open dining room (which we didn’t use🤦♂️)All the bedrooms were very comfortable. The hot tub overlooking the pond/small lake was enjoyed by all. Huge garden.
Away from the house there a lovely walks in every direction. Recommend the walk upto the golf club for Sunday carvery.
Sandie’s communication from start to finish was excellent.
We will definitely return for another weekend!

This is my 2nd visit to this property. And after coming in 2019 for a group of mates 30th birthday I was desperate to return. I booked this property for my Dad's 60th birthday and we had the best time. The house is immaculate, the owner even left a card and a bottle of bubbles for my Dad. They also let us check in a bit early so we could set balloons up before my dad arrived.
Its just the perfect venue for a celebration and I can't wait to return for trip number 3.

This was a return visit for us. We stayed in October last year and had such a good time we rebooked for this year. The house is amazing. Spacious, modern and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a lovely walk to a local golf club. Thanks for a lovely stay, we are already trying to arrange a date for next year

The property and location were perfect for our extended family of 10 from all corners of the USA. The quality of the amenities, cleanliness of the property, and beautiful views from all rooms of the house were exceptional; a wonderful experience.

Great property in lovely surroundings. Hosts were prompt to respond to any messages and were very accommodating.
If going during school holidays I would suggest pre booking attractions as we missed out on a few things due to them being fully booked.

What a beautiful place, set on a quiet road and well modernised. The family (3 generations) had a great week there including time at the house but also trips - kids to Little Owl Farm Park, just down the road - adults to Harvington Hall, 15 min away, and all to Ludlow Castle, Wyre Forest and Severn Valley Railway. The kitchen was a delight, well stocked with crockery and cutlery, Le Creuset pans (yes, really!) and Coffee Bar. The beds were super comfortable and the attic playroom a win with the kids. We all felt the house was even better than the pictures with little touches from Sandie which made one feel extra welcome. Shame we couldn't book for 2 weeks!

It’s hard to know where to start because everything was so good. I’ll start by thanking Sandie because we had a late change to our travel arrangements but once Sandie was aware of our situation she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Fantastic host.
The house was better in real life, which is surprising because it looks fantastic on the website. The kitchen is full of quality appliances, as well as being very well stocked with plates, bowls etc. A lovely welcome hamper with milk in the fridges was also a lovely surprise. We even had a welcome gift for our dog Buster. These small touches made it a great start to our holiday. The rest of the house had quality throughout every room. Garden was massive, private and very peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub with NO issues getting in or out, even my 70+ mum in law was able to use it. Lots to see and do close by Stourport on Seven, Bewdley and Malvern are worth a visit.
A great holiday and would definitely go back again.

Wonderful time with family for a 30th birthday weekend
The house and grounds were as incredible as the pictures showed and we all had a great time. The adults fell in love with the kitchen and the kids loved rolling down the garden! Great communication and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only reason the description got 4 stars instead of 5 was the "natural pool" was completely covered in algae so we didn't feel we could use it and it would probably be more accurate to call it a pond. Our dog absolutely loved it though! We would still highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

Fabulous Property
We had a school reunion for tge weekend - just 8 of our group and had a pretty amazing time.
The property is beautiful and has everything you can think of.
Tge hot tub was fab but we found it a bit tricky getting the top off/ on and getting in/out because of where it’s positioned. We are all in our 50s so we found it to be a challenge.
We would definitely go back - if it was closer to home.
Thank you to Sandie, who kindly waited for our Tesco delivery as we were stuck in traffic on the M6 - even though Tesco didn’t deliver.

Fantastic Stay for our Family ranging from 2 years old to 84 years old
I was worried the listing was too good to be true but do not doubt, you have a found a treasure in this listing. The kitchen is brilliant and the personal touches and gardens are amazing. Easy access and brilliant bath tub for the littlies. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and will definitely return if Sandie will have us. We decided to cook and stay at the house during our stay as we had everything we needed. Tesco and Lidl are short drive away and we also visited the Little Owl Farm which was fabulous for my toddler.
