It was very roomy , comfy bed along with a great view !! The patio was used for breakfast and drinks after long days ! We would stay here again. The host was very helpful with places to get groceries!

Exactly as described. Comfortable with superb air conditioning. The walk up the stairs/ramps with luggage was manageable, there are options to take bus to top of stairs and walk down instead. Garden and patios are where we spent all our time -stunning!

Une semaine formidable dans une charmante maison dont la grande terrasse est posée sur la mer. Tranquillité dans ce havre de paix.

Location was fantastic. It's about half way up the steps with the entry gate to the property on the trail. The house sits back off the trail so it's still quiet and secluded. The property is spacious and comfortable. Out host met us with some wine and home grown lemons. The views from the balcony are fantastic. This place is a great location to have as your base as you enjoy Cinque Terre. Will definately stay here again

Excellent location and view from patio
We really enjoyed this property with great views and easy access to the train. It is situated one third of the way up the stairs from the station to Cornigula. A reasonable walk up the hill to Margareta's store for fresh food supplies. The kitchen was well supplied and there was lots of space for us and two adult children. Thanks to Christian who made it easy for all of us to stay there. We would highly recommend it.

Amazing view, comfortable stay, convenient location
We stayed four days and could not be happier! The location was perfect and we are so glad we stayed in Corniglia. From the train station you can take the pedestrian path and it is about halfway up the steps. Other option is to take the bus and have the driver let you off at the pharmacy. We did that option as we did have a small carry on each and there are a ton of stairs. The very nice owner let us drop our bags while the house was being cleaned as we arrived early in the morning. She then came and found us in Corniglia when we could check in.
The view is amazing! Wide open, gorgeous and quiet and private despite people going up and down the stairs all day. The train tracks are below but are not an issue when sitting outside or sleeping. You can hear the train while outside but for us, we didn’t find it to be a big deal (and certainly not a distraction) and I only heard it a little from inside on a rare occasion.
The home has everything you need from a large fridge and freezer, comfy bed, blow dryer and iron.
I loved the foot path to and from the gate as there was a lemon tree and lots of great flowers, cactus and trees.
We had several great meals in town to include the best hamburger ever at Bar Nunzia and amazing food at La Laterena. I also highly recommend the wine bar as they have delicious tapas!
We loved sipping wine out on the patio. The owner has gotten different outdoor patio furniture than what is shown in the photos and it was very comfortable and a great place to relax.
We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Base for Everything
What a wonderful view, quiet nights, great restaurants nearby, easy acess to the trail to the next village. Trains and bus are busy so be patient, this is a great part of the world, slow down an enjoy the Mediterranean.

what a view
steps can present challenges with luggage, but the view and privacy make it worth it. Thank you for a great memory of Cinque Terre

Wonderful stay - incredible view
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Paradise in the Blue. The property is the second floor of a house that is located 1/3 of the way up the Lardinia (stairway with 386 steps from the train station in Corniglia to the village). The views from the deck of the Ligurian Sea and Manarola are magnificent. Our hosts we very welcoming with water and a chilled bottle of wine ready for us on our arrival. The property had all the amenities our family needed - and we thoroughly enjoyed a few days in the Cinque Terre.

Gorgeous views!
We absolutely loved the setting and views of this property! It’s great for a couple or for a family. Our host, Martina, was so welcoming and accommodating. She had a large bottle of water and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. She had also picked lemons from the tree on the property for us. Kitchen and bathroom was well stocked. Please note that there are lots of steps to walk in order to get to and from the property... but the view is spectacular.

Beautiful Location
My wife and family stayed here for 2 nights in June and loved it. Corniglia is perched up very high which has it's challenges when it comes to getting to the property (many, many steps) but this also affords you an incredible view. There is a large terrace that we spent the evenings on because the view was unreal. I would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic
Only superlatives can describe this property - and the family that rents it. They extended every courtesy while we were there, and there is not one moment of the day or night that the setting is not breathtaking. We ate in more than expected because the shops in town are so good, and because the table on the terrace was so inviting. Our only regret is not staying longer.

Peaceful Oasis
This property has an incredible view and all the amenities. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. They even left us a bottle of wine! The property also includes a vineyard, lemon trees and a multitude of beautiful flowers. Plus, in my opinion, Corniglia is the best of the Cinque Terre towns. It is worth the 365 steps to experience such beauty and peacefulness.

Truly exceptional location
This house sits on the hillside between the village of Corniglia and the train station below. You enter it from the garden gate along the Lardarina. The down side of this location is that you cannot go anywhere at all without navigating the stairs, but we felt the beautiful view and privacy more than made up for hiking up and down the stairs. The photos of this listing are completely accurate. They might even undersell how beautiful it is. The inside of the house is well outfitted for guests--especially the kitchen, which we cooked in and enjoyed. Every house has its quirks and this one's is its tiny shower. Truly tiny. But that wasn't a big deal; the water was hot and plentiful. We loved our stay!

One of a kind location
This apartment met all our needs (we cooked in and dined out). All appliances worked great. The weather allowed us to relax on large patio facing the sea. The location, about half way up the stairs, was ideal for trekking up to the market/center of town, or down to the train. The church bells, trains, and voices of people going up/down the steps added to the overall ambience, but quieted down at night time. We slept comfortably. We were greeted with wonderful hospitality when we checked in. It was hard to walk away at the end of our stay. Highly recommend!

Unique place in a beautiful setting
I strongly recommend this place. It is fantastic---with a beautiful view of the coast, a large garden, and even a vineyard on property. The hosts were very welcoming. You have to go down many steps to get there, so be prepared to carry luggage quite a bit---but it was well worth the trip. Highly recommended.

Truely paradise, once you find it!
Can not say enough good things about this beautiful, clean, well appointed, large private property. They even left us a delicious bottle of locally grown wine and a bowl of fresh lemons picked from the garden trees! The beautiful garden walk leading to the front of the house is a sight to behold, the back terrace area for sunbathing or relaxing looking out over the terraced vineyards to the sea is so quiet and peaceful you’ll feel like the only one around for miles. And then there is the gorgeous tiled patio out front, also overlooking it all straight out to the Lingorian Sea. Just a slice of heaven on Earth.
Like many Eurropean homes, the shower is perhaps the smallest I’ve ever been in. It functions fine, but if a large shower is an issue this may not be your place. Everything else is so wonderful I sure would not rule it out for that!
The one issue you should most definitely be aware of though is the difficulty in finding the exact place. There is not a house number, just the “street” name. But it is not a street at all. It is a long walk way leading from the train station to a set of 365 stairs (36 or more flights of 5-11 steps per) the first 100-120 from the train being the steepest then gently getting “easier” for the last 210 or so. The property is 1/3 of the way up or ~2/3 of the way down. You will know you are there when you find the locked gate with a blue & white “Welcome” sign and bordered by large potted cactus plants. Very lovely! People often stopped on the steps to peer down the garden path and ask about the house (you might put a VRBO posting out there? We told many people about it). Or you enter from above from the road through town. We had a car with us and worried about parking, but I had printed out an extra copy of the booking showing the property and hand wrote the dates that we were there and left it on the drivers side front dashboard. We were able to park in the restricted parking areas for residents only (yellow spaces in town) and did not have any trouble or get any tickets. Once there, we never moved it.
I wish We could have stayed for a month!
