The apartment’s location was a short walk to the Metro subway as well as some amazing restaurants. It wasn’t located in the city center so it was more quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the Metro for easy transportation to/from.

It was great for 7 adults. My only suggestion would be to enable the WiFi repeater so there would be WiFi in the bedrooms

The location of the apartment was in a quiet neighborhood and was walkable to a small grocery store and a few restaurants. We used Uber a lot to get around to other parts of the city and that was very convenient. The apartment does have other residents and they do not want any noise so I would definitely not bring a rowdy group or small children. The owner was very responsive and gave us a late check out to accommodate our Ferry time which we appreciated. The view was absolutely gorgeous, the pictures did not lie.

The property is beautiful, and accessible by elevator, six floors up. The view is exactly as shown in the photos and is spectacular. It is near to many attractions and services. The deck view is spectacular. The gentle breeze and pleasant temperatures in (summer) mornings and evenings, makes it great for breakfast and unwinding. Sunsets are heavenly.
It was spotless and generally pleasant for food prep, dining and sleeping.
One area that needs attention, however, is the hot water. There was none, which made showering quick and simple since it didn't matter which way you turned the fixture, you got the same temperature water.
Given the overall quality of the experience, along with Athens' simmering temperatures, however, it was more of conversation piece for our group rather than a deal breaker.

The driver hire by the property management didn't know exactly where the property was, so there was some walking up and down the street to locate the property, during which time we were assailed by an angry neighbor who shoved a complaint into each of our hands, which clearly spelled out that we were NOT welcome, we were NOT guests, and that we should leave. The flyer also went on to malign the property owner as not belonging to the neighborhood, only some foreigner looking to make money. This cast a pall over our entire visit, some family were scared for their safety as the flyer made clear we were NOT welcome and should leave.
Yannis, who was waiting for us only shrugged the flyer off, clearly he was quite familiar with this practice, and he didn't care. Yannis impatiently showed us around the house and could not get the stove to work.
The master bedroom shower does not hang well in the holder, which is loose, and falls on the person taking the shower and spraying water everywhere.
The chairs in the dining room effectively are on three legs, which means if one leans even slightly in either direction, the chair threatens to fall over. Seat cushions don't stay on the chairs as their straps are mostly broken, probably from previous guests falling over in the chairs.
Ironically, after the angry neighbor's flyer spewing hate for foreign visitors and accusing us of bad behavior and noise, we heard loud music on Saturday night through the entire night.
The AC worked.

The property description perfectly describes the unit. We had a lovely stay. The views are truly wonderous and the outside patio was a great game night spot! Beds are comfy and AC works great. The small challenges we faced was: cabs didn't like coming up to pick you up at that location (we didn't try UBER so maybe that's a better alternative), the stairwell is lit by individual floors so sometimes it got dark in there and we had a tough time figuring out how to program the dry cycle on the washing machine to dry the clothes. We would hearitly recommend the unit and would return without hesitation. Thanks for a lovely stay!

View of Athens was spectacular as advertised. But, the negatives overrode the view and the claim of an "Exclusive" apt. The manager was not on-site at the check-in time, although he had been texted 1 hour before we arrived as requested. When called, he said he would be there in 1/2 hour but it took almost 1 1/2 hours after check-in time before he arrived. This caused us to miss our 4:45 tour costing us $464, which he barely acknowledged. The beds hadn't been made, which he finished (sort of), leaving one of our group to make up her own bed. In the house tour, he said that the dryer didn't work, and we would have to use a drying rack (small) like most Athenians. The advertisement definitely didn't mention that-and 7 passengers just getting off a 9-day cruise couldn't fathom hanging our underwear off the balcony, despite this being the local custom even if it was feasible. Another problem was the hot water. The apartment uses solar to supplement the electric, but we were supposed to leave it off most of the time. But for 7 people, solar was insufficient to handle our hot water needs. The resulting cold showers were not appreciated; electric heat became a necessity. Would not recommend for families with small children or seniors. There are random stone steps in the apt. and dining chairs that have only 3 legs. Both of these resulted in several falls and bruises.

Spacious, neat n tidy ,view from dining,Living and front deck was absolutely spectacular!!
Quiet building, close to what we were hoping for, corner market down hill from this apartment was fantastic and owner and staff terrific and helpful!!
We walked up Labbiticus Hill and monastery look out from apartment in cool of evening and spoiled by lights of the whole city below!!
Our group of 56+enjoyed all immensely but to each his own in todays overly critical society!!

The property is spacious, very well-maintained, and in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the apartment is stunning, and offers a panoramic scene of the city of Athens. It was an amazing place to explore the city from, far out-of-the-way for it to be quiet and restful in the evenings and close enough to get into the city without an issue every day. I would highly recommend it for someone wanting to see Athens not be overwhelmed with the noise of the inner city.

We really enjoyed our stay in Athens and this apartment met all our needs. We were a party of 7 adults and there was room for all of us. A driver was available when we needed, and Uber worked really well also. We felt at home in the large living space and the view was incredible.
Thanks for a great stay. I would recommend this apartment.

Our family stayed here in April for a few days in Athens. We enjoyed the views and hanging out on the balcony. The listing was accurate and it was easy enough navigating the buses and metro from the apartment. It was a nice walk/hike to the top of Lycabettus Hill too.

we had a good stay in the penthouse appartment.
close to the city center, and easy transportation with nearby metro station (10 minutes walk), but not the hassle of crowded places.
Appartment had the space we expected.
perfect for family stays.

Everything was as described. Lia met us at the apartment and explained everything an even joined us for our first walk to the supermarket. 5 stars. It is true that their is a hill to get to the apartment but good exercise. Views magnificent.

The apartment is beautiful with a well thought out modern design. We loved the LED lighting in the master bedroom. The three and a half bathrooms are all modern with late model showers and toilets. There were plenty of bath towels and toilet paper when we stayed. The beds are all comfortable with clean linen and the closet space throughout the apartment is fit for a queen. From the air conditioning to the plumbing to the water heating everything worked well. The terrace, the living areas, and the dining/kitchen areas are wonderful places for large groups of friends or families to spend time together. Finally, our host Costas made our stay even more enjoyable by taking care of our transportation from the airport and recommending great places to eat (Kuzina is amazing).

Great accommodations
The house was very spacious, and in a good location. The property manager was very good with helping us check in and anything else we needed like transportation. We enjoyed our stay there and will use it again if I was to stay in Athens again

Large apartment
There were good things and bad things about this apartment. The apartment was large enough for my family-there were 7 of us. We were able to cook meals so, we didn't need to eat out as much. The grocery store was about a 5-10 minute walk. But, this apartment is on a very steep incline. Walking back with bags of groceries was challenging.
We were able to do laundry. However, the wash cycle took more than an hour so, we hung our clothes out on the patio to dry.
There is ac units attached to the walls in every room. the unit in the master bedroom didn't work very well. After running for about 2-3 hours it would freeze up and blow out hot air. We would shut it off for a few minutes and then turn it back on. It would work for a while, then. The first time we turned on the ac units we could smell a musky moldy smell blowing out of all of them. Not good. We all started having breathing problems and started coughing very hard and got sinus infections.
There is a view of the Acropolis but, it is so far away it was hard to see without using the zoom on our cameras. And even then you really couldn't tell what it was. There are very large windows but, several of them are fogged up so we could see out of them.
There was plenty of comfortable seating in the living room. The furniture looks as if it could use a good cleaning, though.
The beds were harder than we would have liked. Same for the pillows.
Believe it or not we liked the apartment (except for the ac issue). It suited our needs very well.

Excellent property
This property is great! Like other reviews said, the furniture is older and probably should be replaced, but the view of the city (not acropolis) and the ice cold air conditioning make up for it. Recommend there be a trash can provided for the kitchen, but overall a wonderful place!

Fantastic apartment with incredible views
We had a great 3 day stay in this apartment. Spacious, clean, has everything you need. There were eight of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. Grocery store was two blocks away, metro station is a 10 minute walk and 3 stops to get to historic area. Also, I highly recommend Dimitri and his car service if you need to go anywhere. He picked us up from the port, drove us to the airport when we were leaving, and also took us on a half-day trip down to see the Temple of Poseidon and go to the beach. Thanks for everything!

Amazing View!!
Beautiful home that is a good mixture of new and old Greek architecture. Amazing view of the city, first time in Greece so that was perfect! Very close to a market, bus station and train to get to places. Definitely would stay here again :)

Wonderful Stay in Athens
We had a wonderful time in Athens and the Kolonaki apartment was excellent.
Booking and check in could not have been easier. Costas met us at the apartment, reviewed all the essentials, and gave us his phone number in case we had any issues. We also booked transport from the airport for our group of seven. I would highly recommend this...the cost is comparable to airport taxis and Dimitris, our driver, was outstanding. In fact, we booked a private day trip to Delphi with Dimitris. It was less than a large group and Dimitris offered to arrange a guide (we opted to view the site on our own and had an amazing day), and he recommended a fantastic, authentic restaurant for lunch.
As for location of the apartment, you will likely have to use public transport to get to the center. The metro is a little more than a 1/2 mile away, but it is very easy to navigate and we enjoyed escaping the bustle of the touristy area at the end of the day. Taxis are also an option; the main street is a few minutes walk.
For shopping, there is a grocery two minutes away, which we visited often. There are also a few restaurants on the main street, within easy walking distance.
The apartment itself is very large, with great common space in the living/dining room area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable and three bathrooms was a plus. And the views are truly spectacular. One minor note...a few of the windows need replacing as they are misted over and it does take away from the view a bit.
Overall, if you are comfortable being a bit removed from the tourist center and taking the subway, I highly recommend this apartment. I also can't speak highly enough of Dimitris and would strongly recommend you inquire about his day trips.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay in Athens so relaxed, wonderful, and memorable!

Lovely apartment in Athens
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Athens. The property is HUGE. It's the whole floor of a building and is way more than our family of four needed, but it was so nice for us to all have our private areas. This apartment gets such beautiful views and light. I loved the big windows and huge terrace overlooking the city. We loved the eclectic decor, it just added to the charm of visiting a European city.
The few negatives of the apartment were very small. Hot water is at a minimum at night because the water heater uses solar heating. There is a back up electric water heater but it didn't get very hot, so plan to shower in the mornings. One of the bathrooms had a bad sewer smell, and one of the showers in the apartment didn't work at all. But with so many bathrooms to choose from, this was not a problem at all. The laundry is the typical European washer and dryer combo, so if you are used to American laundry you'll probably find this frustrating/inefficient to use.
The location was a long walk from central Athens and public transportation was not especially close. So if you are here to sightsee, plan to do a lot of walking! But that is the best way to see a city anyway. There is a wonderful farmer's market in the neighborhood on Tuesdays that should not be missed! An unexpected plus (or minus depending on your preference) is that Athens is full of street cats. My son spent lots of time befriending the ones who lived on the block and we loved watching them on the neighboring roofs from our balcony.

Great place!
Really really good! We had some troubles with directions (lack of cell service) and they were extremely patient with us finding it. It’s huge, fantastic view, and a great green space a block away for a best view of Athens. Highly recommended.

Athens in March
We loved our time in this apartment. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Check-in and check-out was easy and everyone was so friendly. The apartment is in a lovely neighborhood with a small market and several restaurants close by. Most tourist attractions and trendier restaurants involve a short and inexpensive taxi ride or a longer (but pleasant) walk. We would happily book here again and look forward to visiting when it’s warm enough to sit on the patio for hours watching the sun go down!

Comfortable and spacious
What a brilliant apartment in which to spend time in Athens! Six of stayed here for 4 nights and we would have happily stayed for longer. Although it’s not in the centre of the city, all the main places are very accessible within about 20 minutes’ walk and it’s really good to come away from the crowds at the end of the day and sit on the large terrace overlooking the lights below. The owners were very helpful and organised taxis from the airport, as well as providing lots of helpful information on local shops and places to eat.
I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone heading to Athens

Spacious and comfortable with great views
We enjoyed our stay here very much. With three adult couples we had plenty of space, comfortable beds, modern amenities and wonderful views. The patio balcony and sliding windows in the living area were very enjoyable during the late september afternoons.
We put the laundry room and single unit washer/dryer to good use as well as the kitchen. The kitchen is modern but lightly kitted. The elevator is convenient but very small. Be ready to make multiple trips up to the fifth floor for luggage.
The neighborhood is walkable with quick access to grocery stores, bus stop, and metro station. We stumbled on farmer's market that was set up along a nearby street and a workshop that hosts marble sculpting classes within two blocks. The whole area is on the side of a local mountain, though. Be ready to navigate steep slopes, stairs, and narrow streets.
We would stay here again if we get back to Athens.

This place was good for the price
Thé place was clean and had a very nice view. Communication was good but the last day we received attitude for wanting help to find passport once we had left out for checkout which was messed up but other then that the stay was nice for what we paid.

Great local neighborhood
Everything worked out here, but it is some distance to Athens attractions. Nice bedrooms and lots of room. Beds were comfortable and they have a nice balcony as well. Overall would stay here again.

Excellent home in a beautiful area!
A fabulous apartment in a beautiful residential area of Athens allowed us a little taste of Greek life. The home is huge, an entire floor of the building, offering room for our family of five to spread out and relax as well as comfy spaces to come together. We really enjoyed the layout and decor, it is a little quirky with lots of mixed textures giving it a unique appeal which we loved. The kids especially enjoyed the poufs in the living room for lounging. Beds are all comfy and cozy with crisp sheets and duvets as well as blackout curtains in each room.
Perched in the Lycabettus Hill area the view is amazing. The balcony is perfect to watch the sunset and morning views from the dining room during breakfast made starting each day wonderful. Being on a hill does mean walking can be strenuous but with everything to see and experience we enjoyed it each day, even the kids, and found different routes to make the most of the adventure. Taxies are easy to find once you reach the main road if walking is not appealing, and the metro is an easy walk to get into the heart of the city and out to the coast. We used it a few times and found it really easy to navigate.
Communication throughout the booking stages and checking in was brilliant. The management company arranged all airport transfers and we were met at the apartment upon arrival so they could show us how things worked as well as places of interest for sightseeing, shopping, and groceries. This was really helpful as this was our first time in Athens.
We would definitely stay here again!
