Everything up to staying in the property was excellent. When we arrived, the outside of the building looked derelict and I then realised why the photos of the outside of the property was blurred.
Inside, the apartment was very good, except the bathroom. It was clean, spacious and had all the facilities needed.
However, the shower was very small and you have to do a big step to get into it. There was not enough space to shower without the shower curtain touching you most of the time. My wife, is taller than me and found it very difficult. When we arrived home, my wife looked at the original listing which has photos of a walk-in shower which would have been much more suitable.
The location is great, with loads of great places to eat and small shops to visit. Unfortunately, we picked the wrong week for weather as it rained a lot and we ended up flying back early as there was little to do in bad weather.
The hosts were very helpful until we contacted Vrbo about the shower. They were very defensive but Vrbo complicated matters by informing the owners that we returned early because of the shower, which wasn’t the case. If we had known about the shower beforehand, we wouldn’t have booked the accommodation and it’s unacceptable that old photos are still on the listing.

Wonderful stay
Great apartment very close to the old town without the crowds. Hosts Spiros and Katerina were so welcoming and helpful. The apartment is extremely well appointed with anything one might need for a day or even multi-week stay. Convenient to walk to any of the sites but quiet for resting. I would stay here again in the future. I can’t say enough about the hosts. Great place and great stay.

Stunning location
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in Corfu town overlooking the old marina and old fortress in old town. The apartment was small but had everything we needed and we were able to cook meals in the small kitchen to enjoy inside or on the patio with the lovely view.
Katerina and Spiros helped us when we arrived and had the apartment well equipped with supplies for our stay including basic spices, tea, coffee, honey, sugar, olive oil, vinegar and a bottle of wine and ouzo and kumquat liquor to sample.
My husband was able to work from a desk set up in the second bedroom and enjoy the lovely view.
They responded quickly to requests and concerns and arranged for a later check out when we needed it.
We highly recommend this property, it’s amenities, views, comfort, ambiance and central location to see the major sites in Corfu Town.

Five star view and location
My husband and I spent a week here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved our time away! The views from the accommodation are stunning and wherever you were in the apartment, you could see the sailing boats and cruise ships, going past with the mountains beyond. Wonderful lit up at night and what a great place to wake up to in the morning.
The apartment itself is cosy and clean and we were very grateful for the provisions left for us to use. It was fab to have a hairdryer and iron too when travelling light , as well as shampoo etc.
From the outside the property looks almost derelict and walking up the stairs you might be worried as to whether that is the case 😀. However, don’t be put off at all. There are families living there and we felt very safe. We also slept well as despite the fact it’s busy outside, once the doors are shut it’s quiet. There was no noise problem at all and we are fussy!! We did love sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by and one night we were treated to accordion music and singing from the cafe below as the sun set.
Staying there was perfect for going out around the old town both day and night on foot. We didn’t need a car and took buses for trips using high grade masks.
We swam in the ocean down by the fort (which we also visited) near the cafe out in the water. Mountains and harbour as the backdrop. We went to Palaiokastritsa and paid for sun beds on the far bay where you had your money returned in snacks/ drinks so it ends up free and we swam in the ocean where many people were snorkelling. We visited mouse island and the white monastery there, watching the planes land from the cafe, we took a pirate ship tour for about an hour and a half too. We also went to Aqualand. My husband was a bit lonely doing the slides as I would only go in the lazy river 😀. Great park though.
We highly recommend the beach at Kontogialos but beware the bus drops you at the top of a steep hill. It’s fine going down but walking back up in the heat is tough. No doubt you can get a taxi. It was a fabulous beach and not at all crowded when we were there. Avoid Fishermen George’s cafe at the end of the bay as he overcharges with a big smile on his face!
We were able to easily walk to medical centre for COVID tests needed for our return. We ate in several restaurants and with great views. They weren’t too expensive.
Wonderful accommodation with real character. Would no hesitate to return. Thankyou x

Lovely Honeymoon
The accommodation was perfect for us and Katrina very helpful. We loved the view and the area and had a fantastic holiday. The only problem was trying to sleep on the double bed mattress which definitely needs replacing as it’s very uncomfortable. Thank you very much for having us and for making us welcome. We loved Corfu x

Anisis App.; Aikaterini Papageorgiou

We had a great time here, very nice apartment and very convenient in Old Corfu Town. Aikaterini and her husband Spyros were very nice and gave us many tips on places to go and restaurants to eat. We had a terrific time.

Amazing location
Beautiful apartment in a great location with a great view of the sea.
Well appointed with everything you need for a holiday apart from a washing machine
Owner meets and greets which is great. Lots of little extras which make a real difference.
Downside is 75 steps up and no lift. Despite that we really enjoyed our stay here.

Prima!
Nice reception by Katarina and her daughter.
The apartment as expected, well furnished and in the fridge bottled water,
a bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit on the table.
Location is ideal, everything within walking distance and the view from the balcony beautiful.
We had a great stay.

Parfait: propre, bien situé, propriétaires très sympathiques et accueillants!
My wife and myself stayed 10 days in the Anesis flat in Corfou around 1st November 2018.
Everything is at least as good as described in the Abritel site. Just pay attention that there is no lift and the flat is on 3rd floor. It did not inconvenience us since we like walking.
Catherine and Syros are wonderful people, who welcome you with warmth, gifts and smiles.
The flat is well equipped and they made sure to provide you with all necessities when you arrive: sugar, tea, coffee, butter and even ouzo, kumquat liquor, wine...
From the balcony there is a magnificent view over the old harbor and the new fort.
The accommodation is within the old town, where no cars are allowed (but cars can come along the sea side where is the entrance of the building). You can walk to St Spiridon' church in 5 minutes and be at the heart of the old town.
At that time of year the sea is still warm and we could bathe every day, There are very few tourists except those who come out of cruise boats, but they mostly stay in Corfu town.
Many thanks to Catherina and Spyros, whom we hope to meet again in Paris, for this wonderful holidays..

Lovely decorated, cosy, and perfectly located! We would definitely come back!
We had 10 wonderful days in the apartment! It is perfectly located in the lively old town of Corfu city. You just need to go down the stairs and you have lots of great restaurants and cafés. The view from the balcony is beautiful and perfect for having breakfast or a drink. If you want to rent a car, there are couple of agencies around and lots of free of charge parking spaces at the old port.
The apartment was clean and really cosy. The windows are soundproof and the air condition and WLAN worked perfect. The flat is completely equipped. When we arrived, we found salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, coffee and tea... everything you need for cocking and starting your day. Aikaterine and Spyros welcomed us so heartily! They offered us cold water in the fridge, fresh grapes, white wine, some sweets special for Corfu, ouzo, and kumquat liqueur. It was wonderful!

Gorgeous apartment in the best location possible
The apartment is in the best location in the old town of Corfu, Amazing views and lovely period features. The apartment was very clean with old world charm and very comfortable beds. The airconditioning was a wonderful luxury to escape the hot days of Corfu. Katerina and her daughter were exceptional hosts from the moment we arrived as they were waiting for us at the front of the building and helped us with our luggage, to throughout our stay as they regularly checked on us if everything was ok.
We were lucky enough to find parking right outside the front door so we just left our car there for the duration of our stay and walked everywhere.
The apartment is in a old heritage listed building with a very old staircase leading up to it, but I think that adds to the charm of the experience.
We would not hesitate to stay here on our next trip to Corfu
