We arrived very late due to a Roadblock on our way and very bad road conditions, but the lady was waiting for us (in the middle of nowhere - we were afraid that we would have to spend the night in the car). She even brought us two bedbottles as it was very chilly in the room. There was also a functioning electrical heater in the room.
Breakfast was good and plenty of coffee and milk at our disposal.
5 min. walk to the entrance of Ingapirca architecture monument.
Private parking available in front of the house.
No water available until I went down to inform the owner. He got it running, but too late for a shower that morning (at least we could flush the toilet)

The one plus - it's located a few minutes walk from the entry to the Ingapirka site.
Completely convoluted check-in as we struggled to find someone to help us. The room wasn't fully prepared - we were missing towels. We asked repeatedly and by the time we left, we still had not received towels. We prepaid for breakfast (included) but by the time we had to leave at 8:30 am there was still no one around to serve us breakfast (supposedly from 6am...) and we ended up having to pay elsewhere again for breakfast. There was also no one around to handle check-out, and we ended up having to shove the money (cash) and key under the front door. I messaged to hosts and two days later I still haven't received a reply. This place will need to seriously improve before I'd recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed.

Very close to the ingapirca site. Fine room. Has a restaurant.
Very cold at night. Heating was not enough. Restaurant was not that good but expensive (due to the location).

We stayed for two nights to visit the ruins of Ingapirca, which are just a short walk away from the hostal. This was handy. The room was spacious and the beds quite comfy. The owners are nice people and prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner for us. They could cater for our special dietary requirements (glutenfree and vegan), which was a relief. Thank you!
It was very cold in the room, but we got a hot water bottle, which helped at night. There is a little heater, which we only put in the bathroom since it was far too small to heat up the big room. It helped to warm up the bathroom before taking a shower. The showers were very warm, though. For a short stay we highly recommend this hostal!

The hotel is just about 100 meters from the entrance of Ingaperca. The staff and owner were very helpful. Next time we come to Ingaperca we will come here for sure.

The location is exceptional, just around the corner from the ruins. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and offered us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the life of the community. I would return any time!

Really Nice family. We had good food, breakfast was lovely and they made us a hot water bottle for the bed against the cold at Night. The Place is located Right next to the ruins and close to buses.
