We had a fantastic long weekend as a group of four female friends in this fabulous farm property. It was so warm and cosy and the beds super comfy, with beautiful bedding and furnishings.
It was a great location to visit Waddesdon Manor, decorated for Christmas. We also had a great Sunday roast at the nearby Mole and Chicken. Thanks for a lovely stay x

Charming unobtrusive hosts. Well appointed barn. Very quiet but good local pubs. An excellent venue for a quiet walking break.

Diana and Duncan are excellent hosts, they are very warm and friendly. That's not to mention the animals! Sheep, Chickens, Phil the cat and the two dogs: Kess and Lana. We played with and loved them all.
The children were always keen to get back to the farm after a day out to play with the dogs. During our one week stay my daughter got over her dog phobia! That alone was worth staying at Cutter's barn.
Lots of things to do in the local area. We went to The Chilterns, Cotswolds, Marlow, Henley, Bicester shopping village and Oxford.
This was one of the best self catering we've ever stayed at, lovely spacious rooms and all very clean. We'd definitely stay again.

We spent 10 days at Cutter’s Barn and it has many great features especially if you are spending a large amount of time at the property. The owners live next door, which is super convenient and they are super friendly. We really enjoyed walking through the field and interacting with the animals such as the sheep and their cat and dogs. For anyone with allergies (like us), don’t worry: the animals don’t come in the house. Everything inside the converted barn is clean and comfortable, and it’s big enough for a family to stay very happily.

Couldn't ask for more
A truly lovely home, super clean and beautifully decorated. We had 6 wonderful days with our grown up family at Diana and Duncan's barn and really couldn't have asked for more. The location is great for exploring, walking, cycling and just relaxing. To be on a working farm was an added bonus. The beds are very comfortable, we all slept so well, and the kitchen has everything you need.
Thank you Diana and Duncan for your hospitality, especially for the homemade cookies! We wish you every success!

Rural bliss
We had a great time in the perfectly appointed barn. Comfortable beds, dark bedrooms and quiet countryside meant we all slept well. Larger than it looks in the photos with plenty of room for 6 adults. Everything you could need to make a meal is provided in the kitchen - really thoughtful equipment and store cupboard basics. The farm dogs and cat were just lovely and the chickens lay tasty eggs. A great base for exploring the countryside and lots of good NT houses within a short drive when the weather didn’t co-operate; Netflix on the TV also good for whiling away a rainy evening. Great hosting from Duncan & Diana too. All in all - perfect.

Great stay.
We stayed in this beautifully decorated place as we were attending a wedding nearby. There is 5 of us so staying in a hotel isn’t practical for us anymore. I found this place and it looked amazing.
It made a lovely few days a way amazingly The pictures online do not do this place justice. It’s quiet and peaceful.
Duncan was very quick at replying to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Cutters Barn
A wonderful property in a beautiful location. Duncan and Diana were so helpful and it was a privilege to stay in their home. Fresh eggs from the farm were a perfect welcoming touch. The barn was immaculate and we couldn't have asked for more to be provided. The children (and us adults) thoroughly enjoyed spending time seeing the animals, the location was both perfect for relaxing and commuting. Overall a perfect stay and we can not wait to visit again soon.
A perfect property and stay of which Duncan and Diana should be proud.........a proper home from home, thank you.

Great place for a gathering
We meet annually with our friends as a group of six and this was the perfect venue for a get-together. The whole downstairs is a large sociable space, wonderfully warm and well kitted out. Lots to do nearby and the farm itself with its 50-odd species of birds has a lot to see. Diana and Duncan were very welcoming and helpful and (a first for us) checked the property and returned the breakages deposit within 24 hours. Highly recommended
