About this apartment rental
NOTE: DO NOT SEND A BOOKING REQUEST until we talk via vrbo to determine if we are a good fit.
*** CANCELLATIONS considered as long as we can re-book. With enough time, re-booking a prime-season week is pretty easy but no guarantee. ** If there is a ban on rentals, you will be refunded 100%.
*** Before requesting to book please send us an inquiry with the following:
1. Do you agree to the house rules?
2. Do you agree to sign a rental agreement (RA) we will send you after booking (PLEASE review the contract before you request to book. You can see what is in it by looking at the attached document), (names of those in your party are required), and
3. Do you agree to send us a copy of yourself holding your Drivers License (you can cross of the DL numbers) and pay with a credit card that has the same name on your Drivers License? Name on both must match.
3. Do you agree to discuss rental with us after booking if we ask you to? (most times there is no need).
4. Will anyone in the party be bringing any kind of animal?
5. Will anyone else be invited to the condo even just for a visit?
We are located just over the bridge from Cape May. Come visit during the holidays and see Cape May come alive. We have an indoor pool and jacuzzi that is open year round except for one week in May for maintenance (please ask which week as it could change) , a small playground, a bigger playground very nearby, a basketball court, etc. We are right next door to the ICONA where you can go eat breakfast or dinner (or cook in the condo). Stay here during kids soccer and / or cheerleading, etc.
NOTE: When listing this condo, vrbo asks if it is a 1,2 or 3BR. We can't pick 1BR/Den so we chose 2 BR since each is a separate room with a separate entrance to each of them. There are pocket doors between the rooms as well. The main bedroom has a Queen bed, closet, two end tables and a dresser with a 29" TV. The den has a Bunk Bed (full bottom and single top), and end table, a dresser with a small TV and an area that can fit a pack and play. The Den also leads to the large balcony (compared to other Seapointe balconies) and also has blackout curtains. The main bath is through the main bedroom and the half bath access is through the main living area.
This condo is on the BEST side of the building. See what happens within Seapointe Village rather than being on the noisy side and looking outside at the hotel next door. Also why pay for a two BR when you essentially get a 2 BR with this unit.
Only 2 floors up from the pool area (we used to race our kids - elevator versus stairs) to the 4th floor. But we are plenty high for nice views!
This condos main living area is LARGER than most other one bedroom and dens living area. After all this is where the family gets together. DR table seats 6.
Some folks are saying their units are 2BR when they are 1BR and Den. Ask for square footage to compare units. Our 1BR and Den is about 900 sq feet. A 2BR is supposed to be 1200 sq feet.
Also be aware some folks show a great view of the beach or pools and it leads you believe that it is their view when in fact it is not (their view could be a parking lot).
In the LR, we have a couch, recliner (not shown) and a wicker chair.
Sit back and relax and watch the 50" Smart TV with the family after a long nice day at the beach or pools.
The DR has a table for 6 and the balcony seats 6 for dinner as well. On the balcony, there is a two seat glider, a table and chairs for 4 and a two seat bar height table and chairs, and there is still plenty of room to move around! Many balconies are lucky to fit a table and four chairs.
We have nice views of the ocean, tennis courts, main pool and the dancing waterfalls below as well as the fire pits. Sit on the balcony and people watch since we are in the pathway for folks going to and from the beach. We are in one of the oceanfront buildings so your walk to the beach is only about 1-2 min which makes it easy if you have little ones (as opposed to a 8-10 minute walk from the centre court building while lugging all your beach gear!).
We are centrally located to all the pools including the Centre Court pool and indoor pool.
This 17 acre oceanfront resort is absolutely beautiful - there is nothing like it at the Jersey Shore. Waterfalls, 3 SEASONAL pools (ask for schedule), an indoor/outdoor pool which is open year round except for one week in May (please ask which week as it could change from year to year), tennis courts with pickleball lines, basketball court, deli hut, game room, 6 Jacuzzis (1 is indoors/5 are seasonal outdoor jacuzzis), small playground, exercise rooms, sauna, impeccable landscaping, etc. etc.
IMPORTANT: If you have not been here since 2018, the main waterfall in the main pool has been replaced with a smaller waterfall and what I call dancing water. A new waterfall was installed over the main pool and there is now seating over the pool where the baby pool was. The new baby pool is where the large waterfall used to be. The 3 SEASONAL oceanfront hot tubs were also replaced and are larger than before. There also is more seating since a sundeck has been built.
NOTE: We supply bath towels and linens for your use. If you use them, you must wash/dry/fold and put them away before you leave since it is very difficult to find house cleaners to do that for us. Many owners at Seapointe do not supply any linens. Note that bed sheets are not put on the beds for you. Since the washer/dryer is a stackable unit and takes long to dry, many guests bring their own sheets so they can be out by checkout time. It is recommended that you wash/dry the bath towels the night before.

Beautiful area. Nice people.

The hosts were easy to get ahold of and talk to during the booking process. They had everything laid out for us in the welcome letter before we arrived, so we knew how to get into the property and into the condo. The condo itself was great and the pictures and description are accurate. We loved having access to the different pools and the private beach. The drive down to the boardwalk is not long at all and it was easy to come and go. We would recommend this place and we will most likely try to stay here again next year if it's available.

This was a amazing rental. Place was clean and well stocked. Ocean views and having the beach and pools right at your fingertips was very nice. Convenience of parking garage right to the elevator and your room plus digital lock for condo was a great bonus. Would absolutely love to book again. Thanks to the owners for there attention to detail and a great vacation

The property was as advertised the room was spotless. The location gave a veiw of the ocean and pool. The resort and beach are were sublime. Can't wait to come back. Communication with Fran was prompt and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit

One of the reasons we selected this property was the fact there were four pools and six hot tubs. Unfortunately, very few of the pools/hot tubs were open because of "staffing problems" (we only saw lifeguards at one pool). Overall, Seapointe was beautiful and the condo more than met our needs.

Best Location, Amazing Property!

We visited before things open up for the season but it was very peaceful and relaxing. Just our speed. Great view from the deck. We enjoyed walking on the beach and ordering food from local restaurants for take out. It was too cold to swim but we did not mind. There was an indoor pool but we were so busy we did not make it over to swim during our short stay, maybe next time. We brought all our own bedding, towels, soap etc to make it easier on check out day. We had a great time visiting Cape May for shopping. We also went to Sunset Beach to collect the "diamonds." Also near by is a whale watching cruise we enjoyed a 3 hour trip and saw many dolphins and a whale. The location is perfect near the end before the preserve. I would definitely come back for a visit we had great fun! The owners were great and everything went smoothly.

Location is awesome and grounds are resort style. The pool, beach access, lounge areas are outstanding. Diamond Beach is a fantastic beach - super clean with life guards. The unit is clean, well appointed, has a beautiful deck with ocean views for your morning coffee, a nice dining table for 6, and it has comfy couches and a nice big screen tv. If you are like us (and the weather is nice as it was for us), you won't spend a lot of time inside. The lounge areas are plentiful and never a 6am race to get chairs, there was always plenty and we were never crammed in - the place my wife and I laid out every day was between the pool and the beach, protected from any wind by sand berm, and a few steps from the pool when you needed to cool off. The cons: It's advertised as a two bedroom, which it is NOT, it's a one bedroom with adjoining den (to the master) converted to a quasi-bedroom with a bunkbed - worked out fine because it was just my wife and I - our two adult college kids were working but if they had come, or if we went with another adult couple, the privacy would be non-existent as everyone needs to traipse through the master to get to the only full bath in the place. It's a fair hike to the boardwalk which my wife and I did a couple of times to get exercise, but if you have kids who want to go there every night, it's a jaunt compared to the places we've stayed at in Wildwood Crest so bring parking money. You have to bring everything to this rental, and I mean everything, including salt and pepper (we left some packets behind for the next renter), and your own toilet paper and paper towels. It's a little chintzy for the price of rental, but is was declared up front so my wife was well prepared. We didn't use the sheets, bedspreads, mattress liners, choosing to bring everything from home because check out is 10am and if you have to wash and dry all of that before you leave, be prepared for a 6am start on check-out day. The gas bbq's are adjacent the other unit on the property - not convenient, especially if it's raining (not a problem our week), the ignition system didn't work and there were no lighters. Overall a 4* rating, the unit was very, very, nice and clean and the grounds and beach superb, but it's NOT a 2 bedroom and is not walking distance to the boardwalk if that is of interest for you. For the price, I think there is better value in the Crest.

We had a great time. The fireworks show right off the balcony was a nice surprise! Thanks Fran.

Our family of 4 had such a wonderful time at this property! The location was perfect, close to the beach and pools, which made the whole family happy! The owners were fantastic and provided so much information it made everything so stress free. The property was well kept and very clean as well as the entire resort! So thankful we found this location and were lucky enough to spend the week!
Thank you again to the owners for sharing their place with our family! If we are ever that way again we will definitely be looking to book here first again.
