About this apartment rental
Les Deux Alpes - Ski to and from the Building via the newly renovated Super Venosc Gondola located the opposite side of the building. This spacious and south facing duplex apartment has the best views in town!
This property is professionally deep cleaned after every stay, and we’re taking extra care to disinfect high touch areas between stays and provide a selection of recommended cleaning products for guests’ use. We have machines to disinfect all beds, sofas and every part of the appartement after each client, to insure optimum levels of sanitisation against COVID-19.
This 138m2 duplex apartment has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on the last 2 levels of the apartment complex 7/8th floors, accessed by 3 lifts. There is a large fully equipped kitchen to easily cater for large groups and the table will easily seat 16+. The living area is all open plan for relaxing whilst enjoying the views from the 2 balconies overlooking the Muzelle mountain and one of the best views of Les Deux alpes. All bathrooms are remodelled with walk in showers and or baths and there are 4 toilets, 2 on each floor. If you have any questions please just let me know!
Kitchen will be equipped with large fridge /freezer, 2 full sized ovens and 2 vitroceramic electric hobs, 2 dishwashers, a microwave and all the amenities needed for catering to large parties. There are 3 raclette cheese machines for the typical mountain style meals. Coffee machines are filter and/or Nespresso style with capsules.
The dining room table seats 16+, and there are 3 couches, one U shaped and one in a "L" Format and another standard 3 seater with 2 armchairs to seat everyone comfortably (can become sofa beds but not recommended with large parties!). LED large screen TV and DVD has internet channels set into it. High speed private WIFI is available throughout the apartment and included in your stay.
Located on the 7th floor there are 2 bedrooms separated from the living space via a door to minimise noise.
The first bedroom downstairs has a double bed and cupboard space, with exceptional views overlooking town.
The second bedroom has a single bed, with pull out that can also become a double bed, or two singles.
There is a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink that serves the 2 bedrooms downstairs.
Upstairs there are another 4 bedrooms.
The third bedroom has a double bed (160x200) together with ample closet space and a velux window.
Between the third and fourth bedroom is a bathroom with a bath, sink and toilet.
The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds in a bunk bed and 2 single mattresses (90x200 that can form a double) with closet space.
The fifth bedroom has a double bed (160x200) with ensuite shower and sink .
The sixth bedroom has a double bed (160x200) also a single bed (90x200) that has a pull out to form a double. Attention if the pull out is used there is no floor space! This bedroom has a shower and sink.
There is a seperate toilet at the end of the corridor next to bedroom 6.
The hot water comes from 3 separate water tanks , 2 x 200 litre tank that service each bathroom providing endless hot water after those strenuous days skiing powder!
The apartment is located next to the piste on the Pied Moutet side of the mountain and set above the town of Les Deux Alpes, Le Flocon D’or is positioned in the resort’s ‘sun zone’, offering ski-in/ski-out access to the south facing slopes. The Jandri express gondola, taking you up to Europe’s largest glacier, is less than a 5 minute shuttle bus away, with buses leaving in the parking area every 10 minutes.
The shops and lively bars and restaurants of Les Deux Alpes are less than a 5 minute walk. There are public lifts that take you back up the slope to the apartment.
Parking is provided for 2 cars in private covered parking spaces (2 garages with remotes) reserved for the apartment, the exterior car park is on a first come first served basis.
Discounted rental equipment are available when booking. There is an Intersport within the apartment building, handy for not moving around with equipment! They do cheap packages for rental, either an 'adult' or child pack and you can choose whatever you want. If you need any help during your stay, Sarah Wilson or one of her team are in resort at all times to help and myself aswell via telephone and email. I live a couple of hours away so can come up if needed.

Chantal Donet was the chef in her own Italian/French restaurant in the resort for many years. She is supposed to be in retirement but as we can never truly retire from what we love she is willing to provide her catering skills for meals within the apartment. All your meal requirements and menu plans can be discussed with her according to needs. She can provide just one meal for a special evening or even cater for the whole week and is very flexible to accommodate any requests. The only thing is that menus obviously have to be planned and booked 15 days in advance of your holiday in order to provide time for ordering produce.

Lovely appartment that is well used. However, there was an issue with the sewage in the building when we were staying, which put a dampner on things. The smell was eminenting from the one bedroom that had no windows to open to air.

Our stay in the apartment was fantastic. The apartment had everything we needed and was very well kitted out. It was modern and fresh. The shuttle bus in and out of the village was brilliant, but unfortunately stops at teatime.
Vicci was always so helpful and attentive in her response to any of our queries. She gave good advice and tips. Her communication and support was excellent.

The apartment is great for large groups (we had 13) and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and a great communal area for sitting. We didn’t appear to have the correct bedding on arrival but we text the concierge and it was delivered later that evening whilst we were out eating. Remember to take toilet roll with you to resort as the shops are not near enough to the accommodation to just drop in and there was none in the apartment when we arrived, though there are toilets for guests on the first floor. There are plenty of shower facilities, however if you’re all showering at the same time after a day skiing not all of you will get hot water. Often 4 or 5 of us would have cold showers at the end of the day so try to space them out. Some of the bedrooms can be a little noisy with the sound of the elevator all day and night (or what sounds like an elevator) but we usually drowned that out with alcohol! The views from the apartment are beautiful, as it is located up the mountain. The walk to diable is longer than 6 mins, I’d say more like 10, maybe 15 if you have equipment with you which is via 340 steps on stairs. Great going down but hard work coming up, especially for older members and we happened to have someone recovering from cancer in our group. There is a bus service which is excellent in the resort, this operates daily from 07:45 - 18:45, after that you’re walking up. Overall the place is great just a few pointers for further guests to be aware of.

Myself and ten friends stayed in the property for a week skiing. It was exactly what we were looking for, with multiple separate rooms but a large communal for the evenings. The kitchen is really well stocked with kitchen utensils and it was easy to cater for eleven people at once. The apartment is in a fairly good location for evenings, with most bars, shops or restaurants being within a 10-20min walk. Unfortunately the lift beside the apartment was closed all week, so we got the bus down to/from the main lifts each day. We were pleasantly surpised how reliable the buses were and it was probably less stressful not having to worry about catching the last lifts to get home. A brilliant property for large groups at a very reasonable price :)

Que des choses mineures mais il y avait vraiment à redire, ( joint et panier lave vaisselle hs, portes qui coincent, odeur d'égout dans une chambre, vaisselle endommagée, porte de placard qui ne s'ouvre pas, etc....)
Malgré tout nous avons passé un très bon séjour, merci

Great appartment for family or group of friends
I've been in L2A several times and this apartment is really really nice and I can recommend it. Both Vicci and Sarah are really nice and what is more important contact with them was always super easy.
Few words about apartment.
It's not in the city center so to catch the main gondola or you take a bus (every 20 min) or you walk ca.15 minutes (doable).
Appartment is really well equiped. In kitchen you will find all kind of glasses, plates, pots etc.
You can as well find a high chair and a small bed for baby - BIG PLUS for that.
Apartment is quite specious, two bathrooms makes life easier and a big sitting area downstairs is something what we all appreciated.
In our case the only one small "imperfection" was the fact that when we entered the appartment it was not cleaned properly (I guess the previous team had no time to clean it properly).
Nevetheless, if you need something for group of few people its for sure worth to contact Vicci.

Great views of the alpes
The property has great views and is quite high up on the alpes. It’s a bit of a trek if you don’t have a car, but if you’re fit you can handle it and the resort bus is there if needed. The space itself is quite cosy like most alpine accomodation but clean and comfortable. Vicci and the team at Firstrax were very good to deal with and responsive.

L'appartamento è delizioso, ristrutturato da pochissimo. Si trova in una posizione molto bella con una vista spettacolare sulle montagne e sul paese (trovandosi nella parte più alta de Les 2 Alpes). Ha una zona giorno molto bella con tv e internet, phon in ciascuno dei due bagni. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile.

Perfect apartment for families
We were two families with children between the ages of 10-12 that spent one week in Les2Alpes. The apartment was perfect for 2 families, well equipped, good beds and cool design.
I can really recommend both the apartment and Vicci as a splendid landlord, she was very helpful prior to us coming to France.

Into the great unknown.
Ten of us, all family and friends have had the most fantastic weeks skiing in Les Deux Alpes.
Not an easy resort for our beginners. Blue much too difficult for second time skiers!! But some greens for them, though busy.
This apartment is well equipped, good beds, linen, great table and benches, amazing views, plenty of hot water.
A long way up hill with your bags, so take very little with you, if you're arriving at night. the bus stops at 7pm.
Good supermarkets.
Les Deux Alpes is a bit of a party town, so very noisy at night. Take ear plugs.

Beautifully renovated apartment
I recently spent a fantastic week at this property over Christmas. Vicci was incredibly helpful at providing information before we arrived, and even made sure we had the dishes etc we needed to cook Christmas dinner (and arranged champagne flutes for us). The kitchen, while compact, was equipped with everything we needed to cook a turkey etc, and all appliances were brand new. Our group was made up of 8 friends and we really appreciated the four bedrooms, and the large sofa and dinning room table which gave us enough space (especially as we were mostly out skiing during the days). The only downside of the apartment is that it is on the hill above the village. There is a regular free bus to take you into town which is great, but it stops at 7pm each night, meaning it was quite a trek back up the hill in the evening after a few drinks. It does mean that the view from the balcony is spectacular though! The apartment was also very clean and neat. I would gladly stay here again!
