About this house rental

Welcome to our lovely historic cottage, lovingly restored and updated with modern amenities. Just around the corner from Four Pillars Distillery, and 500 metres from Healesville main street, guests have easy access to numerous cafes, breweries, distilleries, cellar doors, restaurants and shops. The cottage features original polished floorboards, 3 large air conditioned bedrooms, one with ensuite, plus a deluxe country style kitchen, and a cosy living room with wood fired heater and air conditioning.

The cottage features free WiFi internet, large 4K smart TV, plus a sound bar providing surround sound. The bathrooms feature individually controlled gas hot water systems, as does the kitchen, which features a deluxe cooker with 3 separate ovens, as well as a fridge/freezer, microwave, and Nespresso machine. The kitchen will be stocked with cereals, bread, fruit, juice and milk - and firewood will be provided in the colder months. We can even have the fire going for you when you arrive if you request. In the yard you will find a selection of herbs in the garden beds, as well as apple, lemon, and lime trees. Guests are welcome to help themselves to anything that is ready to eat.

We live nearby, and are very happy to provide recommendations of things to do, and can even offer private driven tours of the valley.

Friendly accomodating property owner let us know when we could arrive and had heating activated and pantry and cold goods well stocked for our convenience. The bedroom and bathroom complete with quality bedding and towels and products. Very comfortable and pleasurable stay.

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our stay here at Healesville Cottage. Mike had already lit the fire for us so the cottage was beautiful and warm upon arrival (it did not go out for our entire stay). The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we possibly needed for the weekend. We greatly appreciated the milk, butter, OJ etc in the fridge as well as the beautiful bread on the table. The coffee machine was fantastic & the kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated & beds very comfortable! Lovely local amenities in the bathroom another nice touch. It was such an easy walk into town and back and even easier to Four Pillars! From the get go Mike’s communication was amazing - extremely polite, informative & accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here, can’t wait to rebook with family.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay and so excited how much love and care has been put into this home. The beds were comfortable and all the little things you could want for a weekend stay. Mike is a fantastic and accommodating host. We will definitely be back.

The cottage was the perfect location for our annual girls weekend. Short walks to city, distillery or the Innocent Bystander. Our host was always prompt, friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was equipped with everything you would need including some lovely touches like bread, milk and fruit. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Healesville stay.

We loved our stay in this lovely little cottage. Perfect for our girls weekend away and central to everything Healesville has to offer. All the amenities you need, with super comfy beds and a toasty fire burning in the living room. Host Mike was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay again!

We were a group of 4, in the region for a wedding. The location was fabulous, being a short walk to some attractions, and a short drive into town. The accommodation was very well appointed throughout, and met all of our needs perfectly. Our wonderful host even thought to turn on the lights, and have music playing from the Bluetooth speakers, for our late arrival, which we all found a lovely, warm touch. The accommodation surpassed our expectations,and I'd highly recommend the property and the host, Mike.

We were a party of plus 60s’ and 2 plus 30’s in age, there for a catch up with aunt from the UK . An absolute gem of a place to stay. So very comfortable to have a family catch up after 3 long years due to Covid and it’s inherent travel restrictions. Lovely welcome provisions upon arrival. The place was superbly clean with the easiest check in provided by the host Mike. I can throughly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Healesville Cottage. Mike asked us if we'd like to check in early which was a nice touch and checked if we needed anything and made the check in process clear and easy. The kitchen was well equipped and the Weber BabyQ gas BBQ on the deck was an unexpected surprise. Would recommend for sure.

The property itself we felt was even better from the photos, the area was simply gorgeous, Mike the most lovely and welcoming host, everything. Would love to stay again! Really gorgeous cottage that manages to be quaint and tasteful and practical and easy to live in at the same time. This is pretty rare! A ten minute walk to the Healesville hotel and around 3-4 to the Four Pillars distillery so very close to town. Mike is very friendly and very easy to deal with. Many thanks!
