Our stay was absolutely perfect! The owner was easy to contact and extremely helpful! We stayed in suite one and it was perfect for my family! Very clean!
They provided all beach accessories and water toys!! We used the kayaks in stump pass which was a short distance from the house! Super convenient! Chairs, umbrellas, life jackets... they have it all!
Such a beautiful place to make memories! Will hopefully return in the future!

We were looking for a beach vacation and we wanted to avoid the wild spring breakers! We were within walking distance and avoided the long car line to get into stump pass park. Rangers said that cars waited over an hour all day long to get in and we walked or biked in every time with no wait! The loacation is perfect! We looked for sea shells all day! We have never seen so many shells! Everything was great. The hosts have a very nice set up!

Our family stayed for 3 nights and never ran out of things to do. The kids walked to the beach 3-5 times each day and we had endless fun. I thought the kayak cart was going to be difficult to pull two kayaks, but once we found out how to properly balance the weight of the kayaks on top of the axles it was very easy to maneuver and we gladly went to the kayak launch multiple times. Plenty of amenities offered and looking to go back again next year.

The property was great for us. We weren't planning to spend much time there, so we were looking for amenities and location, and this property was perfect. It was just right for a family with a double on-bottom bunk bed, pull-out couch, and a queen bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed gear and ready for quick meals. The storage was great, and parking was easy. We loved having all our beach accessories available without having to pack all the extras.

My 44 year old son rented this place for himself, sons 20 and 17. 2 of my Granddaughters 17 and 14. Myself Grandma. I was never able to stay with them! Not on the beach, no pool. Kayak and SUP are nearly impossible to get to stump pass beach. 1 bathroom for 7 people as advertised. Really? If you want to sit outside, you will look at another building! Smokers have to go to the street. I have lived in Englewood for 10 years now. I don’t have a pool. 5 miles from beach. Thought it might be nice to be staying at beach which was not the case. Live and learn. Cost was ridiculous. It might be suitable for a couple with you young children.

We chose to come to the beach after a hectic 6 days at Disney world and 2 days at Universal Studios. We wanted to be able to unwind and relax after many days of walking and the Florida humidity. Upon arrival we found the accommodations were to par with what we paid. One negative is the shared laundry space for three units. People would leave their items in the washer or dryer for hours making it hard to do laundry. The agents were able to help with the first situation but the night before we had to leave at 6 am we ran into this again and I had to move the laundry from the dryer to put mine in. I was extremely anxious about moving someone else’s items but we had to be up and moving very early. Also the other negative is when there is a heavy downpour, areas near the laundry room and the laundry room itself flood. Also the entry to suites one and two also fill with a good amount of water on a heavy downpour as well.

Love the place overall, It was clean, plenty of room for our family, enjoyed the kayak, dever pool, and pirate playground at the beach. Always love the englewood beach area and Stump pass. The private outdoor area had a walkway through it to the laundry and bike/beach stuff, so it wasnt quite as private as i would have liked, and the security light that is always on at night is very bright and kills the night ambiance in the private area. Also shines brightly into the bedrooms which we solved by hanging towells over the curtains, but some blackout curtains or better yet a light that came on later, say midnight, so you could enjoy the evening without the spotlight on you, would be nice. Other than those 2 small(ish) things our stay was wonderful, everything was very clean and nice and everything worked well. The outdoor showers were a favorite among my boys and myself! I would recommend to friends and family. I do wish they had a few kids bikes, we only saw lots of adult bikes. The indoor shower was strange to operate, you have to pull down on the bottom part of the bathtub spout, where the water pours out. Ive never seen that before, but the hosts responded quick to let us know how to operate it! Loved the place and would definately stay again.

Clean, well stocked from kitchen items to beach essentials.! Only, confusing thing was trying to locate kayak access. Everyone friendly in are. Easy transportation to town - had transportation pick up in front of property

It was clean and offered a lot of amenities from kayaks and bicycles to beach chairs, toys and wagons to take it with. It was to small for the 6 people it said it could accommodate and not on the beach like it stayed. Overall was nice and would’ve been better suited for 4 people.

The condo was really nice and clean and the neighborhood was peaceful. The State Park was just a quick walk away and the local grocery was just a 5 minute drive. They had all the "Toys" you need to spend a day at the beach. I would definitely recommend this to friends

Summer Getaway
Great location with a neighborhood feel. The area is very relaxing and not too busy. Enjoyed many local eateries (Texas Best Barbecue was AMAZING) and attractions. Stump Pass Beach was amazing and never crowded. If you’re looking to stay in this area I would definitely recommend this rental.

Read the description carefully.
This is a great property as long as you know what you’ve accepted, just read each description carefully. The beach accessories are invaluable and in great condition. There is no dedicated path to the beach. It’s about an 8 minute walk into the state park and you can access the beach from there for a small fee each day. The kayaks and paddle boards are amazing but someone has to lift them on to the dolly and drag them to the state park/beach, this takes reasonable strength, so be aware. Up to 7 people can stay in this unit with 1 toilet. (our group only had 4) There is no air conditioning vent or exhaust fan in the small bathroom. There is a window if you choose to open it and let in the hot Florida air. There is no dishwasher in the unit. We did not go to the community pool in the next city, we decided it wasn’t worth the drive and paying to visit. Overall we had a good stay and Manasota Key is wonderful. This is not necessarily a negative review, it’s just easy to see the beautiful pictures and assume it’s going to be amazing. In most ways it was, but in other ways it was a lot of long hot walking and hauling all that stuff back and forth. Not ungrateful, just sharing reality.

What a wonderful & Quaint place!! Pete was amazing to us and went above and beyond!
Everything was just wonderful! It was decorated very nicely with the beach vibe. All kitchen items & ppliances were newer. Laundry room was definitely helpful as well!! Loved our outdoor space and grill! The outdoor showers were so neat and we all used them frequently!! The bikes, beach toys, chairs and all SUPs/Kayaks were so fun! Thank you for a memorable stay and great hospitality!

Vacation 20022
Loved the proximity to the beach and the beach accessories. I would have liked to have seen more microwave type container for cooking foods. My biggest complaint was the micro fiber sheets. They personally made our family sweat more .

Great beach location!
We had a great time. We really appreciated the bikes and all the accessories to take to the beach. We used one of your beach wagons and walked all our stuff down to the beach.

Great area/ nice condo
Everything was exactly as described. Super clean and easy access to everything. Comfy beds! Manasota Key is a nice area that not a lot of people (outside of Florida) have heard of. We enjoyed the beach gear and kayaks. Only complaint is the Wi-Fi It was hard to get connected and stay connected so if you are looking to get any work done you may be frustrated. Even looking for local info on the internet was frustrating. But really you should spend your time soaking up the sun and enjoying the beach so Wi-Fi should be just a minor inconvenience.

Awesome experience!
Great place for a family. Really enjoyed the outdoor showers, sand toys, beach supplies, shell washing station, and short walk to the beach. Free laundry! Super clean and friendly people on the island. The only negative review is that the wi-fi did not work most of the time in unit 1.

Wonderful experience.
The property was nicely landscaped, and well-maintained. Our unit was clean and tastefully furnished. The other guests were friendly, and the resort was quiet overnight. We found the guest laundry to be convenient and reliable. The deeded beach access was sufficiently nearby for our needs, and this section of the island seemed quieter with less traffic.

Seashells Are Abundant!
We really enjoyed our time at Manasota Key and would definitely stay at this property again. We had everything we needed for the beach including beach towels, cart/wagon, chairs and umbrellas! We loved the bikes and although we rode the same three bikes all week they all seemed to be in good condition. The water was a little cold so we only kayaked on the last day but the process of walking the kayaks down to the state park was very easy, of course my husband did most of the work ;). Unit though small was extremely clean! We hope to go back again sometime with the whole family and stay in the larger unit of this property.

Relaxing Weekend
Peter was very accommodating when we had a last minute addition to our party. His responses were almost immediate.
Very clean 2 bedroom unit. Everything is on site for your use. Loved the outdoor showers.
I was looking for a relaxing weekend away from hustle and bustle of daily life. It did not disappoint.

Nice Quiet 2 bedroom unit
Very easy process from booking to checkout with great communication. We appreciated the pre-trip updates on the Red Tide and Tropical Storm Fred. House had everything we needed from kitchen tools to the beach supplies on a quiet street. Only thing I missed would be a window with a view. We kept all the blinds closed because you have people and/or a cement wall within a foot or two on all three sides. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt we paid a fair price. Thank you!

Exceeded Vacation Expectations!!!
This place was very clean, well decorated and comfortable! Just enough space for our family of 4. Spacious rooms and well stocked kitchen! The amenities exceeded our expectations! We used them all more than once! From the bikes, beach equipment to our very favorite kayaks and paddle boards, we were relaxed with knowing we could do what we wanted and not have to be on a rental schedule! This place has it all! Close proximity to the beach with a very short walk and right next to Lemon Bay! You can really feel the welcome from the owners! Thank you for the special gift upon arrival! It’s the details and the details are excellent at this vacation rental!

Nice location and place to stay!
Very nice owners. Very beautiful suite. Just wished it was on the beach side but we knew it wasn’t when we rented it. Would rent from owners again on the beach side.

First family vacation in 8 years!
This property had all of the amenities that we needed for a great trip! The suite itself was a little small for all of us, but we had a suspicion that would happen. Sitting out on our little semi- private back patio at night with the lights or having our coffee in the morning was where we spent alot of family time. We ran into the owner of the property a few times and he was incredibly nice and helpful! Very beautiful property and reccomend it!

Fam stay
The property was great!! We felt safe in the area we were in!! Loved walking to the beach!! Be careful for the shells (they’ll shred your arches if you’re barefoot). The couch is a pullout so it’s another bed option if necessary!! Def recommend for families!!

Cute little property
Our unit was extremely clean which we so appreciated! Loved having the laundry on site for free. Something to note it’s on property and shared between all the units so that is something to plan around. We really appreciated the use of the toys and provided wagons, chairs and umbrellas. This beach is beautiful and so quiet! The owner we met briefly and was very nice and welcoming! They were quick to respond to our questions during the stay. A couple things to note that I should have read more clearly on my end. The unit is not on the beach. It also does NOT have a pool. When looking at the amenities listed it has both which can cause some confusion unless you read the description in detail. The pool they are referencing is not near the property but rather a public community pool that you would pay an entrance fee for. The internet was very slow and we both had trouble working while on our stay. The back yard space is very cute but not very private. You will have other guests walking in and out of your dining space outdoors to gather things from the shared shed or do laundry. Not sure how this could be corrected though given the layout. The owners have made it very cute and cozy with lights and lounge chairs. The photos also show a really cool room with tables and a TV. This is the room referenced in the description as available for booking at $200 a day for private events and not something available for guests to use during your stay. The house was quiet and my kids really enjoyed the shell cleaning station and the outdoor showers. Overall we were pleased with our stay and would recommend. Thank you!!
