About this apartment rental
Welcome to Our Treehouse by the Lake! A fully remodeled 1908 beauty, it boasts a cook's dream kitchen of marble countertops, gas range, and stainless appliances. Massive flat screens on either side of the standalone gas fireplace in the open floorpan make for excellent game day entertainment.
An enviable master suite with direct access to a balcony it shares with the second full bedroom offers incredible water views, and a third loft bedroom is easily configured into a kids room, third adult room, or office. It includes two outdoor private covered decks (one shared by two bedrooms and one just off the main floor) nestled amongst the trees and above the water across from University of Washington! This is Unit 2, the lower home of a 2-unit condo.
With a walkscore of 75 and the lowest crime rating from walkscore, this residential area is close to University of Washington and the great shops and restaurants that surround the campus. This is an amazing 1908 house that has been gutted and remodeled as two apartments atop one another. This unit is nearly 1800 square feet and boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an irreplaceable view of Seattle's Portage Bay (between Lake Union and Lake Washington). This is the lower unit, and it is completely remodeled and furnished specifically for Vrbo use! This apartment is filled with modern art and furniture, brand new pillowtop mattresses, soft sheets and towels, and toiletries – the works!
Here are all the details:
On the entry floor, you will find a wonderful gathering space for your friends and family, including essentially a great room with kitchen, dining space, and living room all surrounding a marble framed see-thru fireplace with two (!) 55 inch 4K television screens on each side of the wall above it, including wall HDMI inputs for all your tech needs and desires. The entry floor also provides two doors of access to a covered deck overlooking the water with a view of University of Washington’s Husky Stadium (Go Dawgs!).
On the lower floor, there are two bedrooms with one split king bed and one queen size bed. The bedrooms are connected by a covered deck. The master bedroom has a private ensuite with double sinks, soaking tub, and a huge closet!
You will find the washer and dryer on this floor as well- perfect for those longer stays or visits that include kids. Detergent is provided.
The unit is great for small groups looking for a vacation place or heading to a UW game – you can walk to Husky Stadium at just over a mile through beautiful urban bridges/views.
Also great for the working traveler who needs strong, high speed Wi-Fi but wants to work in a beautiful space. Or, bring the whole family - we love that too! We even have a pack and play stored away for the little ones in your group.
The kitchen is loaded with all the equipment you’ll need to enjoy a delicious meal and a glass of wine. Take advantage of the new appliances, quartz waterfall countertop, and the open feeling of the space (all with views)!

The home was nicely furnished and furniture was updated. The house was located in a nice area and quite neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay here again.

Our two families went to Seattle to visit University of Washington. The location is close to the campus. The amenities (kitchen, bath, TVs) are very modern and the living space is comfortable for the 7 of us. The host was very responsive to our questions. The minor drawback is that getting in and out of the parking spaces is a bit tricky.
