Guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the beautiful and spacious home with great amenities and helpful contacts. The location provided easy access to nearby attractions and entertainment. Comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen made the experience even better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great and the home is beautiful and spacious (for two). We loved the upper balcony! Bedrooms to the back made the street noise on the weekends a non-issue. If I could make one change, it would be to have key code access rather than having to meet up with the owner for a key. Phone communication can be tricky and we waited more than an hour and a half for access. Not the end of the world, but avoidable with key code access :-). We would absolutely stay here again. Beds were comfortable, too.

My family and I (4 of us) really enjoyed this home. It was very clean and plenty of room. All the amenities to eat at home or eat out. The on-site contact, Abel, was very helpful and attentive to some minor issues we encountered. My only suggestion is if they can have a king size bed to the master bedroom upstairs . We hope to return next year. The owner was very helpful when it was close to our arrival date. I highly recommend this rental.

Beauty but busy
The house in Barra was all we needed and more. It is a very busy neighborhood but fun and entertaining to enjoy from the upper outside deck. You are in the middle of everything and access to most things are right around the corner. Parking, if you rent or have a car, is very limited but no matter where we ended up parking walking we could walk and the car was safe. Best beach to swim that we found was Boca de La Iguanas. Captain Cocoa took us fishing from the docks on the Malecon - great panda and beautiful day. It’s worth the drive from PV. Manzanillo airport is much closer, and bigger shopping available there for groceries and such. Covid testing with Dr. Benni’s kab in Maleque was easy and efficient. Cost was around $24.00/each.

Great Location in the Heart of Barra
This is a beautiful accomadation, exactly as it appears on the listing. We were very pleasantly surprised to find out that we would have access to the roof-top pool. Unfortunately we had to cut our vacation short due to the virus. We will just have to return!!

Fun place to visit
Kane’s place is in the heart of Barra de Navidad where there is always something going on. The house is clean and well stocked. We found at night we could shut up the bedroom turn the fan up on the a/c and escape the noise of the town. During the day, there is pretty much no escape, it was noisy. We enjoyed the town immensely. There was always something going on, sunset drinks, dinner out, live music and it was a short walk to go anywhere in town.

Great place to stay...exactly as pictured and described
Great location on a side street in Barra de Navidad. Friendly, helpful, nice hosts. The casa is exactly as described and pictured. Wonderful sitting room upstairs overlooking the street, one bed and bath down and one bed and bath up. Very clean and cozy. We loved the week we spent there. Can be a bit noisy with loud music etc at times but shutting the door and turning on the fan drown out the noise if that concerns you. Shopping, restaurants and great place to get a massage and facial all close by. Thanks Able and Kane!

Very nice property, location is great!
We stayed at the house for two weeks. It was nice to see that there was drinking water and basic supplies for cleaning and cooking like salt and pepper. Although with great restaurants everywhere, we didn’t cook once. We spent lots of time on the covered patio upstairs. There were just two of us but the accommodations could easily be share by four, and six in a pinch if you didn’t mind sleeping on the wide couch. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

ANOTHER GREAT STAY
Another yearly visit to Barra and stayed at Casa Centro again. No problems whatsoever: from making the booking, to getting from the airport and accessing the house, to having a good time in the town & surrounding area, to sadly checking out and to getting our damage deposit refunded quickly....great. The unit was as good as new and we found everything as we expected. Comfortable & in a great location. Also, Kane and his manager Abel are easy to deal with. Looking forward to returning.

a gem
This lovely little house has everything you need close by. It is centrally located, but the design allows for privacy and quiet nights on good beds. Very clean, the host is charming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We were only two people, but two couples would do well here too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Centro in the heart of Barra de Navidad. We were picked up by Abel at the airport who is an easy going and helpful manager and he gave us a full tour of the property. The Casa itself was very clean and comfortable with all amenities neatly provided and stowed. We spent a lot of our time in the upper patio/deck which is naturally cool and comfortable. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and the lower living room proved useful. There are many restaurants right outside the door and the malacon is a short walk away. The town is user friendly and there are ample services, excellent sea food and sandy beaches etc. In short, it was a very relaxing, safe and comfortable Casa and climate a for a family stay.

Casa Centro Experience Excellent
Our time at this property was great. A well built, well kept, bright, modern accommodation with everything we needed. In the centre of Barra, close to everything & yet quiet enough at night, including the appliances. Met a lot of people while sitting on the front porch. Amazing. Also, Abel was a great help. Had absolutely no problem booking with Kane through VRBO & received our damage deposit refund promptly. Would like to stay here again when we return to this entertaining town. Thank you.

Our stay at Casa Centro for the month of January 2017
This was our first visit to Barra and can't say enough about the adventurous, fun, interesting, relaxing, and comfortable trip we had for our monthly stay at Casa Centro. From our initial contact with Kane, (the owner) he was quite personable and very helpful in answering any questions that we had about the house and its location in Barra. Kane provided us with information about everything from where his favorite restaurants are to his personal contacts for interests that you may have during your visit. (ie..taking yoga classes, doctors and pharmacies, snorkeling and surfing, best places to see sunsets etc..) I recommend getting in touch with Edgard at the Sands Hotel (315-104-1330) for any kinds of touring or play activities. We nicknamed him the Ductor of fun!
Casa Centro was an excellent choice for its comfort/relaxation, location (center of town), house accessories and amenities, good air circulation with fans and option for a/c, and access to outdoor eating. The house is two years old as compared to other older rentals and hotels in Barra.
We are glad that we found Barra de Navidad and believe we found our happy annual
getaway place.
In looking for a place to stay in this small happy Mexican town and to experience being immersed in the culture, Casa Centro would be an excellent and wise choice.
Thank you Kane!!!

Great house!
We loved our stay in Barra. This house was in a great location...right in town and easy to walk everywhere. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio sipping our margaritas from across the street. The house was really charming, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The manager, Abel, met us on our first day and went over everything in the house, and he was available by phone if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this house. I know we would love to stay here again!

A Wonderful House in the Heart of Barra
We were in Barra de Navidad for my boyfriend's son's wedding at the beginning of March. Most of the guests chose to stay at the resort across the lagoon but we were so glad we rented Casa Centro. From the time that Abel, the caretaker, met us on the Wednesday afternoon until we left the following week, everything was perfect. Beautifully appointed, clean, new - we couldn't have asked for a nicer house. The nephews, who were also there for the wedding, loved looking at the way the house was built (they're builders) and finished. My personal favorite was sitting on the upper deck in the morning with my coffee and a book. It was a little noisy but that's Mexico - it's ALL noisy and it was quiet in the bedrooms that were located in the back and well away from the street. The only question I had (and told Abel he should let people know) is what the heck do you do with your trash? (Ok you bag it and leave it on the street but it was my first trip to Mexico so it was all new to me).
Tips for future visitors: The best margaritas were at Lucy's. Turn right out the front door, right at the intersection and go about two blocks - Lucy's is on your right. She's open in the evenings. We also taxi'd to Melaque where the beach is a bit nicer - $3.00 US each way - great bargain.

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I stayed in at this place in mid November. It was by far above and beyond our expectations. The house is amazing. Where to start: beautiful new kitchen, 2 spacious private bedrooms with bathrooms, and an awesome private deck to sit back and enjoy a few cervezas.
Just a block in each direction to the beach and the lagoon. Perfect location right in the heart of Barra. Owner was great to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thanks again!

The Best of the Best in a cool historic place, central to everything
I stayed at Casa Cenrto for 5 day to short. What a special modern sweet spot in the very cool town of Barre de Navidad. Casa Centro is so charming with all the modern conveniences with a bright and cheery charm. It is central to everything. No need for a car unless you want to explore. Barre is a traditional Mexican town. When I was there, there was a mole festival. After tooling around, it is nice to come home to a beautiful Casa, with air conditioning, and a hip comfortable home. If you are hungry, walk across the street to Pipi's for a killer burrito. Best place ever. A must stay!!!!!

Awesome Spot
Love Casa Centro!!!! Wow, what a beautiful house in such a special town. So much to see and do and Casa Centro is so perfect; located in the center of town. Not only is it well equipped with all the comforts of home, it is so beautifully decorated but the best part is that you can walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and sunsets. Love, Love... Can't wait to come back and cook in that insane kitchen.
