What a gem of a property! We loved our stay in this apartment. We were two families with teenage children. The beds were so comfy, loved having the two bathrooms, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The property was a short walk to the ski fields and the pub. The lounge room was a great area to retire with a glass of wine and enjoy the company of friends and family. The huge TV was also great. Linda was also very responsive to our enquires. We hope to come back and enjoy this property again! Thanks for having us Linda.

For a family with small children the walk up the hill at the end of the day is a challenge, but the cosy, well appointed apartment was worth it.

The apartment was located in an amazing location with commanding views of front valley and the mountains. Very peaceful location. Ski straight from the front door to the village eight chairlift! Excellent heating and unlimited hot water. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. The apartment is a lot larger than the photos appear. We Watched the fireworks from the comfort of the lounge room. Excellent attentive host who makes herself available for all the little queries and questions you may have. Plenty of room for the larger family.
To save ski tube costs for the larger family group- my husband dropped us all off with our luggage at the station in Perisher itself- there is 10 minute parking there and it’s right at the Overlander on snow accomodation transfer so was very convenient- then my husband drove back to Bullocks flats to park the car and we only had the cost of his ski tube return ticket to Perisher. By the time he arrived on the ski tube we had our luggage organised and our tickets for the a overlander purchased. Friendly helpful staff at Perisher. Staying on snow was really nice- no more guessing what conditions on the snow are like.. you just look out the window. We normally stay in Jindabyne and fight the peak hour traffic- it was so nice to have a relaxing start to the day and still be the first on the snow.

Way exceeded our expectations. The walk up the hill at the end of the day is challenging though 😂

Absolutely terrible !!! Chez-Jean Perisher.
Advertised as 'newly renovated luxury apartment' is both deceptive and misleading. After much frustration it seems we only have 'stayz reviews' to encourage homeowners truth and remedy. During our 'Perisher July 2023' stay we encountered so many problems with this accommodation. The property owner Linda Slobom is well aware of her apartments structural and maintenance issues, but due to her nondisclosure our snow vacation was ruined by our findings. Our valuable time was spent dealing with both maintenance and structural issues that kept revealing themselves to us. Located in an old blond brick building, the apartments roof structure consistently omits ghastly heavy creaking noises that caused us an entire week of sleep deprivation. The excessive noise disrupts the main bedroom, the hallway and bunk room, and far outweighs what is deemed tolerable. In the queen bedroom dampness was penetrating through the external wall onto the mattress, further inspection revealed a disgraceful mess of mould and grime. To compound moisture issues the windows are completely siliconed closed and labelled DO NOT OPEN. With all bedrooms off limits we were confined to the living room. The hallway toilet was unusable, the heater was not working, and due to faulty locks the front balcony and rear BBQ areas were inaccessible. To date Linda has begrudgingly reimbursed 46% of our accommodation. In the hope to limit suffering! Kindly.

First time at the snow for the whole family and loved being so close to the ski fields!

Beautifully renovated apartment. Facilities were excellent. The walk to the ski lift was a little bit further than I expected but ok. Highly recommend this apartment. The ski tube and over snow transport is too expensive for check in and check out but that is not the fault of the apartment owners. Thredbo you can drive to your door. Falls creek the bus is reasonably priced and Japan it is a couple of dollars per person. For it to cost over $400 to catch the ski tube and over snow to get to Perisher for 4 people is too expensive. Perhaps the unit owners need to lobby Perisher to improve parking options at their apartments.
