Spacious, centrally located house with great views from inside and outside. Good plan of two bedrooms + bathroom/toilet upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of room for a large group and multiple areas inside and outside to enjoy. Loved our stay! Thanks Bev & Dean.

The location was good and the views from the balcony was great. I felt the property wasn't as clean as I expected and having the shower over the bath could be a problem for older folks. The prflyscreen in the upstairs bathroom appears to have fallen out onto the roof, below making it awkward to have the window open.
On the plus side, there was plenty of crockery, glasses, dishes etc. available.
I look forward to seeing the property once all the alterations have been completed.

We enjoyed staying at the house, and especially enjoyed the views from the deck! Was great being able to take our dogs too. It's not the most modern or luxurious house, but it is spacious, and had everything we needed.

We did find the locality and overall layout of this property suitable for us, however we found the property to be poorly maintained, very cluttered and shabby inside ,messy cupboards, rips and stains in carpet,it was dirty, and the lawn hadn’t been mown, was knee high.Bedside lamps didn’t work in the main bedroom.
We also hadn’t been told towels weren’t supplied, the owner did supply these when we contacted her.
We did enjoy the lovely upstairs balcony with sea views.

Nice, relaxing getaway
3 generations of family members stayed in this property, and we all enjoyed ourselves.
The deck is lovely, we spent a long time out there and got a great view of an electrical storm one night.
Would stay again, thanks Bev.

Overall enjoyable
Great location with sea views, wide upstairs verandah and breezes through kitchen window. Air con helped in the day and evening heat. Plenty of room for three families. Some unhappy with lumpy or overly soft mattresses. Smoke alarm in locked shed kept sounding when cooking on barbecue. Stayz photos showed towels on beds but they were not provided. Bathrooms, parts of kitchen and fridge not cleaned well. Cooler in upstairs bedroom not working.

From the moment we pulled up we were delighted with the location and appeal of the house.
We couldn’t have been happier with the house. We had 2 families and the upstairs/ downstairs zones were perfect for that. The balcony is definitely the winner of the house- with beautiful views and another space to relax. The big bag yard - which is fully fenced - saw many cricket matches and with the undercover area was perfect for dogs. We loved our 7 nights here and would definitely recommend it. Amy

Luck was on our side when the Victorian restrictions was lifted 2 days before our trip. This property was just what we needed to get away from the stresses of the city. Great location situated just a short 2 min drive from the main street and with ocean views with a sunset that hangs around for hours! Sitting out on the new deck having a few drinks with friends was a perfect way to end each day. heaps of room for 6 adults with the open plan living area up stairs and spacious bedrooms for all. The property was very clean and well kept for its age and offered everything we could need for a weekend away. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Another lovely stay
We were so pleased to be able to return to this property again, especially since the restrictions on travel had only recently been listed. The place was warm (it's Winter!) and comfortable, and the views can't be beaten.
We were especially appreciative of all the extra liquid handsoap and surface disinfectants provided, which was very reassuring as this was the first place we stayed in as restrictions began to ease during the coronavirus pandemic. It was easy for us to stay clean and healthy.

Line dancing weekend
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend of line dancing. House was great, good location, enough bedrooms so we all had our own space. Fantastic views and plenty of crockery, cutlery etc, beds very comfy. Would definitely recommend.

no internet ran out of toilet paper and dish-washing liquid...
On reading the comments in the feedback book most of the issues I want to complain about have already been raised by previous guests, and their complaints were rationalised or just ignored
We stayed for 8 nights but ran out of toilet paper on the second day the dish-washing liquid lasted three days... both of these issues have been raised in the past...
there is no interned also raised in the past.. the owner said nbn is not available so we checked this and found the NBN has been available for some time...
The attitude of the owner is one of extreme penny pinching when I pay thousands of dollars for 8 nights accommodation i don't expect to have to buy toilet paper... the general cleanliness of the place was poor...
We found mould on the shower curtain up stairs and in the down stairs shower on the shower-matt. the oven had ashes in the bottom, the griller had a cover but underneath the cover it was greasy it had been used and not cleaned.
beside the fridge was dirty, all the carpets need replacing.
From the feedback book the owner expects the guests to clean but there are no utensils to clean the oven for example
Also it seems that no one check properly to see if the place is actually clean things are missing all over the house like screws in the upstairs bathroom shower rail or the cabinet is missing a pin from the shelf so when you put anything on it the shelf tilts spilling what ever you have put on it....
The general feel of the place is shabby...
There are so many things wrong i will just stop here.
The owner says we stained a lounge and it will need to be professionally cleaned. please contact me regarding this and please look to see is they say something similar for every customer....
We are very unhappy
I have never stayed in a place that is so bad
