About this apartment rental
Welcome to Oleander Place from Rent On Padre! The owners like to call it "The Palace at Sunriseville" This is a gorgeous three bedroom / two bathroom condo located just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico. This condo sleeps 8. Oleander Place #203 has lots of custom details. When you walk in you will see the dramatic vaulted ceiling in the great room with a custom mural of a beach scene.
Please note, this condo does not allow Spring Break Students. During the month of March through Easter, this condo is a family only rental. Young groups will not be allowed to rent here.
This condo is pretty amazing. You enter it on the second of the building. On the main level you will see the amazing deluxe gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen and the living room are open concept, so you will have lots of space. There is a full size bathroom with an oversized shower. On this floor you will also find 2 bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other has 2 full size beds. The sofa is also a sleeper sofa.
Walk up the stairs to the master suite. This bedroom has its own bathroom with a double whirlpool tub. You also have a limited view of the Gulf of Mexico from the private master deck. If you are up early enough, you might even catch a glimpse of the sunrise from up here.
Nearby activities include: Golf, Water Park (seasonal), Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Movie Theater, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

Great condo. Enjoyed the pool and everything about this unit. Only issue was the shower upstairs did not work and there was a hot water problem with the downstairs shower. It would be nice if checkout was a bit later. 10 am checkout is rough.

By far the best spot we have stayed at. We go to SPI every year and this has topped the list. The beach was a very short walk. Clean home. Plenty of space for everyone in the family. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. And the owner Melissa was awesome! She helped us as soon as we got there. We felt very welcomed. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you to the ladies that helped at Rent On Padre. 10 out of 10 We recommend!!!

We loved this property. It was close to the beach and very quiet. We wish there would have been some beach chairs but we still enjoyed the beach. Several of the outlets in the kitchen did not work as well as the outlet by the sink in the master bath. These were just small inconveniences and were easily overcome.
Ala in all it was a fantastic place and I would recommend it to anyone. I appreciate all of us being able to stay and enjoy a great place:

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very spacious and plenty of room for 6 people. There were a couple broken items when we arrived but the rental company responded when told about them. They fixed them the same day.We would rent this place again.

Love it! Perfect for 8 people. Only issues we had were the downstairs toilet not working properly. Called and left a message but, never heard back. But, it didn't stop us! A short walk to a beautiful beach and close to most attractions! Definitely will be back to Padre!!

My family and I loved this home. There were just a couple of things needing attention like the master toilet seat needs replacing and the master patio had lots of bird poop which could of been cleaned before arrival. Other than that, beds were comfy and kitchen had lots of items to accommodate us.

Great space. Incredibly roomy 3 bedroom condo located just a few minutes from beach. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils needed for an extended stay as well as sufficient linens. Would have liked the overall counters and floors to be thoroughly cleaned as I had to purchase mop and floor cleaner due to visible stains on floor. Overall would stay again.

The house was spacious and clean, had all the amenities plus more. Only downfall was that the listing said there was a sleeper sofa yet there was not one. Couches in living room need to be updated a bit as well. Other than that, would book again!

The location and layout of this condo is great for a family, but they definitely skimp on amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, bath mats, etc), especially considering the extra paperwork and deposit that is required to stay here.

This was the first time we've taken the kiddos with us on vacation and the first time we visited SPI. We are a family of 8 and it fit us all appropriately and we had a lot of fun. It's hard to find things that all the kids can agree to do and enjoy because of the age ranges and they all liked staying there.

Pros:Great layout with rooms and amenities for family. Toys, books, and games for friend’s family. Very good price for what is offered. Pool was nice temp. Plenty of cook ware. Cons:Ice maker didn’t work. looks like liner needs to be redone, bottom looked like it had sand or dirt on bottom but was just the stuff below the liner. Roku remote didn’t work. Wet bathroom mats were in the drier when we firsts dgot there and only one load of laundry detergent was provided. With beach trips have to wash & dry towels multiple times.

Kids could not fly in and beaches were cold. No “Christmas” activities and we both got sick (Stacey got RSV) so we left a day early. Had the kids been there it would have been, better. Praying for better next year, but Stacey is fighting cancer, so we will see. Not what we were planning, but ultimately it is God’s plan anyway.
On side note heater took 2 days to get to 70 degrees and there were other minor issues as well. All fixable. Best wishes and

This unit is very homey and spacious - clean, very well equipped, comfortable. The pool was nice for relaxing. Location is perfect for beach days & the street has extra parking available. We were able to walk to local shops and the grocery store. Communication from Rent on Padre was A+!*The showers were tricky - it was disclosed in an email after renting but it would be great if they were replaced since kids and adults were having trouble starting the shower. Not a dealbreaker at all once you ge the hang of it, so other than that, I would definitely rent again!

We stayed for 5 days at this cute condo near the beach. We would definitely recommend it. My kids loved it. The beds were all comfy and clean. My inner ocd just had a few little things. But overall I would stay there again.

Condo is very nice and has lots of room. Good easy access to the beach. The only thing that kept this from being 5 star was that there are a lot of rules for staying at this condo so it wasn’t as welcoming and friendly as some other places we have stayed at South Padre.
