Great location on lake and very nice property. Deck off back of the house is fantastic. Would certainly come back again.

Addressed concerns with owner and she assured me of a refund through Evolve.

Great beach and comfortable property. Enjoy the sunrise and starry nights on the deck overlooking the lake.

Perfect home for a beach vacation! Umbrella, float mats, kayak, etc provided. Utensils, pots, pans, crockpot-all we needed in the kitchen, with plenty of dishes to use. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, towels provided. The patio is as big as it looks in the picture with plenty of outdoor chairs. Bonus is the outdoor shower to wash sand off. Overall a fun place to be with family, we will definitely go back

Quick Getaway
House was perfect. Only complaint is that the bedroom was hot but plenty of fans were provided. The short walk to public beach was convenient. I would definitely stay here again

AC in Master bedroom is less than desirable !
Location was great we had walking beach access behind home.
Master bed wasn’t even a queen it was very small and AC worked great in all areas of house except master bedroom and bathroom! We had 4 box fans going. Vent in master bedroom is very small!

Great location with direct Beach access
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again. We were wanting quick and direct access to a sandy beach for the grandchildren and this property has that. You can walk down to the beach or drive using another side road. The interior was clean and well equipped with basic necessities. The view of the water from the deck is outstanding. It faces east, so watching the sunrise over the lake is perfect. Even though there are other homes in the area, the property is set where it feels secluded. We arrived on Sunday evening, and the beach was still a little crowded with weekend visitors. However, they didn't stay late and on Monday there were few visitors. It's not a private beach, so pick your spot early in the morning to set up your location for the day if that is your plan. Other than driftwood, the beach is kept clean and has trash receptacles that visitors seem to be respectful of. We used a rake (provided) to clear driftwood for a clean sandy spot for the kids to play. We love the ocean but didn't want to drive that far, and this property fit the bill. A big plus for the grandkids, (and us) while we were sitting on the deck a doe and her fawn ran across the backyard. Beware of the exterior upon arriving, it is COVERED in cobwebs EVERYWHERE. Even so, we didn't see any spiders, etc. It would be nice if the property managers would keep the exterior cleaner. It really scared the grandkids. We used a broom (provided) to brush away the cobwebs on the deck area so they would not be afraid. The air conditioning unit had trouble keeping the interior cooler than 78 degrees. (It was about 100 outside while we were there.) It does a better job at night of course. Several fans are provided. For convenience items, there is a Dollar General about 5 minutes away. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we recommend it.

Quiet and beach access
We enjoyed the beach access and provided accessories during the day. The cabin was quiet, kitchen spacious, and the provided fuel for the fire pit perfect. Great weekend get away for a group of friends to enjoy.

Great location with Great Lake front view.
The house is big enough for a fairly large family. Plenty of places to sleep, sit and eat. The best part of the house was the kitchen. We had everything we needed. The back deck was also very nice, with a nice view of the lake. However, it was kinda hard to enjoy because of the septic problem & smell.(see other reviews) The system is right in the middle of the backyard and puddles of septic waste were present when we arrived and throughout our stay. Between that and poison oak/ivy on the tree line that’s right next to the south side of the house (which is no fault of the owner), it makes it worrisome to let children play in the yard. First appearance when arriving to the home is the presence of many, many spider webs everywhere, but especially under the carport. You have to walk under the carport to get to the key and the entrance into the home. Again, you are at the lake and spider webs are expected, especially with woods so close. A quick sweep with a broom is badly needed so it isn’t the first thing arriving guest notice. A simply recommendation for a huge impression. We had no water pressure when arriving, but the owner was right on top of that and had plumbers there the next morning and it was fixed. There were SEVERAL things broken that couldn’t be used in the home. Three signs alone in the master bedroom & bath posted saying “Out of order” or “Under repair”. The home’s AC was excellent! Very important when hot...If you are bringing a boat, there is a dock just up the road, but had to pull the boat out of the water every evening even though there’s a beach area you can see from the house, you can’t dock there, not that you’d really want to because it’s a good 200 yards from the house. We tried to rent a boat slip at one marina close by, but they had a tornado in March 2022, and everything was under construction. The lady that ran the whole place was out with the flu, so we weren’t able to even find out if they rented slips. We ended up leaving a day early for several reasons listed, among other things, rough waters due to wind, etc. Overall, we had what we needed and might consider staying at this location again, if we knew the septic problem was taken care of, the minor repairs were fixed and there was some maintaining of the outside carport, porch and deck, (spider webs, deck swept and cleaned up some), as the inside was very clean, nice and spacious when we arrived. Owner response was quick and friendly.

We had a great time!
The beach was close and the sand was so nice. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for our family of 6! Scott was very responsive to our text messages and provided plenty of bug repellent because the house is nestled away right by a Forrest. A kayak and floaties for the kids was provided and there were even board games to enjoy. Thanks for a lovely stay at your Lake House!

A work in progress
This property is located in a very quiet area and makes it perfect for family. It is very clean. There are a number of things undergoing repair but the only things that affected us were the wifi and dryer not working. We had a great time and enjoyed our weekend stay.

View is AWESOME!
This home & owner are very accommodating & easy to reach. Any flaws the house has is overshadowed by the magnificent views from the back porch. This house offers more than most including access to beach equipment. This is the perfect location to enjoy the lake! My family of 7 enjoyed our trip and made some great memories! We would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving by the lake
We enjoyed having a small Thanksgiving at this property. It was absolutely beautiful waking up and seeing the sunrise over the water, and getting to spend time with loved ones throughout the day. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is nice
The road to the house is a bit sketchy for cars. My daughter made it down with her Chevy volt. It’s washed out gravel. Since the house is by the woods there is a lot of spiders and webs around the house on the outside and the carport. That was a little terrifying to be honest with all the spider webs and spiders where we had to park and get in. They had a bit of a back up septic problem in their backyard. I couldn’t tell if it was from out house or next door. But that would be all the bad. The good is the location is water front. Beach is so nice. Super sandy. Private for the most part. Quiet. The woods at night makes it a super nice vibe with the fire pit they have for you. Glad we went.

Great beachfront Lakehouse
We loved our stay at this cabin. The spiders and webs were out of control on the outside but the owner had sprayed. The rooms were comfortable, the backyard and lake access were amazing.

Not clean at all. Just walking up to the house and through the door is like trying to ninja through a million spiders! Inside and out - spiders, like wonder if our baby will be bitten in the night, can’t sleep, spiders. Inside, even the walls are dirty, and have holes and couple cracks. The carpet is stained and will dirty your feet. The stove was caked with grease and only partially worked. The master bed had cobwebs on the walls and on the top bed frame, and the shower light in there didn’t work. The second bathroom shower door kept falling off the rollers and the outlets in there didn’t work. The back deck was filthy, like it hadn’t been swept- ever, and had a couple boards that were broken. The lounge chairs out there had no cushions and were broken. I understand the lake, and near woods- but the the cleanliness and amount of spiders was unacceptable. The inside and outside should’ve been sprayed for bugs and spiders, and the outside needs a good power wash if your going to rent it out so people can at least get in and out without getting spiders all over them. The ad pictures of the property are obviously older as it is no longer that clean/nice looking. I did contact the owner once we got home, seeing as the area has no other real options to stay and we were kinda stuck there- still waiting to hear back on a solution.

Amazing Scenic View
This was a great place to spend the weekend. Place was pretty, new looking and very clean. We so enjoyed cooking burgers and hot dogs on the charcoal grill on the great deck with the amazing scenic view of Lake Texhoma. We also cooked s’mores in the Chimenea and had a fun time. Hope to make it back some time..

Great Lake Spot
The beach access from this property is remarkable. This is a fabulous place for a family to stay in and enjoy the lake from the backyard literally. The fire pit was awesome. And the cleanliness of the inside was tough notch. Everything you could need in the kitchen and even a weber barbecue.

A chance to get family together, safely
This trip was one we'd been looking forward to taking since the end of the summer. Traveling during 2020 has definitely posed challenges. At the last minute we had to change our travel dates. Vrbo and the property owner were very understanding to our situation and were able to help us change our reservation dates. We had a wonderful stay at the property, and the view from the house was relaxing, and sometimes entertaining. Perfect for just hanging out and having family time together.

Million Dollar View with Gracious Host
Scott went above and beyond adding a channel to his satellite TV so my mom and dad could see the Tx A&M game. This was incredibly meaningful to my parents. It was my mom’s 75th birthday celebration and she had forgotten to record this game at home. Dad was quarterback for Tx A&M in the 60’s and mom was in first class of women allowed to attend Tx A&M. They are ardent fans. This required phone calls and extra expense for our host. He was incredibly gracious and did not charge us a dime for this service! We loved walking on the long sandy beach. It almost seemed like the ocean. It was a perfect Covid vacation, isolated but easy to get to from DFW. The expansive deck and lake facing windows were a treat. We enjoyed a fire in the chimenea at night while stargazing. We were able to cook, store and prepare food with ease. November was a great time to go with the cool weather. It was very peaceful and comfortable for 5 adults. Then Scott reached out after we left to see who left a house shoe and volunteered to ship it to us. He is a wonderful, thoughtful host who responded immediately to any question and went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay the best possible.

As the title states, the house/rooms/bathrooms were all very clean and the house is well situated for a quiet visit. Views from the great deck are excellent especially for a house that in effectively in the woods. There are however 2 main reasons why we will not go back.1. The internet connection. It's fine inside the house, can get access for email as advertised but it stops as soon as you walk outside. Can't even sit on the deck just outside the door and access the internet. Not sure if a booster can be installed but it was annoying to suddenly lose connectivity. My PC couldn't connect inside, signal strength was so poor, I identified neighbors stronger networks on my android devices2. The walk down to the beach was very difficult. Half way down the ground is covered in prickly weed burrs which stick in and cling to exposed skin and clothing including shoes. We had a horrendous time picking them carefully from our dogs paws and our own feet. It stopped us utilizing the beach as much as we wanted and we didn't attempt to use the canoe as we had to traverse this area of the property without getting spiked by the burrs. There are other improvement items that we have recommended to the owner

Weekend escape from the metroplex
Everything about the house itself was great. The only thing you need to be careful of, is if you have a front wheel drive vehicle, reverse all the way up the rise outside the house until you get to the bend in the track. Otherwise you may have a traction problem. The rise is quite steep.

Nice Weekend Getaway Next to Lake Texoma
We really enjoyed the entire house, the back patio overlooking the lawn and the beach/ lake. The only thing to note is that there were a lot of stickers in the backyard - especially the closer you get to the beach, so be careful with kids and pets out there.

The property manager was great, views are wonderful as well as the property. We were prepared for the mosquitoes and other flying bugs as it was mentioned in the listing. The home is fully equipped with what you'll need to vacation.

Nice Getaway
Layout of the home is very convenient. Inside was very clean and nice but outside could use a little housekeeping. Beach area at the lake was great for the grandchildren. Outside shower was nice for getting rid of sand. AC vent needs to be cleaned out.

The house is perfectly located off Texoma. Couldn’t ask for better views and swims in the lake. The home is spacious and homey.

Fun lake long weekend.
Not a luxury experience but good for the lake area. Boat parking was challenging with narrow gravel roads, but we ended up parking close to the beach in front of the house near the 4 wheel drive trails. It was ok, but unsure of the safety of our boat. Nice deck view of the lake.

Close to the lake.
The location was good. house feels a bit outdated, has all the features you need for a quick few days getaway. Boys and I had a wonderful time at the lake with the kayak. We did fireworks at night time as it is July 4th weekend. The beach area was very open and not too many people during our stay. Thank you

Great Lake home for a family getaway
We wanted to take a fishing vacation for our son’s birthday. This house was stocked with basic kitchen supplies, lake/beach stuff, bathroom supplies, and 3 bedrooms with plenty of sleeping room. Wi-fi and cable worked really well considering the location. And for being at the lake in the woods, the bugs were not bad at all.
There is an easy path to walk from the house to the lake and a sandy beach to walk on. We enjoyed a Beautiful sunrise walk on the beach.
We hired “Advantage Guide Service” for an amazing day of fishing. He took us on a boat and helped my son & his dad catch over 75 Stripers. Then they cleaned and filet 10 fish per person so we could come home and cook the fish they caught.
The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots & pans for cooking the fish & we were a quick 20 min drive to Walmart. We enjoyed a fire on the back patio in the chiminea & roasted marshmallows. Great vacation home! We would recommend this & will come back again.

All about the view
Gorgeous location! Nature everywhere. Beautiful lake, sandy beaches. Owner provides all the little necessities... towels, soaps, water toys, fully stocked kitchen, bug spray... For us, the windows were a turn off though... most were fogged over so the beautiful view was distorted. I washed some of them upon arriving, trying to improve the view, but nope, that didn’t help. Master bdrm windows and door were inoperable. It’s a one and done for us.
