About this cottage rental
Hosted on island by an Airbnb Super Host, this one bedroom one bath home has all the amenities of a full size rental. This budget friendly listing features a queen bed in the master bedroom. The bathroom can function as an ensuite or guest bathroom. It has a full walk in shower and toilet in a private area with a double vanity just outside for privacy. The living area has a new couch and chair for hanging out plus a bench seating and table for indoor eating. Full size appliances and laundry. The deck has outside eating plus seating for sunset views and happy hour. Satellite tv, dvd player with dvd's and access to wifi is available.
This cottage is easy walking distance to Rainbow Bay restaurant so going out to dinner, hanging out at pizza night, or enjoying happy hour is just a few minutes away. A longer walk gets you to Smugglers Beach and Rainbow Bay Beach. This house is perfect for a couples get away, anniversary trips, honeymoon etc. A small family can choose to sleep a small child on the couch just ask us.

Stayed here to be close to my parents’ rental just one house over (Sweet Merlot). Plenty of space for me and would be perfect for a couple. Nice porch views. AC worked well. Showers hot water heated quickly. Large book selection. Driveway entry is a little steep/ rough but not out of the ordinary for Eleuthera. Would book again.

The property is in a great location, super close to one of the best hidden beaches and very quiet. Can’t wait to go back. Everything about this property was beautiful. Sitting out on the porch listening to the ocean was amazing. Highly recommended!!!!

Charming home, well equipped kitchen, reliable wifi, nice book selection, good hot water. The only change I’d recommend is a comfortable mattress. The bed and box springs also squeaked every time we moved in the bed. Oh, some fluffy pillows would be nice. Everything else was wonderful.

It's not possible to find a better place for a better price.
Location is perfect...close enough to stores and beaches to the north/south.
It was so quiet, we loved it.
The one thing I would say is if you have a bad back you may want to consider a different option as the bed wasn't very comfy. I have a back disease and it sags quite a bit so didn't sleep much.

Being that we had stayed @ this property 4 years ago there were no surprises. Great location, but if you are staying here, you need to have a car.
The Rainbow Bay area is quiet! If you're looking for a party scene this is not the place for you. There is one restaurant/bar, The Sunset Cove & Rainbow Room (Previously The Rainbow Bay Inn) that is in walking distance. They have a great menu and are known for their pizza. However, the journey for groceries is not so convenient.

This was our 4th stay at Pineapple Blues, obviously we love it very much…It’s a lovely private setting, house has everything you need make all your meals if you are like us and enjoy eating in…it’s a great central location…We don’t feel any upgrades are needed to be done as other reviewers have said, it’s perfect just as it is, the deck is lovely to sit and watch the sunset and it’s always spotlessly clean when we check in…
Thank you to the really great caretakers of this house, they always responded very quickly with any questions we had…

Our stay in Eleuthera was heaven on earth, and Pineapple Blues was the perfect place to stay. The location was very central to the island and allowed for easy travel. The house had everything we needed and was very clean upon arrival. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive. We will definitely stay again!!

Nice House No View
The inside of this house is nice and very spacious. The outside however needs a lot of attention in our humble opinions. The pictures in listing are not current. The vegetation outside is overgrown and blocks any hope of having a view. Can’t see water from the porch. The grass/weeds were also tall and there’s sand spurs which hurt to step on even with shoes. A good weed eating and grass cutting and general landscaping is in need. The backyard is super big and has so much potential but once again is nothing but overgrown weeds and not a sight to look out while cooking and working in the kitchen. I’d recommend a back patio with a nice grilling area.

Beautiful & Peaceful
What a beautiful spot. My wife and I were looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat from our hectic lives and cold New England winter. Rainbow bay delivered! The property was extremely clean and tastefully appointed. There are so many beautiful little side streets to walk on near the beach. This felt and looked like paradise to us both. The owner was very attentive and called to check in on the evening power outage. I wish We were still there. We will be coming back!

Central location great for exploring Northern Eleuthera
The cottage is nicely appointed with all the basics. Other visitors have noted the need for better lighting and I agree!!! Had to read with my phone flashlight in the living room. Trimming the hedges in the front would allow for an amazing view that is currently blocked.

Great stay!
Area was serene and very relaxing. Consider more lighting in the back area and the trees in front of the patio can be hedged a little more. The view from the patio through patches of the trees are amazing, imagine lounging their and admiring that view unhindered by trees. Overall the stay was great, house clean and neighborhood quiet. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Lovely Cottage in Rainbow Bay
This cottage exceeded our expectations in all ways. Very modern and comfortable inside and was more spacious than anticipated. Very well kept and impeccably clean when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer were full sized (which you may not find even at large rental homes on the island). The location is really convenient if you want to explore nearby settlements (and you should!) - right in Rainbow Bay, and not far from James Cistern and Governors Harbour to the south and Gregory Town to the north. Some of our favorite spots were Gaulding Cay beach in Gregory Town, Da Conch Hut for fresh conch salad in James Cistern, and Receiver’s beach in Governors. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet retreat
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in Eleuthera. The home is as shown in the photos. The area is very quiet and seemed very safe. We enjoyed the patio most of our trip with the cool breeze. The rental is centrally located so on the days we did drive, our trip didn't feel extra long exploring the different ends of the island. The one issue I did have was explained by a simple text message to Melissa, who was very prompt with replies. We did go walking to explore the area, be aware there are dogs, some are friendly but fiesty so be cautious. Restaurant 1648 and wild orchard were our favorite lunch spots. I would surly book again, we really were not ready to go back to reality :)

We did not want to leave. It was my first time and it will most certainly not be the last. The house and surrounding area is so serene. It's a home away from home. Will definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage
We had a wonderful time staying in the Pineapple Blues cottage. Stayed for a month and really got to explore from its convenient mid island location. Snorkels, kayak, and cooler included! We will surely be back

Cozy Island Cottage
My husband and I stayed at Pineapple Blues on our 9 day trip to Eleuthera. The cottage was clean and well equipped and suited our needs well. In the past we have stayed on Eleuthera on beach front properties, but we love to explore the island and visit different areas every day. Therefore, the central location of the cottage combined with the reduced fee for being off water was a great cost saving option for us. We took the kayak to many bays and really enjoyed paddling the beautiful turquoise water. We also spearfish, so it was great to be able to come home and cook our catch, and the kitchen offered plenty of work space and cooking tools. The cottage was cute and comfortable. Overall, we would recommend this place and we would definitely consider staying there again in the future. We appreciated the timeliness of responses from the owners and easy check in and check out process. We had a wonderful week a Pineapple Blues!

Peaceful stay
Our second time staying at Pineapple Blues, we love it there! It's SO clean & comfortable, everything works, and Melissa does not believe in Island time! She immediately answers phone calls and answers any questions you might have. We really appreciate the location - close to beaches, a bakery, a store for groceries, very, very quiet and safe. It was off season while we were there and many restaurants were closed. The nice, well furnished kitchen was good to make dinner and the amazing deck was so enjoyable...sunsets over the Carribbean!! I can go on and on - we had a wonderful stay & look forward to coming back:) Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Rainbow bay. Perfect location for exploring this beautiful island. The property managers were helpful in securing a vehicle and all was exactly as they said it would be on arrival.

Paradise!!!
This was my first time to Eleuthera and I will be making this a annual trip, the cottage was just perfect, loved the location, rainbow bay was beautiful! My advice is travel with as much canned food and spices as you can because they are very expensive and not much to choose from. There is a grocery store 5-10 minutes away and Tony the owner was very friendly and had the basics. The fish fry in governors harbor Friday night was a lot of fun! So much to explore on the island, the locals are very kind so ask questions!! Brianna was awesome to respond with answers to questions we had. It’s true paradise! Thank you all!!

Pineapple Blues was just as described. Great central location to visit all sights and settlements. There are several beautiful beaches in the community that had very few if any people.
Rainbow, Smugglers, and Hidden Beaches to name a few. Good food at the local Rainbow Inn. Convenient, small, grocery stores in James Cistern (one settlement south, make sure you stop to at least get paper products before you head to the house).
The house is efficient and comfortable. You can see the water from the living room and the deck, as well as the lights of Gregory Town in the distance at night.
The owners are very responsive when contacted, and made us feel like they truly cared about our visit being a joyful one.

Comfortable/Relaxing Cottage
Pineapple Blues is a great, private, and beautiful cottage. Everything you need is supplied , very cool and open. Big spacious back yard. The views from the living room, bedroom and porch are breathtaking. We live in New Providence and just needed a getaway, perfect choice.

Pleasant stay in Rainbow Bay
Pineapple Blues was a great spot for our first trip to Eleuthera. It was clean and comfortable and provided a great home base for our explorations. Everything was as pictured and described, and the manager was great with answering questions and providing information during the week. We'd definitely recommend Pineapple Blues to anyone looking for a quiet home-away-from-home on this beautiful island!

Perfect place.................absolutely loved it!!!!
We stayed in Pineapple Blues from June 14-28. The cottage was absolutely perfect!!!! We loved the layout of the space, the deck and view, the amenities, and the location was ideal. Briana organized a SUV rental for us through Terese. The vehicle suited us well. We communicated with Briana through email with any questions and she was always quick to respond. There is an AC unit in the bedroom and one in the main living area, both worked perfectly. This place is a great value. We truly enjoyed our time here and if we return to Eleuthera, we will definitely stay here. Loved, loved, loved it!
