Very traditional Irish
Cleaning inside the room could be a little bit better, same with the attention of the staff

Urocze miejsce nad wodą
Obiekt stary, choć zadbany. Gdzieniegdzie była pleśń, strumień widy pod prysznicem bardzo słaby

Central location. Great breakfast. Very pleasant t room.

Very friendly staff and cozy room! We particularly enjoyed the evening thanks to tasty beers and a live music concert!

Loved the remote setting. The Guesthouse is attached to a lovely little pub, looking out over water. We had a nice meal and were entertained by 4 guys playing a great mixture of music. Friendly & helpful staff.

The location was lovely.
The price was room only, if you wanted Breakfast it was 11 euro each person extra. The Dessert portions @ 6.50 euro were tiny. The bathroom not really up to standard and toilet seat was marked . Not good value for money.

Lovely comfortable accommodation in a superb location. Micheal and family were very welcoming and we also enjoyed wonderful hospitality in OConnors pub and restaurant which are only a couple of doors down the street..
Loads of fantastic beaches, scenery and walks around the area.

Showers were hot with great water pressure. Staff was FANTASTIC. Food in pub was good, with typical bar food. Breakfast was great with plenty to eat. Owner was very helpful, chatty and friendly. Really appreciated his extra effort.
We had 2 rooms, one on front of building, one on back. Room on front was cold, even with max heat, and smelled musty. Room on back was perfect temperature and no smell. Door handles are SUPER loud (squeaky) and woke us several times. Rooms were dated. Overall minor things, but being cold all night was a major problem for me.

This place will always hold a little pieced of my heart! It isn’t “fancy” by American standards. It is however, charming, historic, and delightful!
Rooms in general in Ireland are cold and not heated in the off months.

The most wonderful place to be immersed in genuine Irish culture in a beautiful rural environment. The staff are amazing and soooo welcoming. Our stay was amazing and will remain in our memories as one of our best travel experiences. I cannot rate this highly enough.

The house is placed in nice area, close to beautiful hikes.
The staff were nice, always smiling and helpful. The breakfast was tasty.
The kettle for hot water was available
in the room with some tea and coffee.
The room was really cold and the switch of the bathroom light was broken and did not work. The mould was on the ceiling in the bathroom.
There was a lack of information, we expected that a dinner would be served from 7:00 -8:30. However, when we came the kitchen was closed and we learnt they are closed on Sundays. .

Beautiful Old Irish Pub , Great location right on the water , super friendly staff , lovely food at the restaurant , good size room , quite comfy beds .
Recommend a stay here
Needs a bit of a makeover , I wasn't even able to lock our bedroom door as the lock needed replacing

it was one of the most charming spots I’ve ever been to in my life
it’s not the Taj Mahal, but you knew that already, didn’t you

The general welcome from the staff and helpfulness in general. Michael the host went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay.
There was no hot water in the second shower.

this is exactly the kind of place I imagined staying in when I decided I wanted to take a road trip around Ireland. the cozy bar and restaurant had a double-faced fireplace that got regularly refilled with wood, and the small crowd at the bar was friendly and lively. the bartender / waiter / concierge took out a banjo and serenaded us all. it was like a scene out of a movie. you won’t confuse the rooms for the Ritz-Carlton, but they’re fine. the food was surprisingly excellent. the building is right on the water so my room (and I’m guessing all the rooms) face the inlet, which is beautiful. it’s ideal. I can’t recommend it enough, and the price was right!
the room was a little worn in, but not in a scary way!

Last-minute reservation arrived to a small peat fire in the fireplace in the pub on the main floor. A great pint with fish & chips with mushy peas. Friendly bartender and lovely locals.

For dinner we had some one of the best fish and chips/scampi we’d ever had, and the atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed. The room was great and the breakfast the next day was lovely too. Really well run pub and BnB!
