Perfect Retreat
Great stay at Buffalo Bill’s Retreat. Everything operated as advertised, the hot tub is a great way to end the day and the overall character of the place is very relaxing. A great escape!

Cozy chalet and great location!
The chalet was easy to find and the check-in was smooth. The location is excellent - just a 2-3 minute drive to Sugarbush. Everything was clean and as pictured but the woodstove has been replaced by a gas fireplace, which is great for people who may not know how to use a woodstove. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay
We had a great stay at Buffalo Bill's retreat! The property was very clean, and less than a 5 minute drive from the Sugarbush base area - very easy. We had one small issue with the hot tub, but Bill was friendly and responsive and we got it sorted out quite quickly. Definitely would stay again.

Fellow Vermonter gives a thumbs up!
Great location, great host!
It was a great reminder that there's always more to discover in your own state. After a deluge of rain on Christmas day, we discovered amazing waterfalls within a few miles. We'll have to check out those swimming holes in warm weather!

Great location to Sugarbush
Cabin is just a couple minutes from parking lot of Sugarbush. Owner very responsive to questions. Cabin was clean, beds are very comfortable. Only minor issue is we wish there was a bit more lighting in the kitchen. Would definitely come back.

Restful gorgeous cozy retreat!
Fabulous home away from home. A chalet in the mountains. Quiet, restful lively and Buffalo Bill is great-so helpful and friendly. just don’t spill water out of the hot tub or it won’t work the next time!

Great house
Great house. 2 minutes to mountain. 10 minutes to town and shopping.
Bill was very responsive to the few issues we had (couldn't figure out fireplace, gas for BBQ) and fixed immediately. Kitchen is well stocked with all cooking supplies you need. even some miscellaneous spices probably left behind from other renters.
Hot tub right outside the door was a big plus.
Overall would recommend and will be coming back when I can get to MRG finally!

Good times and fond memories at Buffalo Bill's
A group of friends and I escaped to the the Mad River Valley for a relaxing ski weekend and Buffalo Bill's lived up to the billing. Spacious rooms and a great deck with an amazing hot tub. Bill was very accessible/helpful when our bulky frames (think Dad-bod) displaced a lot of the hot tub water, and he regaled us with great stories about the Mad River Valley and how it has evolved over the years. Did I mention it's literally a 3 minute drive to the base of Sugarbush! Would recommend it to all.

Exactly as shown and a wonderful house to stay for a ski trip
We rented this home for MLK weekend and couldn't have been happier. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the location can't be beat.

Great location
This served to be a perfect location for six cyclist, two of whom conquered the Vermont Six Gap rid in a single day! They were the younger of the crew of course... If you are looking to do the Lincoln Gap, this puts you a substantial way up the course for the start and you can still say you made it to the top :) The amazing deck is the selling point for this property, we thoroughly enjoyed the grill and the hot tub after our long rides. Thank you to Bill, the owner, who was ever so kind. Who knew he was the King of the Barbecue! Next time Bill.

Perfect spot and great hosts
Our group had an amazing time at Buffalo Bill's Retreat. It was a perfect northern VT getaway for our skiing trip and Bill was a very accomodating and helpful host. The location is about a 2 minute drive from Sugarbush resort but also tucked away in a private little corner, a perfect combination. We definitely want to go back again next year.

Life time family memory! The perfect VT ski chalet
We live in the greater Boston area and for our family (week long) winter ski vacation, we wanted to have a special experience. This was our first time we ever skied in VT and we enjoyed our experience so much, we booked this rental for next year.
We are a family of 5 and we had a blast. Bill White (the owner) went out of is way to accommodate us. The place was spotless-clean and decorated as I dreamed what a ski place in VT would look like. There is an outside Jacuzzi, which held the 5 of us, that had beautiful views of the mountains. The drive is only 1/2 mile to Sugarbush, and to top it off, they have a pet horse roaming around in a meadow, right outside of the house. This rental is wonderful and I would highly recommend it.
