We found Allen & Juliet's place to be a great location. Right across the street is Philz coffee and less than a block away are Safeway and Streets Market. Plus there is a good BBQ restaurant (Federalist Pig) just around the corner as well as a great bakery/breakfast place (Tatte Bakery & Cafe). And Juliet and Allen were very attentive. Not only was everything prepared for our stay, but they also gave us clear instructions on how to get in, checked up on us to make sure we got in ok, and promptly responded to any of our messages.
We had 6 people with us and appreciated having room to both all congregate in the kitchen and living room and also to spread out into the dining room or front room when people wanted to do different things.
The next time we are all in town, we will definitely check to see if Allen and Juliet's place is available!

Location superb. A block or two away from everything from Michelin 1 star restaurant, super pizza, Starbucks, The Diner (great comfort food) and Tryst (super coffee café)
All essentials in kitchen and baths are here. Five bedrooms makes multigenerational vacay workable. TownHouse is approx 100 years old, which is charming, but also comes along with noisy wooden floors😊 and no elevator to 3rd floor, so be ready for steps.

The property was true to it's description. It fit our family of 10 very well with a separate room for the kids to play games and watch TV. The kitchen was large and fairly modern. It does need some new pots and pans, utensils, and coffee pot. The two master bedrooms with king-size beds are spacious, and the third floor bathroom is updated and modern. The Wifi was sketchy and probably needs a booster. If you are a reader, there needs to be more lamps and lighting for that purpose. With a little updating, this could be a five star property. As it was, we were very comfortable, and we loved the neighborhood. I think this townhouse was worth the price.

Not the 4 Seasons, but everything we needed to keep a team together and work long hours in a casual environment and eat in when we wanted and go out for a meal when we wanted.
No complaints.

Charming home!
This home was charming. Big... A lot of space. Kitchen was well stocked. Extra towels, blow dryers, ironing board. Did a lot of site seeing and reasonable ubers around town. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Agree with some reviews the house could use a bit of updating but I also feel it adds to the charm. I wouldn't hesitate at the opportunity to rent this home again. Thank you!

Perfect Location/Lots of room
Our family of 8 stayed there for Spring Break and had plenty of beds and plenty of room to spread out! The neighborhood is filled with so many different places to eat. We tried several and they were all excellent! Would absolutely recommend this place!

Perfect for us!!
I can't say enough about this great property in Adams Morgan. First off, the location is wonderful. It's in a beautiful, safe and friendly neighborhood: Coffee right across the street, incredible restaurants around the corner, and even some fun dance clubs down the street. The townhome itself is quite clean, spacious, comfortable and decorated beautifully. There were 9 of us staying together and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay. And lots of towels were available which is always helpful! It's a quick walk to the metro, making it super easy for us to get to our sight-seeing locations. The owners, Allen and Juliet were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They checked in with us on our first day to make sure that we had settled in and to see if we needed anything. To top things off, they went above and beyond when I mistakenly left an entire drawer full of clothes in the upstairs dresser. They gathered my belongings and shipped them back to me in California. I am very grateful, and our entire group was tremendously pleased with our stay in this fine home. Thank you for everything!

Nicely restored and spacious home in a terrific location
A classic restored row house near lots of great shops and restaurants. Well stocked with travel necessities like hair dryers, ironing board and iron, and kitchen staples. It was a great, comfortable place for our family to gather for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Cousin's' Getaway
We are six cousins from all over the country that get together once a year in different locales. This year we chose DC and were delighted with our stay in the Adams Morgan area. The house and area were perfect for us. When we arrived there were a few items that were not working properly and the owner was at the house to repair them within hours...thank you, Allen. We were able to walk to some great restaurants for dinner and loved Tryst for breakfast and mid-afternoon lattes. We all had a wonderful time. And, if we decide to come back to DC - it will be our first choice.

Perfect.
Would highly recommend this home and the aditional English basement unit. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable and stocked with everything that a person uses in daily life. We really felt at home. Thank you.

Great location, comfortable and stylish house
We had several folks from our company coming to DC for a conference. When our hotel reservation fell through at the last minute we found this house and it was perfect. Walkable from our conference and great restaurants in the neighborhood. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Great stay!
This was a great property for my family of three generations! The home was clean and comfortable. Allen was great to work with. The location was perfect!

Great location & size
We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from Howard University it was close to campus, only a few minutes Uber ride. There were lots of restaurants, a grocery store, CVS and bus line right at the front door. The metro was about a 10-15 minute walk up the street. The house was accommodating for our group of 10, age 16-74 years. Beware it is 3 stories with no bedrooms on the first level, but there is a sofa sleeper down there. The stairs were kind of tough for our older family members but we did the running up and down for them. There is only one TV in the house but I thought it was pretty cool because that meant we really had to spend time with one another. We did spend quite a bit of time in the house and on the go so it was a great so it was nice to be able to retreat to your room for some down time and still be in the house with family. The homeowner was nice and very helpful he answered our questions and even met the family at the house for check in.

Large gathering place!
Great place for big family and a great area - Starbucks, CVS pharmacy and grocery store within one block!

Great location, great property - very comfortable, very enjoyable. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Our 7-person family/business group fit perfectly in the property. It's a great space and the location is hard to beat in Washington, DC. The Metro (Red Line) is a block or so away which means you can get anywhere easily. Allen is a very accommodating, charming host.
4.8
This is a great location with a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, and lots of restaurants all within a few blocks. There's also a bus stop right outside the front door. The kitchen is large enough for a few people to work at the same time and there's plenty of seating throughout the house for visiting. The top floor has one king and one queen room. The other three bedrooms are on the second floor. We were trying to figure that out before we left home so figured I'd put it here for others. The back deck was a wonderful place to gather after a day of sightseeing. Thank you for letting us rent your home, it was wonderful!
