Very beautiful place. Cabins look nice and very peaceful area.
Very dark at night. Megapod wasn’t very clean. Was squashed bugs on the walls. Bed wasn’t comfortable in both pod and lodge. Shower in pod is very small. Combined with the toilet, so not comfortable to go to the toilet after a shower. Sheet did not fit on sofa bed. Not toiletries. Wasn’t enough toilet paper or towels for a family of 4 in the pod.

We adore the whole concept and the attention to detail. It's warm and comfortable. It's a brilliant experience!
The oven was dirty on the bottom, so it smoked a lot when using.

Hut was in a good location. you're not on top of each other. Equipment in pod for cooking was excellent. There is plenty to do and see in the area without having to travel far.
Unfortunately the bed was too soft for me but slept quite well on sofa. Hot water in shower ran out too quickly to wash hair as well as shower.

This is a wonderful, peaceful area to stay. The pods are well equipped although I’d advise taking your owe cutlery and China ( those supplied are plastic and not many of them.) Pillows and bedding provided and excellent tv signal with plenty of channels if it’s a wet day. we stayed in Edmund pod which was at the back of the wooded area in the corner, a very cosy stay. Within a short drive from Bury St Edmunds and Thetford forest.
The mattress was not comfortable at all especially if you have back issues like us! Wi-Fi signal within the area is very poor too. I would suggest maybe putting some coverage from trees to pod for when there is wet weather to allow outside seating still.

Secluded quiet calm just perfect for switching off with great walk from the door!! So peaceful
Few more kitchen items/ tools. Updated out door furniture to really enjoy a little spot in the evening

The whole esthetic was amazing, they had gone to so much trouble to make it look and feel like an actual Hobbit hole and it really paid off. Totally magical.
The owners / staff were very helpful in every way too.
Sadly, I expect from being partially underground, there was some dampness in the beds and bedding. I would have rated the comfort higher if it were not for this, as the beds would have been lovely otherwise. (I believe this is being / has been addressed now after our stay).

Fantastic location and great set-up. Excellent pre-arrival communication as well. And great information there for what to do nearby.

We didn't stay at all. We had booked the hobbit hole, they had allocated us a pod.

What a wonderful stay! My partner who is a huge lord of the rings fan was over the moon. super cozy yet really spacious, he loved all the attention to detail and quirky touches. Really great local walks for our dog Jumbo and everything we needed in terms of facilities for our stay. the Themed board games and soundtracks were a fab touch also. We will definitely be back.

It was so magical to be immersed in the experience of cohabiting in a hobbit hole. We simply had the best time, we didn’t leave for the two days we were there as we felt so at home and comfortable. We adored every moment, the shape of the walls and the detail was gorgeous. stocked with everything you could need or want. The shower was lovely and hot, the fireplace was so cosy and the bedrooms snug and homely.
There was a slight dampness in the air at times but it didn’t affect our experience overall.

It was like stepping foot into Bilbo’s house! The attention to detail was amazing and my husband (who I booked it for) was lost for words. Way more accurate and thoughtful design than I expected. We met the creator, Jan, who was absolutely lovely and very helpful.
There was a strong menthol smell when we entered, which turned out to be a plug-in air freshener. As my husband suffers asthma, we turned it off only to realise it was covering up the strong smell of damp and mould. The house was so cold as we came in, it took about 8 hours to warm up with all heaters on. the heater in the bedroom was loudly squeaky and clicky so we turned it off and had hot water bottles we brought with us (recommend). There are cloths on windowsills to catch condensation and most ceilings and corners are covered in black mould. It’s such a shame as the place is beautiful and we were wracking our brains trying to think of how you could stop the mould problem in this amazing place. We left with sniffles and clothes that smell and felt damp.

Everything was absolutely lovely. Kitchen facilities were way better than I expected, toilet was really clean ( don't forget to bring your own towels, shampoo and small bits ) the living room was super conformable which is essential if you want to watch lord of rigs or the hobbit, the bedroom was cosy and warm and the entire house has really cool bits about the movies such a great experience for all those who are fans of the movies or for those looking for a weekend in a remote and comfortable place with really good walks nearby. Amazing experience, really looking forward to come back soon

Exactly as described on website. Cosy, warm and immersive experience. Great winter retreat if your looking for an escape from city life, birthday surprise or fans of Lord of the Rings!
lack of description online about how well stocked the accommodation was with kitchenware

We loved every second of this stay. We did not want to leave. We considered how we could buy that property and live in it forever it was that amazing to us! The kitchen was fab so well equipped. The whole experience was great.
That we had to leave. That we couldn't stay longer. That its so booked up it will be a while before we can come back!
I guess the only thing I could possibly complain about is that the salt was wet as it was stored about the cooker where it must have come in to contact with steam but that is literally pulling at strings.
