About this house rental
Windows everywhere make it feel like a tree house, on the lake. Our families home is all about family & friends gathering and having fun. The spaces in the home are very socially engaging. Take an easy 45 second, walk to the lake in our quite cove and go for an evening canoe, its pretty special. Bring your own boat and tie up at the dock if you prefer. The creek in the back of the home, that flows into Lake Lanier, is lightly active and creates a nice soundtrack for evenings on the back decks. The home has amazing fast internet, streaming media on the televisions, SONOS whole home audio system, games for the whole family, gas grill, multiple decks to enjoy the wooded setting by the lake, foosball table and a kitchen that is very well appointed. At Lanier Vacation Rentals our goal is to provide a 5 star level of service experience beyond anything you you would expect. Send us a note and let us know how we can make your experience 5 star!

We had a wonderful stay! There were plenty of rooms/beds and the house is very well stocked. Thanks so much!

Our family loved this property. The dining room windows gave the experience of being in the middle of the woods high up in a tree house. The house size was very comfortable for our family of five. Scott the owner kept in contact offering to assist us with any issues.

Our family had a great time staying at this property for our spring break vacation. The kids loved the "big room" upstairs, and spent lots of time fishing from the dock. The screened in porch was great for reading and relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed, and the great room and dining room had beautiful views of the lake and trees. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time at the house(Mid-March), it is very spacious and plenty of beds. Master downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs with multiple beds. All the bedrooms were huge and all have full ensuite bathrooms. My kids loved that! The dock is a short walk down some stairs and a short path, very easy the get to. We had nightly foosball championships downstairs. We all loved the big couch in the living room with fireplace going. The outdoor screened in porch was great, too. Driveway is steep but there is room to park your car at the top next to the street which is wide and very very quiet! Made the perfect spring break family getaway. We went to the Atlanta aquarium and the cute town of Helen on day trips! Perfect!

A beautiful treehouse. You might miss it, drive slow up to the address. The steep driveway is almost inverted it is so steep. Truly have never seen anything like it. The parking area is flat and safe to walk on but not many handrails. The first floor is just magnificent. The home is so beautiful. The kitchen is adequate stocked with ample supplies and the pantry is around the corner. You almost miss it. The dining area and living room are very nice. The fireplace is visible from the living room and the back porch. We did not explore the back porch and beyond, as we just did not have time or need. The master bedroom, closet, and bathroom are exquisitely decorated and simply beautiful. The wooden stairs to go to the second floor are wide with adequate hand rails. The bedrooms upstairs are huge. One has two full size beds. (Might be queen.). There is a full bathroom with tub/shower in both. It has a loft that is not really accessible or furnished. There is a landing reading nook on the way to the other bedroom that has another full or queen side bed with an additional two twins. It has children’s books, games, & toys. The basement door is almost missed because you think it is a closet door near the entryway on the first floor. Stairs are safe then living area was perfect for our son with a sofa bed. The laundry has a toilet. Would have been nice to have a shower. Overall very good price for very nice home. Communication great also.

House was great, plenty of room for a family our size. I like to cook for our family and the kitchen had everything I needed, even spices and cooking spray. Driveway and parking was a bit treacherous, and getting down to the lake was more of a haul than we would of liked, but the house and location to local attractions made up for it

I'm a little delayed in writing my review. We stayed at this home for 2 1/2 weeks back in April and couldn't have been more pleased. We had some water damage in our home and had to temporarily move out for the repairs. Scott was so kind with working with us on the uncertain length of our stay (you never know with things like this, it could go smoothly or it could get delayed). Beyond that, we loved the house. It's like being in a tree house with all the beautiful woods in the back. We filled up the bird feeders and enjoyed the visitors.
I *loved* the fireplace. I enjoyed it both in the living room and on the covered porch. My kids loved having the luxury of their own bathrooms en suite in the upstairs rooms and my husband and I were more than comfortable in the master downstairs--which has a beautiful bathroom attached as well. The beds were just as comfortable as our own at home.
Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us to make use of the lake, but it's a nice little walk down there and we definitely would have used the kayak and paddleboards if it hadn't been so chilly and rainy while we were there.
The location is easy to get to and find and feels secluded even though it has easy access to the interstate and all that you might need.
Overall, I would recommend this house to anyone. My husband has even talked about renting it again some time in the summer (even though we live less than 20 minutes away!) so we can enjoy the lake.
You can't go wrong with this house. Scott is great about communication and very easy to work with. Five stars for sure.

We travelled to Lake Lanier to spend time with family over the holidays. This was such a cozy house with a warm fireplace and big table for family meals and game nights. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the lake even more.

This spot is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds are super comfy and the kids were so excited to have a "playroom" in their home away from home! We will definitely be back!

Due to a parent health condition had to cancel our honeymoon. Mother had a procedure 2 days after our wedding. Ince we knew she was able to come home and my daughter could stay with her we booked the same day we left for our get a way. Mr. Adams was great to work with. He did everything possible to help is book for same day check in and made sire our stay was great. We arrived very late at night and the house was spotless. Was able to unpack and relax with no worries. Unfortunately I developed a sinus infection while there so stayed in more then planed. Felt very comfortable and at home. Beautiful home , great host. Loved the closed in deck with fireplace. Would recommend to family and friends. Thank you Scott for a relaxing stay.

Great House
We loved the house for our family get together. We had five grandchildren 11 yrs up-to 22yrs, two daughters, & a son-in-law plus my husband & me. The house was spotless with so much room & decorated very nicely. There was everything in the kitchen that we needed. Scott & Sharon were so nice & willing to help. The only thing we were disappointed in was the location of the lake- south end at Lake Lanier Islands where it is so busy. Even though the water at docke was only about four feet, we were able to get a boat &?jet ski back to the platform in the cove We are just spoiled because we used to live at a great spot on Lanier.

This house could really use an instruction manual. We spent so much time trying to get things to work and communicating with the owner, we didn't have any time left to enjoy it. The main TV was beyond frustrating (my husband and I are in our mid 30's and very tech savvy) we finally just had to give up on it, which was really sad for the kids. The fridge's water filter and ice machine didn't work which was a hassle to have to deal with bottled water. The oven door was locked and not useable - the owner offered to get us a table top unit but we had large trays of food that needed to be heated. We also didn't really want to deal with repair people coming in the house with our guests and small children. The master shower drain was clogged upon arrival. My 4 year old literally thought it was a tub it filled up so fast - gross. It is also a very unfunctional shower if you like a nice hot shower - only a half shower door so all the heat escapes. Also the water takes an obscenely long time to heat up, like minutes. There were people constantly working on the landscaping which was loud and intrusive. The house has a lot of big windows with no shades so we felt on display. My 7 year old found a pair of women's underwear under a bed. The driveway is terrifying. I had to have my husband drive the van up when I wanted to leave. The owner was quick to respond but all solutions involved him or service people coming over - which again we just wanted to enjoy the home and not have strangers coming in and out. It was my sisters first VRBO experience and she said it will be her last, she said she'd rather be cramped in a hotel than a place that isn't functional.

Love, love, loved it!
The owner was available for any questions before and during our stay. Very clean, beds and bedding soooo comfy.
The view was spectacular and sitting out on the porch with the fireplace on as the sun came up drinking my coffee was amazingly peaceful.
Great location, grocery store very nearby.
Will be back!!

Peaceful Oasis
What a great home for family. We were here for our son's wedding, and some of our children and grandchildren joined us in this home. One of the best equipped rentals we have ever stayed at, Scott was available with fast answers whenever we reached out, and all of our needs were met. Overall, highly recommended.

Great time at the lake
We loved staying at this property. The driveway is steep and you have to walk down a hill to get to the lake, but those are very small things compared to what you get. Scott provides a kayak that can hold 3 teens. We had a rope and they towed a fourth teen in a tube they provided. We rented extra kayak and paddleboard from Fletcher's Paddleshack at a good price. Kitchen in well stocked. Master bath is beautiful and master bedroom is comfy.

Beautiful and Spacious Home on Lake
We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at this beautifully furnished and high tech home. Also, having a dock was a plus because we could rent a boat for the duration of our stay and come and go as we pleased. We also golfed at the Lanier Islands Legacy Golf course. It's a great course for a very reasonable price.
An added plus is the owner, Scott, met us soon after we got there to answer any questions and walk us through the TV and Sonos sound system. He stood by his promise to be just a text or call away if we had any questions. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Lake Lanier.
