Mouldy and damp

The location was excellent.

We stayed in room 3 and the shower and bathroom were extremely mouldy. The whole room smelled damp. We used the small AC unit to try to dehumidify the space but it was extremely loud, and we realised that the hose attachment was falling out of the wall so it was just heating up the room on an already hot summer day. Instead, we kept the window open but there is no mosquito net and the room is on the ground floor. The kettle, teacups and spoons were dirty/sticky. Very little thought was given to furnishing the room and it was equipped with the cheapest, low quality furniture. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Even the hair dryer was barely working. For the price paid, I am more than disappointed. I booked this room because I wanted to avoid staying in a chain hotel, but I see that was a mistake. The host barely communicated with me about anything, and they wouldn't have been able to resolve the mould and A/C problem while we were still there (2 nights only) so we chose to just stay out of the room during most of our stay and slept for a few hours before leaving early.

Lovely stay at Apartments Maria. The check in and out was self-service style…very easy.

Great location near the Dragon Bridge. The rooms were big, cozy and clean.

We wished the windows had screens to keep the flies out.

Excellent Location

Loved the location, right next to the dragon bridge, and close to many restaurants. Rooms were spacious and clean.

You don't see staff at all, which is fine - just something to be aware of. Messaged the host about laundry as booking.com lists it as a service and did not receive a response. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

Very good value for money

Good location - 10 mins walk from train station and even closer to city centre. Many restaurants and one supermarket nearby. Room was very clean and although there was shared bathroom, we didn’t feel any inconvenience at all.

La posizione è davvero centrale. L'appartamento in sé è piccolo ma funzionale e luminoso grazie alle finestre da un lato e al balconcino dall'altro lato. Da apprezzare anche la pulizia molto accurata. Una nota positiva è senz'altro anche il codice esterno alla porta che ti permette di entrare e fare il check-in comodamente senza bisogno di incontrarsi con l'host quando si arriva. Inoltre l'appartamento sta in una zona chiusa al traffico quindi molto silenzioso nonostante a pochissimi metri ci siamo moltissimi localini. In generale consiglio vivamente questo appartamento per chi voglia trascorrere qualche giorno a Lubiana. Ottima qualità-prezzo

Excellent location and perfect room for light travelers and good price

Location was perfect.it was right next to dragon bridge and close to the main square and many restaurants around for breakfast

We had a top floor room with winding stairs and we were not told that there were no elevators 😓

Ideal location and value for money

Perfect location on the river side. Close to Dragon Bridge and only 2 minutes walk to town centre and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment. Compact ground floor apartment within an inner courtyard. Close to all the attractions yet very quiet at night. Directions for access to the property were very clear. Ideal for what we needed, we chose this apartment for it's location and value for money. The bed was comfortable though not much room around it.

Space around the bed was a little restrictive. Not a problem for us but it may be for less able people.

Clean and comfortable stay at a great location

The location was amazing! Right near the centre and you could see the castle from the window. We were allowed to check in before the normal check-in time, which was great! Everything was also clean. There was candy by the door :)

Perfect location for a short stay

Perfect location for a short stay in the city.

The room has a window to a courtyard and it gets pretty dark. It was also very humid.

the smell was very bad at the bathroom, the smell was like the sewers actually and the room space was too small

Very nice accommodation for the money in Ljubljana

The location is fantastic, right along the river, but on the more peaceful end.

I didn't like walking up and down the spiral staircase or listening to others doing it, but that's only a very minor complaint.

Great place, clean and comfortable!

great location in the center, very clean, the check-in procedure is simple and easy. Nearby 2 parking lots, which is very valuable for the city center. The hostess is a sweet, helpful and charming girl who allowed me to check in earlier than the scheduled time. Definitely recommend!

Nice and cozy

Place is very clean and it's located in the center of the town so you can go everywhere on foot. The room was cozy and the host was really nice. There is also a laundry room which was super useful. Another really nice thing was that we were allowed to leave our stuff in the apartment grounds after we checked out.

Very comfortable, Clean and super central :)

Our apartment was really perfect. many windows and a balkony so it was really bright. It was super clean and everything we needed was there😊 Very central to the main square and Aldi is directly over the street :) If I will come back to Ljubljana I would definetlely rent one of Maria’s Apartments again😇

Excellent location,right in the middle of good cafes,restaurants,main food&fresh veg&flower market, galleries.Views of the river&the castle.Public transport nearby.

The stairs from the courtyard&main entrance to some rooms are steep.

Room very nice and well located! Great value for money

The place it's very well located and clean! The room it's a small bedroom and a bathroom, so can be a little full for two people if they have a lot of luggage or need space. I was there with a friend and everthing was just perfect! It was very easy and fast to the talk to the host, she was very kind and helpfull too. I definitely will stay there for a next time!! Great value for money

The location which is just near to the attractions areas.

The building look like no soundproofing. Can hear people talking outside. During my stay, the is construction going on outside the unit which actually not supposed for people to walk. It is dark and dangerous in the night.

Perfect location and hospitality in the heart of Ljubljana

Location is perfect, right in the city center where all tourist attractions are situated. Room, although a bit small was perfectly clean and warm. Check-in and check-out are very well organized, basically contactless.
