Stunning turn of the century home available for your gathering. Visit a refined time of the early 1900s. A classic shingle style home sitting atop a bluff overlooking the home's boat house, Bird Sanctuary on Lawrence Island, Megansett Harbor, and Buzzards Bay beyond. The homes 5 bedrooms and 2 baths are ample in size; some with sitting areas overlooking the harbor. Spend your vacation hours watching the Osprey dive for their dinner and enjoying the incomparable sunsets. A private sandy beach gives way to the boat house, which can accommodate a large yacht. The boat house has a changing room, small fridge and fresh water, and sitting areas inside and on the dock. Most lucky to reserve a week at Gregg House find themselves coming back again and again. Broker Interest.
Improvements continue to be made: Ceiling Fans and Air Conditioning added for Summer 2025!
A note on the area: The charming seaside village of Falmouth Massachusetts was first settled in 1660 and incorporated in 1686. The cultural resources, historical significance and New England charm can be found all about this lovely town. From over 75 miles of coastline to the historic charm of downtown Falmouth Village, one may find an abundance of activities the whole family will enjoy. Again, this home is on the water a walk to the public Megansett Beach on the Bay side of the Upper Cape, a bike ride to the newly opened bike trail which will transport you to Woods Hole. Glistening waters, soft white sand and plenty of fun for the kids at this beach (or enjoy the private beach). The Megansett community and it's charm is what Cape Cod dreams are made of. Close to the North Falmouth ball field (fly a kite anyone?), playground, tennis courts, and the Library ... for those not so 'beachy Cape Cod days'. Escape to the Cape and relax.
TYPICAL WEEK CHECKIN/CHECKOUT: Saturday at 3 pm to Saturday at 11 am. $10,500/week plus 14.45% room tax plus cleaning fee of $400
